I actually really think game is super cool! It is also super fun to watch! I would love to see more! I also like how youcan replace the towers and recieve 100% of the resources back, I think it would be brutal if you could not
Mat definitely needed to make the top level turrets mini guns since they work best when there is swarms that have high health

We had a meeting at work today discussing utilization of space at our hospital. The lady leading the discussion mildly blasted architects for wasting space with an atrium 🤣

I'd love vod versions of these. A second channel where it's just the unedited versions of everything to listen to while doing something else. I don't care if it's three hours of footage, I once binged an eight+ hour vod over the course of two or three days.
A tip pn the bugs underground you can destroy the tile to prevent for them to emerge and kills them and also always destroy the egg tiles

Scavanger simulator: Steal all the resources murder the locals and destroy the planet.
It is safe to assume that if the "giant bugs" are intelligent as they are capable of forming stronger and stronger raid groups to try to take down the clear threat to their planet, considering they start attacking right away its likely they have hear word from other near by planets of these scavengers who destroy worlds so they gather forces as quickly as they can when they realize they are the next target. a game where you truly are the villan fun! we need to get matpat on the sick LORE of this game

This game reminds me a lot of Steamworld Dig. Very different mechanics, but the concept of "dig, and try not to piss off the creatures lurking in the soil" is fairly similar.

It's completely different only the "days" are the same
There's way more things that are different in this game than things that are the same as dome keeper
I mean with this mindset this is basically plants vs zombies but vertical kinda hehe :)

It’s somewhat like an 8-bit version of Deep Rock Galactic. Levels are also procedurally generated, dwarves, danger, and darkness.
Would love to see another installment of this, it feels like a game with a long learning curve!

Yeah he’s obsessed with fireworks/mortars but they weren’t even managing to kill all the low health enemies and barely touching the high health enemies

I think the laser watchtowers aren't that useful, as they shoot only in a straight line directly up. Drones, however, seek out enemies. I'd have gone for two of those as permanent fixtures. That way, I wouldn't have to worry about placement.
I'd also have deleted the free turrets and replaced those with laser turrets.
One Day, Architect and Engineer will be a team, we don't know when, but it is somewhere in the future
It will be the day RCE accepts he's actually an Architect.
They are a team as long as engineers know their place. Upitty engineers think they're architect equals.

The bugs spawn out of blocks with a red dot in the middle. If you mine them before the bug breaks out it is destroyed.

I was able to get into the playtest. I'm not sure if they updated it after you checked or if you just didn't scroll down far enough!
@@drewhickcox4611Scrolling further only brings you to description and reviews (are you unused to steams store layout?). All I had was a "request access" button (which isn't entering a playtest, as it only _requests_ doing so) where it was meant to say "download demo".
