What did you get out of your FREE 8 Apex packs? Anything good?

Pretty much nothing, I didn't get any legendary just 2 epic holo sprays and a bunch of random rare skins and banners
I’m saving up all my packs. I’m waiting for the apex pack update before I open any of them! I currently have 78 packs. I’m confident that if I opened them now it would be a waste.. Im going to wait out the storm and see what happens.

Thats just THE tactic. Shit in Canada we have a monopoly problem in a few sectors. Our telecoms are owned by 2 providers who cause canada to be ranked in the top 5 or so of most expensive telecoms in the world and our super markets are owned by like 2-3 giants. During covid one of em called loblaws was charging more and more and more for food, people complained and they came out and said that it was the farmers charging more for produce, then the farmers came out and said no they do not. Evnetually shit was pushed up to the government to which they did nothing to punish Loblaws, instead they gave everyone something like 75$ food voucher to make up for it.. food has only increased more since then but just like this, the 75$ got everyone all excited for free money that they stopped complaining about these companies milking customers lol.

100% agree 25 rings is excessive and definitely discourages you. I had the same problem with the apex pack all bunch of common quips.

Don't worry, they won't give us something good with them, all I managed to get is some common and rare skins with 25 crafting metals which might the only useful thing
Was begrudgingly grinding out the Legend Challenges but saw 25 ring closing on Loba and just said nope..im done.
Still missing all the legend unlocks I've compleated, 8 packs doesn't fix it. Nor does it make up for all the cheating going on.
I said this at the start of the season with the zone challenges needing to make zone 1 faster and nerfing storm damage

I agree, when I started in season 12 battlepass felt easy to do if you played on a daily basis, I would say after season 15 it started to feel like a chore, specially if the matchmaking kept pairing me with lvl20 players to play against masters 3 stacks, my randoms can't even make it past the first squad in those lobbies...
took me 720 levels to get my first heirloom so i got another 720 levels till i mite get another one
The only epic I got from the 8 packs is 200 crafting materials. I had 1.5k before, so I crafted a shadow society pack. And it turned out to be an epic holo. Guess I should have just crafted a legendary skin for my main.
With Mad Maggie it was fun to play and i did those "survive ring " quest just by playing ... but with rampart, when i was nearing the end, i had to rat ( on duos, no fill, on stormpoint, drop on the remote spot, gather heals and hide until i survived the 3rd ring .. then i will go in the ring and die ) . I know it wasn't the best thing to do .. but Rampart for me is no fun so i had to do the challenges and be done playing her . With the free packs i only got blue and white ( weapon skins, legend skins, banners, poses, trakers, materials, etc )
lets be honest, the battle pass is crazy easy to complete. u don't have to go for a single challenge but if u play a decent amount you will complete it. a lot better than the other games that make battle passes a part time job
I agree. One time during season 11, I couldn't play until halfway through the season and I completed the battlepass on accident by just normally playing the game.
Had a new bug experience earlier today. Tried going into the firing range and got some error code 5 times in a row and then finally was able to get into the firing range. Just had to try a few times
tbf just playing any mode will get you the BP, I don't specifically do any of the challenges except for LTM stuff
I got three gold items in my 8 packs. Two were banner frames and 1 was gold shards (which I always thought was crap because the gold shards aren’t enough for an actual gold item?? Wtf haha)
i had the infinate menu screen loading bug in 1 of the splits season 8, half way through season 9, for 2 weeks in season 10 which made me miss out on so much stuff, 1 example is the original wraith stat tracking set which is the thing im most upset about as lets be honest all the other wraith stat tracking sets are ugly and i guess im just forever not getting the things i missed out on, ive never had the bug since but it still sucks i missed out on things i wanted

Yeah the "layered" update for Destroyer2009 was to "layer" a twitter post on it and then just delete or hide any other questions about it from all official communication channels
Honestly only doing these challenges for the wraith skin, i literally was shocked for the ring closing with maggie and then when i logged on yesterday and saw 25 i actually wanted to destroy my controller😃😃
The 8 packs for me were glitching out, at one point I had task manager force close as a pack froze my game

Why all my Legends challenges for the faltline skin just reseted? I did every single one challenge and now i have none of them
love getting two whites and one blue 7 times and then getting one whole epic on the last pack, big epic thank Respawn
Shooter games being cheater infested is the nature of it. Kernel level anti cheat is really dumb and over invasive. I'd rather not play apex(given how horrible the games been for the last at least 10 seasons) than have kernel level anti cheats for every shooter I have
Only thing out of the challenges I finish yesterday was the damage. As others said 10 rings is fine but 25? I'll have to end my grind for the flatline skin 😆. It was fun when it lasted.

I can’t Wait for valk challenges being 30 ring closings and only having 2 weeks to complete it! No but for real i already completed the entire pass and have played 150 hours+ this season. I can’t play ranked since even in plat lobbies there are a lot of cheaters, so i pretty much have nothing to work towards atleast until the rest of the flatline challenges release. Good job Respawn! Let me buy 4 more heirlooms next season too💀
Not sure if the Breakout Challenges are still tracking correctly. I had squad mates looting from my Black Market in Lockdown and didn't get any progress for it. I agree that the ring closing challenge is BS but I also think that challenges that rely on your squad for you to progress is BS as well. With the Mad Maggie challenge of thanking squad mates - First, Mad Maggie is not the type to thank people; second, I have thanked multiple squad mates but it appears that you can only thank 1 squad mate 1 once a game based off the progress I am making. How is this a challenge? I can see how surviving rings is a challenge - but this second challenge is not an appropriate challenge. Challenging in and of itself, sure; but, has nothing to do with skill.
i think is good on that part with mission, 25 ring isnt that much if u play on rank, 20 min game and if u play for spot etc, u made easily, dont forget u have 2 weeks to complete, now dont sound that hard how he look right ? :D ,i dont take defense of apex, they want just money, but in this part with legend mission on flatline is good in my opinion

I was ratting for the ring challenge. The funny thing was fighting 2 other lobas on the very last ring after i saw that there are 6 squats left 💀
I got a full on pink fuse skin and Didn’t think of it tried to find it after a couple games and I guess I was tripping
Imagine if hackers got ahold of electronic vehicles or flight traffic control. Honestly we are lucky it’s in a playful industry of gaming, with that being said it is a huge issue that baffles me of the lack of agency game companies have over their own product
My guess is that’s what they’re gonna start doing when you get a mythic for an heirloom you’re gonna get one out of the three you need to make you have to open up more packs

i opend one of the 8 packs and got my 3ed hierloom thanks EA/Respawn
The solution to log in when you have that issue 3:02 is to change language on your console to English UK for some reason, worked for me and Apex is up and running again.

Personally in my opinion yes the ring closings are way too much but it ain’t that hard especially grinding ranked I’ve been gettin em done pretty easily without ratting and just playin smart and normal in general but nah this season is doodoo 😂😭

The ring closings is easily the dumbest and most annoying challenge of all of them!! I will get it done on each of my accounts. But the last few days I’ve been on Destiny 2 like crazy! They just came out with a banger of an update!!
the best thing I won was 200 crafting metals, but I already had won that before they fking rolled back the servers. (I lost 200 crafting materials and a legendary valk skin)
Honestly I don't mind how hard the challenges are as long as the rewards are like this.

As someone whos played from S2 I actually cannot believe the state of the game. So much that i've picked up the game I spent 120 dollars on and is now free. (Destiny 2) As I've heard they've won their community over a bit since launch.

There is an AI that detects even the slightest cheat, but apparently no company wants it. I don’t remember/know all the details but hey.
