Just saw this premiere in NYC with the director and cast members. The best word that comes to mind is “Astonishing!” It’s like living through a movie generated inside an 1800’s video game… if only they had had video games in the 1800’s. Very clever storytelling too! Go see for yourself!

Saw it last night and it might be the best pure slapstick/sight-gag film I've ever seen. It's pure sensory overload, non-stop joke after joke. Borderline exhausting. The crowd I saw it with was going bonkers! Absolutely incredible film.

This was probably the most insane movie i've ever had the privilage of seeing. I need to know what these guys were on while they came up with the idea.

there was one scene in lake michigan monster (another movie this director well, directed) where his pupils were so dilated, so im thinking lsd. plus acting on acid sounds fun lol

Easily the most fun I’ve had in theaters. Saw it last night. Ten thumbs up. It’s clean enough we’re gonna have our 8 year old see it when it comes out.

@@britflicks Loved the performances, the physical comedy, the style, the humour, editing, music. Hundreds of Beavers is a hilarious and highly entertaining work of art and I adore it, especially since I went into the screening completely blind. Hadn't seen any trailers or read any reviews; it was pure word of mouth from my friends that got me to see it, and currently it is my second favourite film of this year right behind Poor Things.

This heaven-sent movie is so much better than the preview implies. The pacing and storytelling are a huge part of its charm, none of which is conveyed in this format. See it with a live audience if you can, and you’ll laugh from start to finish!

By far the silliest movie I've every seen. Very entertaining though, but you need to give it a bit of time to get going. The set up is worth it.

There is one line of dialogue in the movie, and it's delivered through text cards. That being said, I wouldn't call it a *silent* film, when a lot of the jokes are punctuated with sound effects or music choices, but your husband would probably still really enjoy it! It's absolutely fantastic.

It’s almost no audible dialogue with vocal sounds, but a deaf person would almost definitely be able to understand most of it without captions-it’s so visual and visceral and silly. The only actual lines of dialogue are cue cards à la silent film.

Saw this movie last week in New York. It one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time, and does a better job honoring that classic Looney Tunes spirit than the folks at Warner Bros rn.

There was a show in Toronto in Early Jan with the director, star and Beavers, alas not return date at this time, did just play Kitchener. Sorry it plays a LOT in BC
