Thierry Dusautoir solid tackle on Jerry Collins

- During the 2007 Rugby World Cup quarter final between France and New Zealand at the Millennium Stadium. France flanker Thierry Dusautoir smashed into the All Blacks flanker Jerry Collins thighs very hard so that Collins was left limping. Collins played on until 63 minutes, but his thigh had to be heavily strapped at half time and Richie McCaw said in his autobiography that the hit by Dusautoir prevented Collins from having his usual impact on the match and he was subbed off for Chris Masoe earlier than had been planned.

I'm a kiwi. Dusautoir is the best player I've ever seen play against the all blacks, he destroyed us in that game, something like 34 tackles.
If you noticed the game clock you'll see that he played on for another half hour after this hit, shows some gritt from Collins.
Jerry was the best 6 of the world before this match... and one of my favorite players!!! After this game, he never be the same.... Even his legendary strench was not the same!

jerry was the enforcer. and u need someone like that against the french. but dusautoir got him with an absolute pearler. RIP Big Jerry!
The ref penalised Dusautoir for being offside, as he should have, yet didn't mind McCaw entering the ruck from the side.
