Harvey has worked in the concrete industry for a long time, but this was his first time using the ScreeDemon battery power screed.
See how he did screeding this concrete floor and let me know if you think you could use this to screed concrete.
The ScreeDemon vibratory screed is one of our favorite tools to install concrete floors.
It's lightweight, easy to operate, and easy to teach someone how to use it like we use it.
If you're interested, there's a link below to check it out and purchase it.
Also, if you want to learn how to pour and finish concrete as we do, check out The Concrete Underground link below for my training videos.

I recently used the m18 screedemon for the 1st time. Issue I had was with the slump of the concrete. I really like how you use the plasticizer in there rather than just dumping more water in. Having two great guys on rakes really makes the process go smoothly. Thanks for the instructional videos.

Hi Mike, not sure if you covered this in any recent videos, I am looking for info on what and when a vibrating screed vs a roller screed should be used? I am a diy'r and have a few flat pieces of concrete that need to be poured. very interested on getting a roller or vibrating power screed just would like to know your thoughts on the 2. thanks for your time

I just watched a video where they were spreading Portland cement mix and premixed over a gravel driveway and spreading it with a broom. Then they wet it expecting it to hold the gravel together. What is your opinion of this?

A little hesitant but hell get used to it, but did an excellent job. Just looks funny usually you or one of the other two is doing it. Teach is best method now you have a third and you can sit in the truck drinking coffee and watching them do it lol

I’m just a diesel mechanic who pours a little concrete on the weekend. I’ve got a stupid question for the pros. I have an old half yard mixer that some one gave me. Four cylinder Wisconsin engine on it. It has the winch on it that pulls the tub up and fills the drum. I try to keep the pours small because I do it by myself. Normaly about 8’x16’ at a time. It’s for my machine shop. Here’s the question. Is that power trowel just floating on the concrete? I don’t see any screed boards holding it up. I drag a 2x4 on top of my forms to level it out. Can someone explain what keeps that power trowel level?

Looked too easy. He needs to up the game and use it with his feet while walking on his hands.
