I'm slowly starting to piece this car back together and decided to start with the front. Found these led Chevy emblems on eBay and decided to start with one of these. Let me know what you guys think about it

Good job Do they have chrome emblems as well & can one be installed in the back where the tail lights are?
Yes you can put one on the trunk, you'll just have to drill a hole for the wires. I haven't seen an all chrome but you can get some vinyl and wrap the middle piece

I ordered one and the wires is thin what did you do to make them thicker and what wire is the constant for the park lights and which one is the ground?
You can't make the wires thicker I just adding longer wires to the end so it would reach the park light wires
Go to about 4:45 in the video I show the power wire for the park lights. I grounded the emblem light on a bolt above the grill

Yea mine just came today it's nice and bright asf but yes the wires are super thin
Those thin wires are really the only downside with it

Quick hint bro next time hit it with 400 grit sand paper and then 600 itll last longer

Yeah still works fine. Only downside is the chrome eventually started peeling and yellowing from rock chips and all. I would suggest maybe a clear coat or ppf over it to keep it from wearing

Yep, the chrome has some chips in it from bugs and rocks but the light still works fine. Might wanna put a few layers of clear over it or some ppf to keep that from happening

The new body style has bigger emblems but I think they make a version like this that will fit it

3m tape to hold it then black rtv sealant on the back side to keep it there. It's wired to the park lights to come on automatically at night
How to get for Tahoe if u can help me ?
I don't think this one fits the Tahoe but depending on the year model they have some on eBay/Amazon that fit

How long did the paint last ?
It's still on there now. It's a few rock chips in it but overall it's still good. The issue is the chrome part that lights up gets chipped too. I would probably clear coat the whole thing if I had to do it again

I have had mine for 2 years now blue in the front and red in bak
And it's still holding up after 2 years? That's good news
Yea surprise me too but apparently blue can't be used in the front only white after all this time they pulled me over and tell me dat so I wired it to come on with the fog lights till I get a white 1
@@callmedez306 yeah that's why I just started with the white one. Got pulled over enough times for the halos being on different colors

Does its work fits on Tahoe 2009
The Tahoe emblem is bigger than this one but it's the same process and they have one made to fit the tahoe
