- Alexander Morozevich Checkmates Magnus Carlsen By One Magical Knight | Blitz Chess Tal Memorial 2013.
Alexander Morozevich Vs Magnus Carlsen: 1-0.
Result: Alexander Morozevich won.
¿Who wins?
Juan- San white
Carlsen loses. He has no escape, whatever he does, white is doing knight h6, check mate on one. Carlsen resigns before.
Juan- San
We are all winners!
+ Guz Man but, what if he moved the pawn in h7? like he moves it to h5. Then if the knight checks the king, he moves to where the pawn was.
7asano5 Nxe7 if the pawn on h7 is moved.
Alexander Morozevich is my favourite player.
Me too

Great guy
Karpov
This has to be my favorite Blitz game ever. Morozevich is so elegant yet a deadly killer
I think that mangus had won😢
He Is the John wick of chess 😅
9:28 They smiling at each other was just so heartwarming for me.
This is one of my favorite games to rewatch.
I'm not good at chess, but they seem to be paying without a dice? amateurs.
BeefPapa half chess, half liars dice = $200,000 grand prize. Not bad for one magical night's work.
You know nothing about Chess. You're obviously supposed to play them with magic & trap cards
gambling has its ways even toss coins or a revolver this is thinking game picture of logic only talented thrive market one day pays everybody to play not the other way
Alexander Morozevich the greatest chess player of all times
divano assiro hahaha come on dude
Gary Kasparov: no.
He has very complicated calculations
@@leusuzuki763 because moro is the best
I stopped playing chess more than 5 yrs . But when i scrolled down youtube videos and saw my fav player GM Morozevich it gives me excitement to play again
One of the most underrated player . I remember in PCA 1995 he at age 17 attacked anand on king side with his pawn and beat him convincingly when anand was on top 3 .
Morozevich just like a song composer. He think hard and careful to set beautiful position (just like when song written, take long time). Then the final moment he show his opponent what he set and go for attack them really fast (just like when song finally played).
9:29 Look at that smile! Awesome. That game was amazing, by which I mean I had no understanding of what was happening. Fun to watch a level of chess I will never play :)
Carlsen-Morozevich my favorite match :)
Me too
One of my favorite; extraordinary calculations .. simply wow !! :)
Morozevich is a living legend.
After watching this I know that I still have a lot to learn
Morozevich como sempre sensacional
This is exactly what I'm calling beautiful game. :) Very nice and interesting game from both players. :)
Carlsen shocked at the last movement.. Morojevich played fantastic..
Got that ten minutes boys
Lol you can see the eagerness and adrenaline in Alexander's face near the ending.
9:27 that smile when u lose and get learned from your mistakes
I love the way how Moro plays,Calm and devestating
What an excellent position the knight lands in 👏👏👏
Good game and good moved by Mr.Alexander Morozevich.

Super партия ! Это партия шедевр и так же приятно слышать голос девушки! Такие ходы делать на флажке это сильно... .
Morozevich was so nervous near the end, look at his hands shaking so much!
This is one of my favourite games.
this is amazing
the look on this face (smile) "he fucking just mated me" *brilliant*
Where is him today, 2021? Any news on what he's doing?
Morozevich es un Excelente jugador!!! de 10!!!!
What an amazing setup by Moro! Carlsen had no chance there.
For anyone saying h6 or h5 and Magnus is saved. After either of those moves, Sasha can play Nxe7+, then Rxe7 (This is forced. If Magnus chooses to move the king, it will result in a mate in 2), Qxe7. This endgame will be lost for Magnus; those 2 passed pawn will fall, and the bishop won't be able to do anything.
Un ajedrez fino el de ALEXANDER precisó
The time when commentator said opa opa, seemed like he found the checkmate one
Exelente partida
nerve wrecking to even watch :)
That knight manoeuvre came out of nowhere and with catastrophic effects. I was so sure Magnus had this.
THE FIDGETING OF Alexander Morozevich IS GETTING IN MY HEAD XD !
camera angles suck no close up of the board in the beginning. it got better though
Wasn't that checkmate at 07.10?
My favorite debut Bugayev Attack a3-e5, b4
Chess is a man's game
Awesome match!
Anyone notice that the clock started moving in the positive direction at the end
The kid with the green shirt sure is annoying
that's why he lost xD
Didn't notice the kid because Morozevich's fiddling was driving me INSANE.
Well, at least the kid did not grab the pawn from Morozevich hand, slam the clock button with it, and then took the shirt off and put it on Carlsen's head.
Leeloo Minai kids still annoying
@michael scott: I think this was the fastest response I have ever seen in a comment section. And I just imagined you sitting there with a chess clock that has the button wired to the Enter key on the keyboard :)
That left hand holding his head was a sign: Carlsen seemed tired and not very focused in the game.
not a reason to loss....
Everybody in the video: holy shit he's genius
Me after watching the handshake: what is magical?
Will it be distracting for the player if an opponent keeps playing with a pawn simultaneously
:Could Morozevich not have moved queen to H7 @7:39?
What's wrong with what's wrong with a5?
amazing play
Гениальная партия!
@7:44 why not pawn G6?
Resigning was a blunder. h5 would lead to a longer game, preventing any immediate threats, and making time control the only real threat. Even if it was an armageddon or if he had to win for another reason, it is not clear that he would lose on time, since they both were totally and similarly low on time.
h5 does not stop Nex7 (check) which wins on the spot. Black had no choice but resign.
Commented GM Sergey Shipov and ex-world champion Alexandra Kosteniuk
Morozevich is the most spooky, charismatic chess player on planet.
I think he should have used Rg7 move at @8:42 but instead he moved the king which led him to a forced checkmate..
I'm not good at chess but WHAT would happen if black played pawn to h6 or h5 to make a square for his king then promoted his pawn and thus a queen and two rocks would be on the same line. What can the white do? PLEASE I want to learn.
Magnus saw that if he moves his h pawn he will lose both rooks for nothing and his pass pawns will not promote. (Black: ....h5, knxR+ ; Kh7, Qg6+; Kh8 QxR+; Kh7, Qg6+...) Great grandmasters
How was it a checkmate without a check?
Moro and chuky are my favorite 2 players they have that "I dont give a fuck" style. Thanks for the video
my brain hurt
Morozevich, my favorite player
Idk, I think the real hero was the light square bishop. The knight on C3 is was so useless that in the blitz game he determined that he could sack it for great complications and a long term initiative. But that bishop was influencing so much pressure against the king throughout the game. With it constantly threatening to sack itself and rip open the king.
morozevitch always wins magnus
At 8:13 he should not have played Cc5? d5 looks strange killing his bishop scope
totally amazing game :)
Why at 7:11 Morozevich did not take the a7 pond with his Q? Why, same position, he did not check with the Kn, forcing black K to b8, and then taking his Q with the same Kn? Are these possible solution? Thank you :)
RIGHT! After the check, he could have gotten a mate
Miguel Swartz did anyone answer why he didn't do that? Are we missing something??
4:55 "bttkptabuka" is the language?
Whoami Beats klebe de klebo makibo trkalijo suwale mebelosdrong

"с3 может быть - как-то перекрутиться" - c3 maybe, somehow overcurl ))
amazing immortal
Superb Victory,🤝👍👌✌️🌏
9:06 Alexander checks his hand telling that you are mate come one but carlsen did not listen to him so he got mate after 😊
Three time repetition claimable, Black to move Last: 53.Nf5
who win the match
Did anyone else notice that kid throwin up devil signs in the background? I know I sure did!
Wow, Moro kicked his ass!
I'm 14, started playing chess a few days ago. Im using that app called Play Magnus and my rating is 1128, is it good?
Anybody else noticed the lost actor working as security at 4:07?
Why morozevich doesnt play chess anymore?
but there was no checkmate here. wrong title
Who are the two Russian commentators?
Carlsen pose its like "oh this is so boring"
the moment he lost when his Queen was down
..Rg7 can't save the mate? Please help me with this one
Excellent
why not throwing dice ?
really magical knight afraid of that merciless knight
At @7:47, White plays Nxg6+, and the queen is no longer pinning Black's h-pawn. Isn't the knight en prise then? Why did Magnus play Kg7 instead of just hxg6?
fibonacci112358s QH4 check and you lose the rook
Excelent for Morozevich ¡¡
that was crazy
Is that Alexandra Kosteniuk doing commentary?
That voice of the woman narrator is so nice...
7:43 knight cannot be taken because of Qh4+ forking to king and rook at d8
Эпичная партия!
God bless the commentators LOL
Why not Rg7?
9:37 karjakin LOL
"oppa oppa!!"
What the problem with this time watch? Is it really a world professional chess game? Does it normal time randomly increase so many times like this on a world tournement?
