    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  Před 3 lety +1

      I read directionally but it's always as a secondary method. Where the cards fall is the only thing that's completely random. I can't change the image on the cards, so anything I see in the image will be secondary to the positions of the cards. In this case, I did notice that 29 was looking back and 28 was looking ahead. That inferred that she was clinging to the past and he was moving on.

    Wow so informative, Lisa If it’s a relationship GT for a female querent who is having issues with her partner, if we want to find out if there is any other female in her partner life, in that case can the of snake card give us the confirmation about it, if so how?

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  Před 3 lety +1

      The Snake card on its own doesn't mean another woman. It's primarily a card of twists and turns and complications. Secondarily, it's a card of treachery, lies, and jealousy. It can represent SOMETHING that betrays you as easily as SOMEONE. Sometimes we betray ourselves. This is the danger of pigeonholing cards. You need the placements of the cards - the proximity and the groupings - to tell you the entire story. In this video, I chose the Snake as a significator card so I told it that it was representing the new woman.

    Thanks Lisa, there was great info there. How do you view the last 4 cards in a 8x4+4?. As advice, something that the client has no control over? I'm always confused as to how to view them. Thanks.

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  Před 3 lety +3

      I initially tried reading it as I was taught, but it never worked for me. I could never see it as something that is fated or out of your control because I don't believe that exists. I made sense of it by thinking of it in two ways: 1. it's all the way at the bottom so all the cards are weighing on it, so it's being impacted by everything else that happens - every decision that's made - every turn you make will impact it. 2. it's literally the bottom line making it a summation of the entire story. Think about the houses - finding the solution, bringing in abundance, reaching your goal, and the burdens you'll have to tackle (33-36). Those houses really do represent the bottom line!

    I asked the same question and the woman and the man we're next to each other at the end.
    Woman staring at the non existent past (it's at the very end on the left) man looking at the future. 29 next to 28. Damn
    I'm looking at the past he's looking at the future

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  Před 3 lety

      You'd better turn around and join him in the future. The past is over. 😘Seriously, unless you specifically set an intention to read for the past, present, and future, GTs are intended to show you what's going on now into a predetermined period of time into the future. You're not looking at the past, you're looking at him. Unless you turn the card upside down, no matter where #29 falls, she's looking to the left. What matters is what she's looking at. Traditional GTs didn't include the past and I don't either. It's simply what's already in existence.

  • @tesimpamonami9188

    Hi Lisa, so for her the Snake represent the other Woman, But if I was an inverse situation, Him looking for whom is with her would it be the Rider or the Dog? Which one? Thanks

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  Před 2 lety +1

      The Snake is the general card of deceit and if touched by any "people" cards (court insets, the Garden, or the Rider), it can refer to a deceitful person of either gender. I preselected the Snake for this reading and if I were doing the same for the situation you describe, I'd choose the Rider. I wouldn't choose the Dog because it's the card of loyalty.

      Many decks now include extra people cards and some even include other extra cards. The extras are so you can choose which ones you want to use depending on who you're reading for. #28 and 29 may be looking in different directions or may be of different races. When there's more than one Child, it's usually one girl and one boy. Just choose one of each for your readings. Using extra cards in a GT is covered in my book on page 396, "Tips and Steps for Using Extra Cards".

    Hi Lisa and thank you for this very informative video. I tried to do my own spread in the same way.
    I have one quick question I was not sure of: When asking if woman(house of anchor) and man(house of cross) will get back into a relationship with each other. And I do have the man and woman card right next to each other (but they are back to back, not faced towards each other) is that still a good sign? The ring card was in house of dog and heart in house of garden. I am still new to houses, but at least those cards did not land on negative houses. Would this hint as 'yes'?
    And I also tried to ask in another attempt: when / if someone will be initiating communication. And I found many points that made it confusing...that I could not find out the answer. (Such as, even if it shows communication, then from who and when? And how would you know if there is other people involved/influencing the situation or not?) In the future, do you think you could make a video to teach about how to ask this question in a GT spread please? :)

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  Před 3 lety +1

      First, the spread can only have one primary significator, so the question is either for the woman or the man. If for the woman, you can ask to see the future regarding a relationship with X. Then, you'll know that all the cards pertain to her. I'd have to see the entire spread to know what the story is. The two people back to back are showing that they're still connected but aren't sharing anything. It could mean many different things. Heart in Garden says the heart is focused on others and Ring in Dog says that there's loyalty to a bond, there's support and commitment there, but that doesn't mean that they'll get back together. As for the communication card, #27, in a spread that's read left to right, the Letter will be to the left (behind) a person card if the communication is coming from them and to the right of them (in front of) if it's coming to them. So, if you have Man-Letter-Woman, the communication is coming from her and going to him. Your question is perfectly timed because I'm filming a Petit Tableau on determining the future of a broken relationship! Should be ready tomorrow.

    • @WarmBunny
      @WarmBunny Před 3 lety

      @@lisaloveslenormand6357 Hi Lisa and thank you for your reply. The spread is for a woman, so it will be the main significator. I am a little lost of where the future is. Since in books I have read, it says 'the direction significator is facing', in other books it says 'on the right side' (regardless character facing). In your example in the video, it looks like the future is on the right side.
      I noted that positive cards are surrounding both the man and woman since they are next to each other. The cross is near, which you said in the video, difficulties will be short. I think the answer shows yes, (for a future relationship) but I am not 100% sure.
      If want (and have time) then here is a picture of my spread.
      prnt.sc/141p0ke
      I very much look forward to your new videos. I love when you make different examples for GT (reading different topics)
      They are extremely helpful. ^^

      @lisaloveslenormand6357  Před 3 lety

      @@WarmBunny In my book, I state that the direction you read in is entirely up to you, so I'm guessing you're referring to other books. Links for my book are in the description box above (click, "show more"). I always read left to right, regardless of the direction the PSC faces. I hate reading right to left and many modern decks show no direction at all, so it makes things simple. Next, if you're asking a future question, such as, "will he come back to me?", the entire spread is showing the future. The Cross above her head shows sorrow and hardship weighing down on her and regarding him as he lands in Cross. I've adopted the short duration meaning from the MOD, but that's something that you have to establish with the cards. Regardless, the pain from broken relationships never lasts forever, so no matter what, we could say that she'll get over it. I don't see an obvious answer in your spread. You've got a lot of dead ends. What I do see is a future friendship between the two. The Ship is heading for Bouquet, Dog in Bouquet, Ring in Dog, Book in Ring, Cross in Book links to Man in Cross. Heart in Garden and Rider in Heart leads me to think that she'll be loving someone new. I believe that because you're not clear on your method yet, the cards aren't sure how to fall for you. This is why it's imperative to establish your primary vibes and reading methods before starting. I think you'll LOVE the next video and it should be a nice, easy method for you to use for this type of question.

      @@lisaloveslenormand6357 Thank you for your input regarding my spread. :) I actually ordered the book you wrote, it will take another month for it to arrive...I am excited to read it once I get it.
      I always found it confusing with knowing which side is the future. But if it can be concluded as 'right side' despite where it faces, then it makes it all easier. :)
      It is interesting that it is showing friendship as progress tho.
      I don't know how far (time) GT spreads usually show. In this example, does it mean the next stage is friendship in near future with still possibility for a relationship, or would it imply that the connection is forever stuck in friendship stage?

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  Před 3 lety

      @@WarmBunny You need to decide on a time frame for the spread before you lay it. Because you laid the cards without establishing any guidelines, I think you should simply discard the spread and lay another once you've gotten clear on how you'll be reading the cards. I'm guessing you're new to GTs, yes? Are you comfortable with box spreads yet?

  • @carinesanders-slock2027

    Hi Lisa, i have a question on journaling. How much information do you write down? Do you take a picture of the spread or is there a different method to do it more sufficiently?

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  Před 3 lety +1

      Great question, Carine! I always take pictures of the spreads for others or GTs for myself. For small spreads, I just write the names, positions, and any directions or court insets in the journal. I use google docs or a scratch pad to initially brainstorm what I see in a spread. In the journal, I record the final message and maybe notes on how I got there. Write as much as you want or feel is important. You'll appreciate your efforts later!
