      No. You've swallowed exactly the kind of nonsense he warns about. She actually tried to make positive change and was sabotaged by her own backstabbing party, the Bank of England and a gleeful mainstream media that revels in reporting and causing political chaos. She was guilty of a lot of the same things, but the reason she was ousted wasn't incompetence, it was trying to make a genuine positive change.

    He's none of these things.
    How quick we are to judge as human beings.
    I realise it's a human instinct but we have to constantly rethink this bad habit until we've practiced it out of ourselves. Instead, use it back as it was meant to be, a form of self-defense and protection.

    • @vladivanov5500
      @vladivanov5500 Před 11 měsíci

      That number is a tad arbitrary. Most people wouldn't have heard of him, most that have only hear of him in passing through a mainstream uber progressive source that is most likely going to amount to a hit piece. The primary reason is establishment media conditioning. Most aren't invested in the political scene and trust the headlines implicitly.
      There are certain views of his that undoubtedly go against the grain, of course, such as his anti-marijuana stance, a sacred cow both for the younger generation and the many people nostalgic for the hippy era. The things he says in regards to immigration, normalization of crime, general distrust and impotence of the law, etc surely strike a cord with the majority, however.
      More than once has a crowd turned from disapproving murmurs to applause when he touches upon this elephant in the room, as it is something the average citizen sees clearly everyday. It's just not a reality that well-to-do politicians live in as a rule, so naturally to them it comes off as "old-fashioned" and "manic"
      They aren't the ones that have to live with the consequences of these policies, by and large.

    service . . . And during that period I spent most of my time as a high-class
    muscle man for Big Business, for Wall Street and the bankers. In short, I was a
    racketeer, a gangster for capitalism. Thus, I helped make Mexico and especially
    Tampico safe for American oil interests in 1914. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a
    decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped
    in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefit of
    Wall Street. I helped purify Nicaragua for the international banking house of
    Brown Brothers in 1902-1912. I brought light to the Dominican Republic for
    American sugar interests in 1916. I helped make Honduras right for American
    fruit companies in 1903. In China in 1927, I helped see to it that Standard Oil
    went on its way unmolested. Our boys were sent off to die with beautiful ideals
    painted in front of them. No one told them that dollars and cents were the real
    reason they were marching off to kill and die.”

    Peter Hitchens speaks a lot of sense. I don’t agree with him 100% but he hits home on most things. A couple I know in London, a doctor and a self-employed web designer had to rent and save into their mid-late 30s and have parents’ help in order to finally afford to get a mortgage on a small terrace house. Utterly ridiculous. UK Housing policy is insane.

    • @jordan3400
      @jordan3400 Před 5 lety

      Tom Maj how? I really don’t understand this. You can buy a house with a few years of saving as a doctor on a single salary. A self employed web designed (assuming their not a shit one) on top would easily buy a very good house with a couple years of savings without any help. You need a minimum of a 5% deposit. You could easily get a 10% deposit on a £250,000 house. £12.5k each. Not sure how anybody would struggle to save that by the time their 30 with the above jobs.

    • @jordan3400
      @jordan3400 Před 5 lety

      Tom Maj oh in London? Well in London they pay everyone more for the same work, so pretty sure you could? If not commute in? If you don’t want to do that then don’t live in London. It’s like saying I’m a hard working Taxi driver and god damn it I just can’t find affordable housing in Dubai.
