At $105 US this is the cheapest all in one product to get someone started in the atgames ecosystem but is it a good value? I got the intec fight stick so my arcade1up is hooked up with switch and super console x, I'm wondering if I could hook up this legends core instead of super console x and use that with coinopsx on the intec fight stick. it should work right?

Can you connect the core to the ultimate cab and use the cab's control deck? I ask because I would want to use the core to run coinops on my cab to utilize the extra horse power. Coinops is slow just using a usb on the ultimate cab
I have the full legends cabinet but some of my SNES ROMs need a select button and I haven't figured that one out yet. I'm not a computer wiz but this looks pretty simple and looks like it has a select button already, can you confirm that the select button works on this? Also, can I take the USB full of ROMs from my cabinet and use it on this without changing anything?

Hey Michael B., too much about the controller and not enough about the system... in particular, what happened to the part you teased about adding your own games as an alternative to the Pi and other retro systems? You kinda suggested that and then left us hanging other than mentioning cost and ease of use (but no real detail about why it's better or worse in these areas than the alternatives). Maybe that's more than you wanted to get into, but I'd have enjoyed a lot less about the trash controller, and more info about what games are on the system, what you get with an ArcadeNet subscription, how easy it is to add games, etc.
They are releasing it in Brazil and I liked your review. I will probably buy one here, as I'm not that demanding with retro, I just wanna feel the nostalgia and have some fun and relax 🎮🕹️👾 Tectoy is bringing it!

Can it run Sega Rally, with the same quality and speed as the Saturn? If yes, I will want to buy one, because my Saturn is dead and I could put that AT console inside of it.

The biggest flaw of these products (that no one noticed or says in the review); is that you need to be logged into an at games account and be connected to the internet , in order to use coin ops X or to play the games you add to this . Seems invasive and it's DRM for games you add.

What is the hardware of this legends core?
I can't find any kind of hardware specification on it, it has the characteristics of a rapsberry py or android tv box with a custom retroarch, but I can't find anything on the manufacturer's website.
I don't even know which cpu or gpu it is!

The Core could of been so much more like the Pi with it's universal compatibility of various controllers and Zero delay controllers. It's sad Atgames till this day having compatibility issue with third party game pad and no zero delay controller. I think they just gave up on it. This is the reason why The CORE and The Legends Connect is not Mod of choice. Also, didn't mention that they still can't get 4:3 screen ratio to work which is what these games were meant for.

Does the core plus do anything differently than the regular core?... Can you do PS3 emulator now?.. Maybe even PS2 emulation?..I have a regular core what would make me buy this? Unless they're gonna discontinue the old core.. Plus no one that does atgames reviews EVER talk about what it can ACTUALLY EMULATE, yet the sole purpose of this thing is emulation... Seems confusing and oversaturation of the same general product... At least A1up gives us something pretty to look at🤦🏿♂️
Hello Chosen One. This review is not to be confused with the legends core MAX. That device will be available further in the future. This is the same puck that's been out for a year+ but it's being bundles with the Legends Gamepad.

An interesting product if you want to get into the Atgames ecosystem. Personally, I'll stick to their actual arcade products.
