Dude I watched the first game before work and and watched the end of it after work lol
I stopped watching after the 1st OT but then right when I came back at the 5th OT, they scored!
I was at work, working the front desk at a hotel. By the time 5OT rolled around I got all my check-ins done so I turned on the security cameras and hid in our office so I could watch the game in peace but still have an eye on the front desk. Pretty sure the second and third floor hotel rooms could hear me yell when we finally scored, I was so pumped after what happened last year. Deep down I thought if they win then good for the bolts, but if they lose, it might be a sweep again. I feel like their confidence and mental strength really grew from series to series and you can see it with their attitudes on the ice. Love it boys, go bolts!

Probably one of the most stacked teams in NHL History to win it, I think I saw only 1 or 2 games where they looked like the worse team. About 98% of the time they dominated, what a freaking run and redemption from last year, congrats Tampa. Also thanks for getting Coleman the cup

Granted, they did bring in a decent share of new players but as a fan (and a natural pessimist, lol) I never thought after as many collapses that core group has had since they got swept way back in 2014 that they'd ever get over the hump.

@@Danny9 Coming back a couple of years later... not your fault, man. I was more upset at NBC, but looking back, it's cool to spend some time on the team that just lost because the other team has more coverage to come.
It felt so sweet eliminating the Blue Jackets in OT after the debacle we had the year before. This team was hungry!
Well, that was a long season... I think Lightning wants to become Back to Back Champs like Penguins did in 2016 & 2017...

Good job on the lightning 100% deserved and anybody who says otherwise is salty there teams got shit on in the playoffs. 4-1 against the blue jackets, 4-1 against bruins, 4-2 against the islanders, 4-2 against the stars definitely deserved. Not only that but scored over 5 goals in at least one game in each series

Lil question what is round robin?
It was only used in 2020 and the top 4 teams in each conference would play 3 games, one against each top team in their conference. They were guaranteed a spot in the playoffs, unlike the play-in round teams. The round Robin games had typical regular season rules, with 5 minute overtime and shootouts.
I wonder if teams will be traumatized by that Edmonton horn in the future

Point was a strong candidate for sure, but Hedman was amazing. He had 10 goals as a defence man and he played very well. Also it seemed he was constantly out playing because of his constant impact
Doc was tough to listen to this year. Loved the guy but it was definitely time to retire
Agreed. Doc is one of my favorite announcers and an all-time legend. His voice sounded like it was starting to give out and didn't sound as strong as before.

Feel bad for Columbus. They poured their heart and soul in game 1. Can’t blame their 44 for being hurt.
I am glad and love this but I am going to put not interested because it makes me sick on their crappy performance this season. They tend to depend too much on to their main goalie.
