@@tianzhou1244 It's so obvious you have to be braindead to ignore it. The issue is even if there's plenty of evidence to show it and players can tell he did, not to mention the fact he admitted to doing it twice; the issue is you can't prove it without monitoring his house or setting other regulations, etc. Unless he's caught red handed OTB. There have been quite of few others that have been suspected and even caught doing it. The thing is he's still a GM. He only needs to cheat for 1 or 2 moves a game in critical moments to gain a decisive edge. I'm sure you can find legitimate videos explaining how easily you can cheat. I wouldn't be surprised if you either don't play chess or you have a low rating to think the way you do. Top players don't say it, because they're afraid of getting sued, but it's not hard to see what most think.

Magnus got tricked. Trust me. I have had someone just like this play the exact same game. I wasn’t mated though. Surprised Magnus fell for this crap. Anyone over 2100 should have won this game. How did he fall for such a trick? He did not play so solid. He played Sporadic.
Dude looks like he just woke up and was paying more attention to his chat than the game until he realized he got bamboozled. It's amazing to me that players like him can usually do this no problem while streaming.
