Call Me Kevin
This stickman game is so much better than it looks
#CallMeKevin #Gaming #Letsplay - Hry
Kevin please please PLEASE play more of this. You and Loathing games go together like Jim Pickens and murder
i would love him to play this again
everyone agrees!!
pleaseweeeeeee
Ikr! The humor of the games are right up his alley
Definitely
I like how Gabby turned into Gertie halfway through
And he seemed to like Gertie way more then gabby
Yeah I was like "I'm definitely not paying enough attention cause suddenly there is another person " and it wasn't me
hahaha I can't đ
I just had to scroll down to the comments and ctrl f gertie to make sure I wasn't losing it with the name change... it's just kev losing it which is normal
Which made it even worse when he said he was actually starting to like her as a partner, didn't even remember her name tch
@@seidimeow same here đ
The loathing series has to be some of the funniest things Iâve ever seen. It is just pure parody and I love it.
It's amazing that they started from just a free browser RPG. I still remember playing KoL back in the day.
Agreed
Yes
And the actual gameplay is awesome too. Itâs honestly one of my favorite game series.
and the loathsome dung eater
The fact that you see a gun you can't equip yet at Chekhov's house is such a good Easter egg.
Omg Simone and Simone's monster... Omg this game is so cute!!
Can you explain it for my friend who's a toddler. Not me though.
@@thomasr1051
From the internet: "Chekhov's gun is a dramatic principle that suggests that details within a story or play will contribute to the overall narrative."
Like, the writer will introduce a gun or other item/plot point in the story and you, the reader, are trying to see when and how it will be used, because it will be used. Otherwise why introduce it in the first place? So since we can't interact with the gun in the game *yet*, we'll wait and see how we can interact with it in the future.
I also believe the Simone/Simone's monster is a nag at the (again, literature oriented) meme of calling Frankenstein's monster Frankenstein.
These nags make sense as the game is an homage to Lovecraft's works, who is a well known author (although was very misanthropic)
@@phoebedarker I think it's named after Simone Giertz, who likes to make shitty robots :)
8:48 Kevin's soft laugh after naming the turtle is just sweet
I feel like this game matches the energy of Kevinâs play-style, I love it!
if you put both the spider options on do you get a normal amount of spiders
@@redmist6630 spiders with more steps!đ€Ł
I love the Loathing series and I'd love to see more of it played. It has a quirky, manic humour to it that suits Kevin's playstyle.
totally agree! i hope kevin revisits west of loathing sometime, itâs definitely a personal favourite
I gotta say, parts of this game sound like Kevin himself wrote it
Didn't the main dev turn out to be a complete and unironic youtube though?
@@dusklunistheumbreon I neither know, nor care if any certain individual in a team doesn't align with my own personal morality or ethics. If he's that bad, let the law sort him out. If not, leave him to it.
@@FunkyFyreMunky so...are you actually then supporting laws against that level of youtube? Or are you just saying that so you can just pretend you're not directly funding the dev's statements?
Didn't see this noted in any other posts but here you go Kevin...Gertrude Ederle was a famous American Olympic swimmer, John Gilbert was a popular silent movie star and Juan Belmonte Garcia was a legendary Spanish bullfighter, who surprisingly did NOT die in the bullring.
I was beginning to worry that nobody else was as curious as me to look up those names
@@Hundeputzmunter Actually, I'm a silent movie fan so I knew who John Gilbert was and I'd heard about Garcia's exploits in the bullring! I love the game's references to the past. In a way, it's anti-pop culture!
I thought I recognised Juan Garcia, but I was thinking of Juan Pujol Garcia, british spy and one of the best trolls in human history.
Oh, hey! I didnât know it was THAT Gertrude! I remember reading about her in those one of those textbooks of short stories in elementary school!
John Gilbert used to be Greta Garbo's leading man and off screen flame until sound did him in.
Watching this makes me say to myself "Kevin's finally home where he belongs"
This game gets so chaotic it should be called Kevin's mind
Finally a game that appeals to us arachnophiles
Now that's hot.
@@sirweebs2914 đ€šayoo
Notice how the turtle just walks away when defeated. Pretty sure he's not hurt at all just gives up easily.
Markiplier hasn't come back to this yet, so seeing Kevin play it? Hell yeah. Please make this a full series, even if it's just a few episodes and cut down a lot!
Iâm pretty sure Mark played this new game a while ago?
@@lorryxxxmark hasn't played in over a month
@@lorryxxx He didn't finish it despite saying that he would, he moved onto other series. Hope he brings it back soon.
He also hasn't been playing it in detail as he did for West of Loathing.
For West of Loathing he read the entirety of that Cave thingy and got all the Spitoons.
But for Shadow Over Loathing, he skipped the entire part talking with Jessica, waving it off as incoherent and weird iirc
@@donutlovingwerewolf8837 Yeah, he's missed a lot of really hilarious stuff because of skipping large dialogue segments and whatnot. It's the core of the game, I'm not sure why he's doing that. Shadows Over is a direct improvement to West Of in my eyes, so I don't understand how he *couldn't* be enjoying it! Dunno. He seemed to be enjoying it on that stream.
Kevin evolving into the Chad meme before our very eyes.
waiting for keven to make a wordplay joke and it actually be in the game
The "X of Loathing" series is so well written, I'd love to see you continue this one (it's called Shadows Over Loathing). Also, the color puzzle (15:36) was related to the colors of the rainbow (so Red = A, orange = B, yellow = C, green = D, blue = E, indigo = F, violet = G).
I watched the 2 year old west of loathing video the other day and then Kevin blessed me with 40 more minutes of stickman shenanigans and I can not be more at peace.
If Kevin liked this game, heâd probably enjoy playing the other two predecessors of this one. West of Loathing and Kingdom of Loathing. Whether you play them for your channel or on your own time, Iâd highly recommend them. Theyâll give you some of the best belly laughs.
He did play West of Loathing.
As I was watching, I was struck by how similar it was to the humor and art style of Kingdom Of Loathing. It was at that point that I searched, and saw that it was, indeed, related. I played KOL like 15 years ago, and was addicted to it for a while. :-)
The amount of times Kevin says 'what?!' Is so good
"Is there any way I can figure this out without using my brain?" Peak Kevin
Kevin always finds a way around using his brain. Its, ironically enough, the only thing he uses his brain for.
Having played West of Loathing not long ago (inspired by when Kevin played the game ages ago), I'm very down to watch Kevin play another Loathing game
Iâm so happy Kevin learned to read :â)
Stickman the third is the hero we need. đ Also that âon the houseâ joke got me. This is such a hilarious video and a great game.
the zoom in in the beginning made me SO HAPPY. what a sweet throwback
I just wanted to say that youtube would not be the same without you. Kevin you are the best youtuber ever!Hugs from Norway!! đ
Wrong, beef and chicken lasagne are both good dishes.
Kevinâs hair has gotten increasingly fancy over the last 3 videos, next time his hair will just be yellow fire
When this came out I binge played it 3 times. In a year I will play it again and remember everything
West of loathing was such an amazing game, I played it to the maximum haha, didn't try this one yet but I'm on my way
The references in this game tickle my fancies.
I just love when kevin makes that awkward stare into the camera lol like at 14:47 after he does two different reactions to finding the trapped door
I normally donât like watching people play video games but for some reason I find these videos so entertaining. Sometimes I donât even watch, I just have the video playing while I do something else as if Iâm listening to a podcast đ
brilliant video. these games are always great, and the format of this one showcased it really well! I liked that it was a bit slower so that we could see more of the "story" and enjoy more of the jokes and puzzles. Would love to see more of this game!
Seeing Kevin plays more of Loathing games makes me really happy! It's one of my fav series and I hope he'll play it again one day! ^^
This makes me miss the days of the Kingdom of Loathing. One of the best childhood memories I have.
Ikr, i even bought the KoL board game back then just cause i loved it so much
I shall rewatch this until it gets enough views to warrant a sequel! Ever since Kevin last did this game, I was hoping he would re-try it! The humor is on point for him, even if the gameplay isn't usually his thing (big walls of texts, grinding, needing to read through the dialogue to understand what to do next).
Would love to see a consistent series of this game!
I never expected Kevin to come back to this game, especially in long form content. I'm so delighted
Been super sick the past few days and I'm pretty sure the only reason I'm still going is because of kevin. Thank you good sir.
Get well soon, mate
Kevin playing any game brings me so much joy, keep up the good work!
kevin and this game go together like bread and butter
West of Loathing was the first game Iâve ever played 100% through. I then completely replayed it because I was so sad I killed Gary.
Thats Kev! Ive been down in the dumps recently and you never fail to make someone smile!
Kevin keeps changing his hair and im here for it, keep doing you kev, you look great no matter what.
The bus driver is how I feel every single day. This game looks awesome!
Kevin you should play that game where you live for an hour again. I was majorly down when I watched it and it just made me warm. It was a great video
Thank you for playing this game, Kevin! It's one of my favorites. The game before it, West of Loathing, is my favorite. They're all comedy gold!!
please play more of this!! would love to see your full playthrough of Shadows Over Loathing!!
Kevin is such a stickman genius
I used to play Kingdom of Loathing back in the day! Its so great to see they are still around making more stuff! Please play more of these games, they are great!
I really hope you keep playing this one, its a delight watching you!
I think I played an older version of this game as a flash game on a website. I love how it constantly suggests the most rediculous ideas and makes it the storyline.
West of Loathing was so much fun but I had no idea there was a second game. Iâm going to go find it right now.
I would love a full series of this game. it's fantastically hilarious
Kevin can make Even the simple concept of stickmen chaotic
Did anyone else immediately sing the Lupin the Third intro, but, "Stickman the THIIIIIIIIIRD!" lmfao
I love this game series!! I hope Kevin plays more of it sometime!
Ya know, being named Gabi,
watching this video was an interesting experience.
Had the worst couple days Iâve ever had, but then Kevin uploaded. I thank you for your service Kevin, keeping us surviving
Hope things get better for you man!
@@GusBried I appreciate that more than you know. Thank you
Hope things get better for you friend! All the positive vibes!

How are you doing now? This is a 5-month-old comment according to CZcams, so I hope things have improved within that time
A new Loathing game? That's Lovecraftian themed?!? HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS!
They just shadow dropped it three months ago.
11-11
I love this so much, please make a part 2!!!â€
PLEASE make a series off this
Iâm really enjoying this, I hope you play more Kevin!
This was definitely one of my favourite videos in the last few weeks. Love the uniqueness. Thanks Kevin!
Oh hell yes! Would love to see more of this!
I really enjoyed this play through! I would love to see more of it if you wanted to continue as a series!
Please play more of this!
SO GLAD you and this MASTERPIECE have converged!! this is the best possible timeline! I adore Loathing
This was so much fun to watch, especially the last mission!
Love this game! So fekin' funny!Would love to see you play more of it Kevin!
Sound designer of this game also worked in Where the Water Tastes Like Wine which had great songs in them
make a full series about this it suits you well :)
When Kevin missed the goofy walks in the West of Loathing game I was very sad, so these three he found make me super happy!
Loving the longer videos!
This really reminds of all the old school Flash RPGs. Got some good nostalgia.
Having played a lot of KoL, I love all the references in this game!
Kevin please play more of this I want to see more!!!!!
Kevin out here with a new fresh trim ready to play some good ol' stickman game.
Even when the game is not that interesting, Kevin always makes it fun to watch. Your hair, sir, is very on point today. Thumbs up!
The second I realized this was a Loathing game and that there were others besides Kingdom of Loathing (our favorite game in high school) I instantly had to get this
This playthrough needs to continue!
Didn't even know there was a sequel to West of Loathing haha. I loved this and it was very amusing to watch.
There's another one, Kingdom of Loathing.
10:10 that was one of the most adorable things I've ever seen.
The last time I played and finished this game I was heavily drinking. Itâs the most intense/strong emotion provoking experience Iâve ever had that I donât even remember.
I absolutely love you playing this game. It meshes with you very well
U make us laugh every vid, Ty for the best gaming vids
I played this game like 20 years ago...needless to say I didnt expect to find it here.
this game is amazing I'm glad to see another playthrough of ittt
Kevin, you missed Jim Pickens without glasses on the character selection. Top row, third one.
Hello Kevin! Iâve been subscribed for 3 years and I still love watching you! You make the best content and you always make my day!
whoa i didn't even realize they made a new loathing game
please play more of this my good man
keviiiiiin, you're making me want to play through this game a third time lmao
it also
it also makes me wanna go through West again.
Iâd love to see this continued
Seeing Kevin being blissfully unaware of the fungal flapper girl that follows him around is quite funny
The loathing series is amazing. I played West of Loathing and the humor and gameplay IS SO CLEVER AND FUNNY
Need more of this
I immediately grinned when I saw you were posting a video about Shadows Over Loathing!! It's an amazing game with a ton of content, and it's absolutely hilarious!! What a great video Kevin!
I used to play kingdom of loathing all the time, and was very happy when west of loathing came out. Shadows of loathing is even better IMO and I love the little references to west of loathing.
Kevin you should play through the entire game definitely would watch it

âMâLady. *walks* MâLady. *walks* uhhhh- not you.â
- Kevin 2023 I guess
YES! I was thinking about asking Kevin to play this!!!!
I hope to see more of this, this game has a sense of humor that I think you would like a lot.
I've seen this game before it looks pretty fun thank you for making a whole video about it
