This is an example of someone who has been up for days using stimulants like Crack and Meth as well as a little bit of Fentanyl. He most likely increased his dose of Fentanyl so he could sleep, or simply because he was delirious after being awake for days. Regardless, this is the effect of using a lot of drugs for several days in a row and adding to much Fentanyl. People watching cable news or spending too much time on the internet will tell you this is Flakka or something weird from China. It is not. Its not Bath salts either, they have been gone for at least 7 or 8 years.

You are correct! I know because years back I was using meth with fentanyl analogs together and never really slept for almost 12 or more Days besides nodding (not real sleep) and although my symptoms weren't quite as dramatic in this way I had extreme drug induced psychosis involuntary movements hear voices seeing animated sexual graphic violence on everything, one minute I'd be able to sit still the next I'd be flipping out. It was like my body had an internal gas pedal that would have me accelerate for a period of time and then let up for a minute or so. It was absolute hell. I cannot overstate that. I couldn't talk right for almost a month my sentences structuring was off, I couldn't remember anything, where I lived, who my parents were. It took forever to regain my sanity. These drugs everyone thinks they're having fun on are meant to kill you! They are no longer drugs but poisons and they damage you mentally and physically quicker each year due to processing methods etc. Please please please get help if you or any friends/family are using. Things have gotten ugly on the streets now. Thank you officers for warning folks and saving this man from harming himself or others. I pray for everyone suffering addiction, but there is a way out if you truly want it!

Ronald and Nancy Reagan focused on Pot Smokers as being the Root of the Drug Problem since it was the GATEWAY DRUG. So they filled the Prisons with their Ground Up operation where they jailed every user they could find with the theory it would lead them to the guys at the top. It never did, but the over crowding got so bad they had to let all of the most violent criminals out to make room for non violent drug users and never getting the guys at the top that were bringing it into the Country and running the operation like they were supposed to never happened (because Rich People control illegal drugs). Like Reagan's TRICKLE DOWN ECONOMICS. Where Republicans give insane Tax Breaks to other Rich Republicans with the theory that the Rich Peoples money would Trickle Down to the poor. The only thing that happened was they had more money to invest in Foreign Companies (and they did) plus they could afford better quality cocaine (the drug of choice for the rich). The reason the Drug War in America didn't work was because it was purposely designed not to work and has performed flawlessly to get us where we are today. Addicted to illegal drugs with nobody at the top getting busted and the prisons full of losers. When was the last time you saw on the news where and American Drug Kingpin that is head of the entire Operation was caught and jailed? Never!

@@Brianpca The officer needs to keep the guy talking and assess where the guy is at. I was a crime reporter many years ago, and it caused me severe depression and anxiety. Seeing a drunk stagger around in a video is funny and shrug-off-able. Seeing it in real life is like being force-fed something horrible into your brain. Like watching someone self-harm. I just don't know how those officers cope. Watching this is quite shattering. Cops deal with it day after day and have to make a huge switch when they get home and deal with wife and children who are far too innocent to even hear about things like this second-hand.

      Looks like an anti-cop video...
This is a medical emergency and they are treating it like it is not... This should be shown in cop and law schools to show that these officers were one death away from all of this footage being used as evidence in court for why they let this guy almost die.
And they do that to all people they SUSPECT are on drugs, sometimes they let sober people with genuine mental health issues get hurt because of their blanket hatred for what they call drugs.
And they wonder why people hate all police SO broadly... Maybe it's because they turn it into a fight for that person's rights (and life in the case of being battered by police),and with that amount of power they are essentially attacking rats in cages.
I'm not an expert, but I have not been convicted of any crimes but have been profiled for driving old cars and having an eating disorder that's always made me look gaunt...
Long story short I legit had PTSD nightmares for MONTHS over cops turning my car upside down and taking me in for fingerprints when they had nothing to charge me with and I never resisted... They did it because they suspected me of having THC in my CBD products that were in their original packaging.

I used to make sure my junkies had extra blankets, a bucket for barf and I got them tons of prune and apple juice so they could get some relief from withdrawal and constipation that would lead them to impactions. You can be firm but remember at the end of the day - this is a human being. I'm grateful that the responding officers treated him with care. Some pain you can't get rid of. I had hookers tell me their parents put them out to trick for them at the age of 11 or let their dealers have sex with them for dope when they were in elementary school. Watching this absolutely breaks my heart because I know all too well what led him to this. It's all euphoria until you realize you're kicking and flailing while simply trying to walk down the street like this man.
The one thing they don't tell kids is that you'll feel the happiest you'll ever be on your drug of choice. They don't tell kids that afterwards, not only will you never feel that good again, but you'll do literally anything trying to. Ignorance truly is bliss. It's best never to experience that euphoria rather than spending every minute of everyday and every penny you can get your hands on chasing it.

You are half correct. I do believe, when it comes to teaching children, all aspects of drug use should be covered and informed of how great it will feel but understand it has a downfall. But I also believe the stigma around drugs is absolutely blown out of proportion when it comes to certain drugs, just because it's always the mentality of OMG DRUGS BAD!! There's blatant misinformation and downright lies surrounding drugs which is more than likely the reason for such curiosity even though we've all been told and know drugs can harm you.
Psychedelics and THC have great benefits to your body when done properly, why is this not being taught? Obviously yes, there's a downside to using anything - but the same can be said for this country's food, and I don't see any crusades happening to correct that. Too much of anything is harmful, teach that instead. One or two hits of LSD isn't going to kill you, or harm you in any way. You may actually gain a deeper insight on yourself and come to a better understanding of life. The same can be said for magic mushrooms, and THC is a great way to keep stress levels under control if you have high blood pressure, or you have eating disorders. These drugs in moderation are not going to harm you, but the mass amount of opiates and other chemical altering drugs you were prescribed by your doctor absolutely will harm you. But again, I see no movements or education explaining how corrupt and harmful Big Pharma is. Telling kids NO DON'T DO DRUGS is just going to make them want to do drugs. Instead, educate them and teach them to RESEARCH! If you're going to a drug, research all about it first. Research the negatives, the positives, side effects, what to expect, safe amounts to consume etc etc. And no, I'm not implying go out and smoke crack or meth because you researched it, use common sense. But flat out lying and saying all drugs are bad and harmful is just wrong and very misinformed.

There’s an interesting study on the stats related to hospital admissions in Canada since marijuana was legalised then started being promoted. A 40% increase in psychotic presentations to ED & then a 25% increase in people who developed schizophrenia within 2yrs after a hospital admission for drug-induced psychosis during the period that they started marketing weed. And so many people just don’t have a clue how dangerous even seemingly benign drugs can be 🤷‍♀️

My heart hurts for him. I found a way out and gained my own place in this world after feeling like my child was grown and didn’t need me and felt lost. I believe from experience that people (including me, past) initially get into drugs to escape pain, not knowing how much worse the repercussions are physically, chemically, emotionally, and the chemically dependent aspect. The last part is the hardest. One of the substances I struggled with most hit me like a brick clock every 3 weeks after I tried to quit. The cravings hit on schedule every time. Gradually they went away according to that schedule but they never go away completely since it’s engrained as an irrational “quick fix” in your brain for emotional pain. But in reality the toll it takes on your body, your health, and the aftermath are far worse than short term numbing.
