I saw this band in there prime and I was a huge fan. But i was rather disappointed with Stephen Pearcy at one concert . It was the Mountain Aire festival in the calaveras county fairgrounds up in the hills of Northern California above Sonora. It was a family atmosphere carnival .an airshow booths selling hot dogs and popcorn basically like a county fair. their was a lot of little kids in the crowd . This was no adult metal crowd at all . In fact I don't know why they included RATT on the bill . Here it is a sunny day in northern California family atmosphere popular mainstream artists performing . Sure Man it's cool I dig this band . And then Steven Pearcy looks out at this basically wholesome crowd with kids in the audience and said something very vulgar .. This concert was probably in 84 . There is a time and a place for everything and that comment in front of that crowd. changed my opinion of this band.

What an idiotic comment- do you have ANY clue how many shows around the world this man sang night after night for over 40 years? Oh yeah, and he got super f'ng rich with this voice too. Very much so. Never blew the shit out of his money like a lot of metal artists did. He didn't turn into a bloated fat ass- he stayed skinny and able to fit in that spandex and leather, didn't go bald....He's up on a stage and the audience is singing the words to the songs HE wrote because somewhere along the line they bought those albums, cassettes and CD's and the younger generations are STILL buying their music. Where's your audience that sings your songs with you? Didn't think so.
Pearcy is a freaking legend. I’d pay $100 to sit in the same room as him for 90 minutes.
