“Texas already took over whatever state that was” is the most accurate statement that could be made by a Brit in regards to Oklahoma.
Hmm. Was the trail of tears a Texas driven thing?
@@lomiification No it has nothing to do with Texas, it was the president at the time Andrew Jackson and the 1830 Congress. Congress passed the Indian Removal Act. The act authorized the president to exchange Indian lands within existing state borders for lands west of the Mississippi. the president sent in the Army who forcefully relocated natives from Tennessee and Alabama to Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri. which is where Indian reservations stand to this day.
Oklahoma is just north Texas anyways.
@@a_disgruntled_snail please no the Oklahomans will hear you and they will get Joe exotic to come get you.
@@user-je1kz9xc8r i am an okie and joe exotic doesn’t scare me.
I see RCE truly took the British way of "hands off" by declaring hands off only to instantly go hands on.
He meant everyone else's hand off XD
Surprised he didn’t try to conquer the Middle East.
Sad Northern Irish noises, he chose GB not UK
Your wish us now 🇮🇪
What does that mean@@2dmanHelp
@@domowomo2125northern ireland is part of the uk, the republic of Ireland is not, theyve been separate since the 1920s, hes saying that northern ireland is with the republic of ireland now as in the video great britain (the uk minus northern ireland) was moved to the coast of america, and northern ireland was left behind
We can file that with the sad Alaska and sad Hawaii noises since they only use the contiguous 48 United States.
mhm
As an American watching this...I am enjoying this far more than I should.
Edit after watching: So...Texas took over everything, except Wyoming - which is pretty much just Texas - but slightly further north. Accurate.
Is it though? 🤔
Yes Texas with lots of snow
Just imagine if Little European Texas was involved.
If all the states decided to do a battle royal, Texas would probably do what it did in the video. Take all the states north to decide the country in half and then just expand outwards
This was more fun and more accurate than I thought it would be.
Britain looking like a very efficient shape today
I thought it looked like a guy sat on a toilet 😅
Came here for this… Matt loves drawing nobs
@@devbella5223inn
Love how he says GB doesnt have the technology to get across and makes a bridge right next to the boat in the water from the dock on GB
I think those are fishing boats though.
"Every single state"
The entirety of New England....
West Virginia was there in name only -- it doesn't even border North Carolina.
lmao, I saw that too, plus Alaska and Hawaii
Not the entirety, ⅓ of it is there 😅
@@singingrazors lol didn't even think about alaska and hawaii lmao
@@ImmortalAbsol trye lol
First point of unrealism - Florida Man would _never_ give up that easily.
Second point of unrealism - I don't think North Carolinians would allow a Brit into their ranks after he had just tried to conquer them.
Third point of unrealism - Texans don't have quite that thick of a drawl.
Everything else, though...fairly on-point.
florada scarres me good think im in new york
@@dragongaming479Florida scares all of us
Not a thick drawl? Ever been to Texas? Or perhaps, never left.
Ohio would take over.
As a North Carolinian, I am unsure.
That bridge earning it's score when all that Matt threw at it couldn't bring it down.
That bridge is the Bridge
Im noticing a distinct lack of actual virginia. At first i thought we might have gotten taken out before matt looked at west virginia being taken out by north carolina, but i went back and we were never on the map. Truly the worst timeline.
meh.. as an ex-Virginian, I'm ok with Virginia not being on the map. It gave the other states a fighting chance, because as much military is in VA irl, it would have been a completely different outcome, lol. That or they would just bomb the other states with pollen, either way would probably work.(I am soooo thankful to be away from the sea of pollen)
He's missing a lot of the northeastern states. They were probably too small to draw anyway, rip Rhode Island.
"he can't get sick, cause we invented medicine" 😂😂 love you Matt!
As a Kentuckian (yes that’s how you spell it) we are well known for horse racing, bourbon, obesity, and that sweet succulent fried chicken. Did you know that over 80% of all bourbon was produced in Kentucky?? Pretty cool right…Right??….
It's pretty much the chicken, mate.
The test was made in bourbon or by bourbons, I assume?
@@lomiification huh??
Don't forget Corvettes!
Isn't bourbon defined as being made in Kentucky?
“Why is Texas so big” always was 😂
Try to take a road trip from Houston to Narrvare FL. Gives you a tru scale
No Alaska is
Fun fact, the first steel bridge was made in Missouri, the eads bridge over the Mississippi cennecting St.Louis to the west, thats why it has the gateway arch.
Sorry mate, RCE said invented, not built. That means he's talking about Sir Henry Bessemer's patent in the 1850s. While we're talking about the Eads I'd also have to point out that Andrew Carnegie was born in Fife. So while the great and mighty James Eads might have the record, it was based on an English invention and built by a Scotsman. But hey, that's all water under the bridge...
... yes that whole thing was just a laboured effort to get that pun in. ;)
It’s always funny hearing a british guy try to say arkansas, didn’t expect arkansauce though
Actually, he said "Arkansas'" because he added an 's to the end to indicate possession
Shouldn't it be Ar-kan-saw and Kan-saw, or Kan-sas and Ar-kan-sas?😃
@@tartu2583 If I recall correctly, the etymology for Arkansas and Kansas are actually unrelated. Them being so similar in spelling is just a coincidence, albeit a really confusing one.
@@tartu2583arkansaw and Kansus
they did florida dirty with that panhandle circumcision
it be looking a little... floppy?
Why am I not surprised that Texas won
Don't mess with Texas
I think it's all the inbreeding. Keeping that population high.
proud texan noises
Simple really. No brains only brawns. lmao
You spoiled it😢
That bridge is so wonky, it must have been made by an architect.
I'm surprised my state lasted so long, R.I.P Colorado
We kept out of it till we were attacked.
We should have cut off their water supply. To Texas and Kentucky (after they took the whole Great Plains) especially.
We have more than snowboard slopes Matt, we have THE WATER!
As a Texan, I can confirm that RCE's impression of us at the end is 100% accurate.
Also I was way too happy to see Texas win.
"Why is Texas so big?" Because... everything is big in Texas.
Counterpoint: you were not nearly happy enough to see Texas win.
@@Grey_Duck Dang, got me there.
Brits taking Georgia, whose name came from King George II of England, seems almost poetic
Some of the state shapes are comically off
It's like whoever drew that US map did so from memory after seeing it once on a diner placemat as a child
The UP isn't even in the right state
Despite RCE meddling probably historically accurate that Texans would be this aggressive. Also, was that the RCE version of Brexit?
Aggressive? No no, Competent.
Considering they're the only US state to fight TWO wars for the right to own people as property, I agree.
Insert "How many times do we need to teach you this lesson old man" meme
Matt doing what a large number of politicians would like to happen
the end of USA? yes pleaseeee
As a native Texan, I can confirm this is indeed the sentiment that has been going around for a while
@@KoriNicole I just ask that you guys wait until I can move down there to help the *right* state when it all kicks off.
Yup. Nigel Farage simulator.
You’re saying Nevada wrong. As an ex resident of that shitty state I salute you!
during the bridge reveiw I noticed how britains populatrion grew from 30 to 102 and couldn't stop laughing.
Funny that the last bit of America you held on to was New England
So as an American, what I took from this is even direct divine intervention can not lead Britain to victory over America. Seems legit! :D
They’re no longer the British Isles, they’re the British Peninsula.
It is fitting that the greatest menace to the British is our texasbenders. They bend propane and propane accessories.
As someone who has lived in Kansas, Missouri, and Iowa.. the only thing that surprised me was that Kansas and Missouri didn't have a go at each other.
Historically speaking, you'd really expect it. Kansas would win though and finally take ALL of KC
Texas is omni man when he yelled "look at what they need for a fraction of your power" and honestly thats cannon
These states are too peaceful….
Wow. Who would've thought your genius tactic of doing absolutely nothing while watching your opponents take over everything wouldn't work?
I love how unbiased this experiment is
Matt: Okay, I'm not going to mess with this anymore.
Matt: proceedes to me with it a LOT more
not every state was added. forgot hawaii and alaska
As an American none of this surprises me. This seems like the most realistic simulator ever.
"A couple [trees] up north" places trees in nottinghamshire
Matt: goes on about KFC
Also Matt: Why are there so many farmers in Kentucky?
Did Wisconsin annex the upper peninsula of Michigan?! (before the time even started that is)
Me as a New Jersey kid being very 😢
IRL if you tried this in real life and invaded the Southern States you would hear dueling banjos and immediately no longer exist no matter how large you're invading forces is the slim chance you have is by using nukes
What song did you use in the bridge review
You made "East Florida" .. lol
It's like whoever drew that US map did so from memory after seeing it once on a diner placemat as a child
The true british "hands off". Staying hands off until you get bored or feel threatened
GB in that location is gonna suffer hard come hurricane season..
are you telling me texans learned how to survive temps below freezing?
0:52 looks like somone sitting down sad, lonley (average brit moment) 😂
This looks like a drunk geographer tried to draw the US from memory 😂
As an Oregonion (probably also speak for the rest of the USA) I am offended that they made Idaho so big 🙄
Matt English is my primary language “conqueror” that took me 10 minutes to figure out lmao so glad I not the only one that struggles with certain words
The borders dude😭 why does North Dakota have the northwest angle
Should have made it "fair" and Split GB as Scotland, Wales, and England, see who triumphs over that and then they can retake New England
11 minutes this feels illegal, Keep up the amazing work Matt!
Matt is a Architect.
Historical irony in the first target for the British being the state named after King George II?
As a Wisconsinite, I totally approve of the ownership of the Upper Peninsula in the opening state of the map.
Though I am sad about how quickly we were taken over by Minnesota.
"Don't mess with Texas." 🤣
as an American THIS AMARICA IS MISSING ALASKA AND HAWAII
historically accurate
As a North Carolinian, I feel very proud that we "took over Britain"
As a Mississippian I for one am shocked at our roll over and die mentality.. love the content!
Scale-wise you're about 50% too small :)
What happened was Minnesota took over most of Michigan and lost the home state to Texas
Omg, the British y'all at the end was adorable, also I believe Wyoming stayed safe cause there's absolutely nothing in Wyoming but emptiness, lol.
love how Indiana is called Indiana jones
No way GB can win this, y'all tried once and we threw a big tea party for you for the effort.
They tried twice. Third time is the charm?
As a Texan, this is an accurate rendition of how Texas takes over the US and allying with Wyoming.
Matt’s Texas accent will grant him a seat at the engineering table. We need mega highways and superior drainage for the United State of Texas
Moving Great Brittle, impersonating spiff, sounds like you got a case of the coffees.
0:21 absolutely
That is a beautiful picture of Britain Matt, top work, fellow engineer here appreciates that👍
I mean, this is pretty accurate. It WOULD take divine intervention for any of this to happen, afterall.
0:20 no comrade it is mother Russia
so proud of Colorado for staying independent for so long 🫡
Id say rerun but his time include the major mountains and rivers
It really would be Nevada against Texas in the end. Chaotic Evil against Lawful Evil and both sides would have more guns than all of the EU combined lol
Oh lord, he's engineering the US now!
3:29 it’s not nighttime it’s actually age of dark, you can disable it in the age settings, each age has their own buffs and/or debuffs
5:45 i love having little cute stone bridges in my custom maps made for videos, most of the time I just randomly mess around
9:31 nations I think can only declare war on like neighboring kingdoms
anyone else notice Bad Britian went from 30 to 106 with one edit, very interesting.
20:50 of course
11:14 bruh RCE should just give them all demi god or something at this point 💀 like wtf
"Texan Matt doesn't exist He will not hurt you"
Texan Matt: 21:55
I love how New Great Britian was the original 13 colonies after taking Maine
Perhaps Great Britain invented steel bridges, perhaps not. I do not know. But I do know that the first ALL-steel bridge was built very near where I live, in Glasgow, Missouri. Look up the Glasgow Railroad Bridge. It was built in 1879 but rebuilt in 1900.
Glasgowsin the Uk aswell why steal our names
They're good names.
Also the people naming them were sometimes European or at least of European heritage. No sense spending all that time coming up with new names when you already know lots of good ones.
The GB plot armor was crazy
Historically accurate. I remember being taught this in school.
Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire got clumped together as Vermont!? What is the logic of this game???
7:11 “they are destroying the natives”
Little bit too lore accurate
Kentucky is also famous for horse race. (Kentucky Derby)
"New Great Britain" but is literally the 13 Colonies
Kentucky was where the Colonel started selling his chicken... But the first KFC was in Utah
Wow the UK is the strongest shape that’s so cool
Washington at the beggining was me when I don't understand
this was the most hands-on hands-off video i have ever seen
I never realized Great Britian was the strongest shape
The British would probably all die off with how much further south it is now.
Matt didnt even notice Pennsylvania being wiped out😢
