I had a teacher who hated me for no reason, several actually but one I won't forget was a grade school teacher, let's call her birch, she was rude, gave me detentions for simply talking back to her or using the word technically, encouraged the whole class to pick on me, didn't help at all with bullies, didn't help me on my tests when I needed it, turned other nice teachers against me, and because I was too meek I didn't report the abuse. Birch, wherever you are I didn't forget, and I hope you know I won't forgive.

I always love stories that involve a woman going into "mama bear" mode. Cause that's what my mom was like. If she ever found out that a teacher was being rude or disrespectful to her kids or the school board was trying to pass some weird bs that would limit her kid's freedoms, try and overstep my parent's authority, or single her kids out in any way she would get ready to fight...sometimes physically. My little brother and sister hated when she'd do this because they were both just shy and didn't want to draw attention to themselves. Me, on the other hand, I loved it. The public school system has always been corrupt and kids have always been treated like they're not really citizens. I even had teachers tell me that I didn't have any constitutional rights until i was old enough to vote. Which my mom and my dad were both very quick to point out how wrong that idea was.
My parents were the opposite when I was being bullied, often just telling me to suck it up. Unlike them - I am going to be fiercely protective of my kids (within reason - if they are being bad, they will get an appropriate punishment for the crime. But if they are getting bullied, I will move heaven and earth to ensure it never happens to them again.). No child should ever be bullied.

Mother is irreplaceable, no one can replace her. You can try your best, but you will only have a 0% chance of succeeding. It is impossible for anyone to replace a mother.

Story 3: Yeah... your dad was definitely cheating on your mom with his now wife, and was probably doing it for a good while. I would say he obviously didn't have anything to do with your mom's death, but he and the side piece were definitely waiting with glee for the moment.
*Story 1:* That's crazy! Just because she doesn't like a particular student? What kind of fucked up reason is that? I would think that there'd be a reason why a person doesn't like another person. That's bullshit! You're trying to do good in classes, but a teacher fails you anyway? What?! Why?! 😡
From the sound of it the grade was because of her grading people as a group, rather than targeting just her. Note how it says the teacher had to change other grades too
@@hilaryhongkong There's nothing inherently wrong with theatre as a class, I loved anything that had to do with reading, writing, and music. Generally it's the teacher that makes an experience awesome or awful.
If I found out that my child had been being bullied by the adult that was supposed to be teaching, enriching, and caring for him for almost a year!!!…… I would feel heartbroken and so so furious!!!😡😞

As a former theatre student, I can confirm that alot of theatre teachers and instructors are vindictive narcissists. My professor from a few years ago even got pissed when I mentioned in stage combat class when I compared some of his techniques to HEMA and he deliberately excluded me from plays (which my major depended on me participating in), made an example of me on at least two occasions just to humiliate me, and even reprimanded me in front of the entire cast for a show when I made a VERY lighthearted joke during rehearsal.

It's been almost two weeks since I watched the video and made the comment, so I don't remember all the details of that story; but I stand by my statement. You should never make someone a priority if you are only an option to them. Respect yourself, and don't let others take you for granted. I learned that lesson the hard way. 🙂

Story 2: Yeah I would tell the gf I don't want any interaction with the now ex. I'd explain my thoughts of her and her actions and would express the concerns such people tend to corrupt others around them into thinking it is ok, because they almost always try to justify their actions and make it seem like there can be reasons that are "ok" to cheat.

I had a teacher like that but in chemistry. She hated me and flat out refused signing. Y work, she wanted me to not be at graduation snd bullied me all year. It wasn’t until my mom threatened to sue (as she was violating a law about seniors being allowed to do make up exams for graduation) and she reluctantly passed me with the lowest grade. I did not care, i passed.
It's not only unprofessional and unfair for a teacher to grade based on their personal opinion of students, but childish as well. They might as well stick their tongue out at the student and say, 'You're not passing my class, so --- NYAAA!"
For the last story, the OP should try ghosting him for a while to see if he notices.
I can kinda relate to the op in the third story. I hate it when my step-dad introduced me as his son when it wasn't true at the slightest. Sure, he can be a father figure, but he will never be my father no matter what. It's ironic that he taught me not to lie when he's been lying to people himself.
With the parent replacements story I have a similar story. Less then a year after my dad (who was my step dad but more of father then my legal one) passed my mom met and got engaged to another man, I did not care it’s her life and he was nice enough to me. One day I was working with one of my best friends (who is older then me but we are very close) and my mom was babysitting her two kids since there dad was working off shore and non of the grandparents were available. My mom always acted like the kids were grandchild of hers and spoiled them rotten. She always talk about how much she loved them and would be happy to watch them any time. The elder (will call them 1) was jumping on the bed and very energetic as kids are. The new man told him to stop and when 1 did not new man grabbed him by the neck and slammed him into the bed and told him to stop. My mom did not call or text about this and waited the three hours of us working to say anything. I was an adult at the time and looking to start school (I put off to care for my dad who had cancer, my mom who had multiple surgeries, and my grandparents who both had dementia at the time and passed since) so I still lived at home and cared for the living family members while working 3 jobs to help pay for everything. When we picked the kids up and I went with my friend to her house for an overnight and to go to work together the next day I insisted she call the police, 1 had marks on the neck and 2 was scared and would not leave my lap. Both kids begged me not to go home because they were scared I would be hurt. The police arrested him and he was charged and given jail time. My mother kicked me out and took all my stuff and money I had saved (not a lot since I was paying for anything that needed it) as well as threatened to call the police if I did not write a letter saying that everything was a miss understanding and new man was a great guy who did nothing wrong. Now years later she is married to him and is trying to start contact with me again but still wants me to say he is a good man and cut contact with my friend who helped me through being randomly homeless, car less, and practically money less as well as heavily depressed and questioning my own judgment for trusting that man and my mother before this happened. I’m about to finally start school now that I’m completely legally not required to involve her and living on the other side of the country because I could not take running into him at the store without having a panic attack since my letter talking about how sweet the kids are was part of what put him in jail and he threatened me as we all left court which I was only at because he has me summoned. It was the worst time of my life and she keeps trying to drag me back in while still supporting him. I was abused as a child (not by her and she got me away from my abuser as soon as she found out) and to have someone I trusted side with an abuser is just horrible for me. Keep your boundaries and don’t let people push them. If your family quits pushing boundaries then great family is nice to have but if the insist you call her mom then cut them out. They could ask for a nick name that you and your kids could use if first name is hard for them to handle but not insist you act like she is your mother.

story 2 i fell bad for op though am glad it seems him and his friend are still on good terms i think but is weird the gf of op is sill freinds with the other girl fully knowing what she did hopefully op can talk to her about it
the one about the theatre teacher reminds me of a teacher I dealt with back in 2002. the class was Music Appreciation, which was a college class I took back then. Long story short, I was sick the day of the final, and two separate times made appointments with her to make the final up. She wasn't there the first time (annoying) and the second time I could see her walking out the door, and called out to her TWICE, and she just kept walking. Needless to say, I failed that class (not expecting to pass anyways.)
The last story, the OP just needs to break it off. The key part she mention is that when he returns home, he just sits on the couch instead of spending time with her. That alone is the sign that it's over. I had the similar thing happen to a friend of mines, his GF would get off work and she would just sit in front of the computer surfing the web and he be on the couch. I told him to break it off then but he didn't listen and went with what his high school friends advice to stick with it. 2 years later and nothing changed, his high school friends finally relented and changed their tune and told him to break it off. It got a little messy and tears were shed. (Me face palm) He wasted 2 years just to do what I told him to do 2 years earlier.

I feel like that's a stretch, but I don't like how the mother didn't believe them either, let alone them thinking a c(-) is a bad grade. It's not, it's average, and average doesn't mean bad. So it's unfortunate that OP felt pressure by their mom.

My freshmen year of high school I had a science class and the teacher had us take our first test in groups of 4 and she would grade 1 of the 4 tests and thats the grade everyone would get, this was probably to cut down on the work she had to do grading. I was grouped with 3 girls, one of whom was notorious for being a lazy POS. We all start going through the test together and shes just sitting there doing nothing. We fill out our tests and she hasn't put down one answer. I look at her and say "seriously? You don't have to do anything but write down the answers we give you and you wont do that?" She still refuses.
Fast forward to getting tests back and of course we get the unlucky 25% chance and all got zero on the test. The other two girls looked at me panicked and I immediately called out to the teacher that this was BS and we shouldn't get punished because our group had a POS in it. She refused to grade any other the other three tests, so I just walked out of the classroom straight to the office and explained everything to the principal. We got our grades changed and every test for the rest of the class was done individually.
Your teacher was definitely a lazy pos as well. Didn't want to have to go through each test individually.

On the 3rd story, I think we might actually need more info. First, on the case of his father remarrying too fast, it might not be due to him cheating. Seeing someone you love with your all passing away can leave you with a huge hole in your heart, which may make you seeking to fill it up, which, in this case, remarrying someone else. Like, I admit it's too fast for him to move on, but would you really want your father to suffer for how long just to prove his fidelity? Next is his remarrying someone itself. Which should've made you a huge thorn had he truly not loved your mother. Instead, he's trying to get you to accept her as your new mother, even if handled in a very stupid way. And from what I could make a guess of in the bits of info given, he still cares a lot for his late wife's son. Which makes things very weird even if they couldn't have kids. So I think both the father and the son is really having a problem in tackling this situation. Though all of this is just my opinion, feel free to point out any problems with it.
They were actively throwing stuff away that was even remotely tied to the late wife. They did not want her presence anywhere around anymore. The father had no love for his late wife. He was literally throwing the memory of her into he trash.

The father is a bigger POS. It's pretty clear he was cheating on the now dead mother. The step mother is not his mother. Nobody should be pretending to be something they're not.

Story #3 - I would like to correct the narrator on some things. First of all he said that the original poster found out that their father had a new girlfriend 1 month after their mother passed away, and then 4 months after the reveal she moved in they got in engaged when in reality that the original poster found out that their father had a new girlfriend 1 month after their mother passed away, 4 months after the reveal she moved in and then 9 months after the move in they got in engaged. Second of the narrator stated the original poster's father is 52 years old and his wife is 28 years when according to the last update the wife is actually 38 years old but I still agree not only is that sketchy but also incredibly inappropriate.

Man always says "I seriously don't know what to do." but more often than not, the OPs do know what to do and have done then.
I’ve had to go through this before. My computer science teacher basically hated me from day one. Now I have ADHD and at the time undiagnosed autism. But that still doesn’t excuse what happened. Because I was doing online learning for the first couple weeks of high school. Thanks to Covid. I had forgotten about my computer science class.
Now. I got grounded. And that’s fair. But then when I’m person learning started. His class turned into a self deprecating nightmare. He would always be condescending to me and some others. Every time I asked him for help he’d make me feel like I’m stupid and useless.
It all came to a head when I was in my last month of high school. I wasn’t doing good in his class. And I was so depressed. And when I reluctantly asked him for help once more. He did help me. But he told me “you’re on your own. I’m not helping you anymore.”
I was so broken by the end of the school year. That I almost took a knife to my wrist.
I failed his class. I just felt so guilty for not being able to do a simple code. Not even graduating made me feel better. I was just blank.

I feel the same on the OP. I'm not in the same situation as I lost my dad young and call my stepfather dad but I'm also at a point of maybe leaving home finally and moving in with my boyfriend if 8 years this summer. I want to keep my child with them because it's easy for her family (her dad and 2 half sisters) rather than having to constantly take trips back and forth iver state lines. I'm slightly concerned that things might go south and her father is unable to drive. At current I can only visit my boyfriend twice a year (fate permitting because when we plan things fail) and although that's nice if I was to have a baby with this man raising that child through a TV screen is an absolute no.
Story 3: they should move away and avoid putting any address info on social media, as well as be sure you have ip redirectory

For the op with the pos father. I know you might not be able to get a restraining order yet. But you can tell the doctors at the hospital you don't want them anywhere near y'all when your baby is born and you can possibly use an out of town hospital but you might feel safer using one you know. But still if you say they aren't welcome and give them pictures they won't let them near you your wife or soon to be born child. I would also ban the brother in law as I doubt he would keep his mouth shut. And or wouldn't try to help them in. Assuming you haven't already done all that

I had a teacher fail me even though all my graded stuff stated I had an A. The teacher didnt like anyone who didnt believes in her religion(cult). Well I took my work to the office and told them to change it. That ms. Blah hated me and did this to fail me. The teacher was nice after this and didnt treat us differently.
