My ex boyfriend HATED my cat and at one point demanded that I get rid of my "Voodoo" kitty. Shocked look on his face when I informed him that since I have been her only caretaker for 16yrs beginning when she was 2 hours old( mother cat rejected her at birth) and I had to bottle feed her , I'd get rid of him first before I would part with her .
Why did he hated it?
I mean, my mom hates cats too but she would never do that
@@juliane.mfarias9285 2 reasons : his own jealousy for first one
Reason 2 she refused to let him pet her unless she was in my arms. He also was very toxic and we would have fights and everytime we got loud with each other Voodoo would take a shit in both of his shoes to punish him
@@talon7132 Thank God he is your EX then
Well he's your ex now so I guess we see that you ended up going through with it
@@animegamer501stthelastyeet8 not right away but yes. Things came to a screeching halt all because of his mother. But that's a whole other story
I hate when momâs go like âI know when your lying or I know what you likeâ I genuinely hate that sh*t
Exactly. Because usually when you ARE telling the truth they are like âno youâre notâ and when you DO lie they are like âoh okayâ and itâs FUCKING ANNOYING
The story about the cat reminded me of a story that was on the internet (I don't remember if it was Reddit or somewhere else) about a young couple who had no children but had one cat, Buffy, that they both thought of as their "baby". When Christmas came, the husband put on the card of the gift he got his wife that it was from "Buffy". His wife was pouty and walked around sniffling and sniveling with her bottom lip hanging down. The husband kept asking her what was wrong and finally through her tears she made the incredible accusation, "Even our cat bought me a present but YOU didn't get me ANYTHING for Christmas."
SHE ACTUALLY BELIEVED THAT
No goddamn way
Lolđ
*Story 1:* It's insane how *"entitled"* some parents are. Talk about neglectful parents! Father being an abusive alcoholic and a mother not caring whether OP had a place to sleep. What kind of parent treats their child like that? Even an adult child needs some love and kindness in their lives. These entitled parents don't deserve anything from OP.
I am also from Texas, and I used to do remote IT Helpdesk for some hospitals up in Chicago area. I remember I got a call from a lady needing help with some kind of issue, and at some point in the call she asked me where I was working from. I told her I was in Texas and she was like,"wait... really? But, you weren't born there, right?" and confused, I told her no, I was indeed born in Texas and have always lived in Texas, and she was like,"But, where's your funky accent?" XD
I guess she was expecting me to have a heavy southern draw. It's not terribly uncommon to have people ask if we all ride horses to work down here too, so I'm not terribly bothered by it.
Jajajajajajaja
I love being ask "where are you from?" and telling them "everywhere." The look on their faces is ALWAYS the funniest and the best. Military brat, so we moved ALOT.
My first time out of state was in HS and my class was grouped with other HS age kids from around the country. We had kids from LA, NYC, and some from North Dakota, all fascinated by my and a couple other kids' accents, and asking if we lived on farms or rode horses to school. In 2010. We had to tell em "no, we're from Houston. You know, the 4th largest city in the US?"
Cat OP: BF should put in the time to get the cat attached to him.
Drinking OP: The more you let her get away with this, the more she thinks she can lie, the more difficult it is for her stop, be strict or unless you love drinking yourself stop buying alcohol.
Texas OP: Just imagine the chaos if you said you're from Alabama.
The 3rd one made me laugh
Drinking OP: thereâs nothing to âget awayâ with. You speak as if he is her father and can dictate her actions. Sheâs a grown ass woman whoâs partaking in a legal activity, thereâs nothing to âget awayâ with. If the OP isnât fond of her drinking he has options, leave her and find someone he has more shared values with, or accept that she likes to drink. He doesnât own her, so itâs not âbe strictâ like itâs a child or a puppy, itâs âlearn to compromiseâ. Maybe she lies and sneaks around because she knows in the back of her mind it shouldnât be a problem and she isnât going to let someone control her.
@@Libertas.Aeterna1776 You dont know how bad this alchoholism is. Is not about "own her" is about caring for her and trying to not let her fall in this harmfull addiction
@@juliane.mfarias9285 alcoholism is anywhere from a couple beers a majority of days during the week, to getting completely drunk every day. Iâve seen people abuse alcohol and it completely destroys their life, but Iâve also seen people that will come home from a long day of work, and have a couple of beers before going to bed. Both situations would be considered an alcoholic, but the guy getting plastered every day is far worse off than the one that just has a couple/few beers
@@Libertas.Aeterna1776 you don't "learn to compromise" with junkies(yeah, alcoholics are junkies). They either get sober, or they get lost.
The cat story reminded me of a short story I had to read in middle school called "Harrison Bergeron" where the government makes everyone equal but instead of making the people that were worse at things better, they handicapped the people that were good at things. That's basically what the boyfriend was trying to do.
I not only had to read that I had to watch a short little recreation of it
I read that one
That first story reminds me about my mother in law:
Basically we rent a house cheap now to save up money to buy our own.
My mother in law wants us to buy a house that she gets to live in and we get to live in her old house rent free. because she can't borrow enough to buy a nice place . She even whent to look at house thinking we would agree ,Yha no no no. I'm not paying a mortgage on a house I'm not living in or renting out.
The cat story: one person put in the effort to bond with cat; thatâs the person with whom the cat bonded. The boyfriend seemed to think that just because he wanted a cat, the cat would automatically bond with him. My husband claimed to have always wanted a German Shepherd. When our first dog was very ancient, we got a German Shepherd pup. I put in the effort; we bonded. My husband just assumed sheâd be his dog because he wanted a German Shepherd. Heâs never liked her because of her seeming rejection.
Love that logic. "Because I want it, it will be mine and no one else's." Then when they do absolutely NOTHING to get its love and bonding with it, are upset when the pet wants nothing to do with them. It's always so funny to watch.
Yep. You gotta put in the time. I did that with my last cat. Got him as a Christmas gift and he was my kitten. He would come when I called his name and always wanted to be around me cause I would always cuddle and play with him. I miss my kitty.
Story 1: Why in the world would OP involve his mother? Even before he got into the main story, she sounded terrible.
those grandparents sure seemed like the devil trying to help their grandson not live on the streets
I love how this guy is talking about the most juicy stories but the background is just absolutely crankin' 90's
Still, love your vids.
you can't just send a child out to live on the streets. Period. Full stop. The end.
That cat story is basically this in a nutshell:
My boyfriend is mad at me for taking care of a kitten we adopted and expects me to neglect the kitten so heâs the favorite.
I love it everytime you post while I sit in class I just sit while doing my work and listening to your stories its so good and calming absolutely love the content

The Texas thing.. Yeah, I'd start calling them all mobsters. Last time I was in a saloon was a few years back in SD.
or imply they're too stupid to survive without the rural areas shipping the stuff to them
First story: Iâd say thatâs an example of when spoiled kids become parents
Story 3: Get her an intervention and some AA meetings.
I grew up in Alaska and have had such ridiculous reactions and questions from people. Specially when I joined the military, 1 person asked if I've ever seen grass (while we are standing outside). I responded with, "is that what all this green stuff is?" A lot of states have a stereotype about them,
Tell your mom :"Well, you can inherit the house from me later if I kick the bucket before you"
Outstanding as always thanks!!!đđ

I feel so sorry for the guy who lost his cat, ive lost my cat some time ago. We got a dog but ive never really liked dogs so im not as close to the dog as the rest of my family. I think hes just having a hard time moving past his loss and accepting a new responsibility in place of an old one and he feels it would be betraying his old cat. Good luck to the both of them
Cats make their own choices, & who's been taking the most care of the cat??? Her of the couple.
The boyfriend in the second story needs to man up and put his foot down and tell the woman to get help
Third story sorry guy in the second one is just butt hurt
The cat story...RUN! Imagine having kids with the guyđš
To the person whose girlfriend is an alcoholic, find an Al-Anon meeting near you. They're a wonderful support group for family and friends of loved ones who suffer from the disease of alcoholism. â€
Bruh, she wants the house? A parent's job is to provide until 18. After that it's entirely up to the child what they want to do. So you should firmly tell her "No, please leave me alone" and if it doesn't work, the get legal matter (like if she trespasses)
Since when does the mother have a say in where the op lives.
If the op found a great place that they will enjoy,Then the mother doesn't have a choice but to accept it.
The mother is asking the op to give her a free house until she dies then he can have his own house back.
She is being selfish and a karen,Thinking that she can have whatever her sons have.
For the record: the word saloon is still VERY much in use.. in Arizona, Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico, and pretty much anywhere that still has that "wild west" touristy trap kinda vibe
Cats usually pick 1 family member to bond with.
Cats are 1 person pets, me & husband had 2 cats, 1 for me, 1 for him.
Back2Basic: she's trying to document shes destitute!, her NAME HER choices!!
You upload so fast I barely have time to even finish one video
your vides are the best and different from other youtubers!
For the cat story? They should've adopted two, so that way she has a buddy to bond with and that way the boyfriend can work on bonding with the other kitty. Besides, kittens that young should be adopted in pairs anyway.
Anyone who knows cats, should know they will have one "person" they bond with.
My husband and I had a similar situation with our cat. She liked him better even though she was âmyâ cat but he was also her primary caretaker for awhile and naturally had a better bond. Once we communicated and I started playing with her more, now she likes both of us but she still likes him better. I feel like cats just have âtheir personâ and thatâs fine. No reason to be jealous over it

All the stories that he tells are soo goodđđđđđđđđ€©đ€©đ€©đ€©đ€©đ€©
she's not a bad mom she just kept her distance.. definition of bad mom
1st story: It's tough that this dude is stuck with 2 shitty parents. Lady, if you want the home YOU buy it.
2nd story: Dude, if you want the cat to love you then you gotta spend more time with it. Of course it loves your girlfriend more if she's the one primarily taking care of it.
3rd story: The problem with alcoholics is that you can't help them if they don't want to be helped.
4th story: OP isn't the one who messed up. She is.
5th story: It's kinda stupid that they treated her like this just for being from Texas. EVERY place has unflattering stereotypes, including New Jersey, so hating someone for being from Texas is a glass houses situation no matter where you yourself is from.
I have a cat named Thomas me and my mom recently moved into her fiance's house he's starting to get used to him so trust me just maybe give the kitten a little food and spend some more time with it and the kid will like the boyfriend more
how to get rid of entitlement:
call police if it gets worse
if the mom was treated so badly wouldn't she want to make sure her son wouldn't have to go through the same thing? terrible parents
Thats messed up just kicking someone out of their house
Story 3. INTERVENTION. Does your s/o have family that's worried about her drinking? Get as many together, have them wrie letters expressing how her drinking affects them, and ask her to get help. Find an IN-PATIENT treatment place where she can find help. After treatment, see if there is a Most Excellent Way branch in your area your s/o can attend.
Thing with cats, after the first 8 months they'll tend to seek out the ones who pay attention, it's a 'trial and error' situation. My roommate's cat latched onto me cause I spoil the day out of him, feed him buy him treats etc. Cats are also very prideful, you give them lots if love and attention, they'll own you and not the other way around.
Those who cannot put genuine effort into a relationship deserve to be cut off permanently from the life/lives of their partner(s)
if she is hiding it, then she has a problem & until she will admit it there's not much you can do. So if you think that it is out of control, then I suggest you give her an altermation.
The second story reminds me of our cat. That is basically the same story with my brother's cat and me. We wanted a cat and convinced our parents and he said when he moves out (he's 5 years younger than me and underaged) he takes the cat with her, so it's "his cat". But I'm doing everything. Caretaking, playing, buying toys, cleaning the litterbox, taking her to the vet and PAYING for the vet (I'm in university and have basically no own income).
The last one was funny đ
It is funny how people need cat without caring for it and also jealous of it. đ
Donât let her in your or brothers house she will never pay rent or garbage it up
I swear I've heard that first story somewhere else. I'm not sure when but I definitely recognize the story
Back2Basic: with MY Doberman puppy Charlie i told my boyfriend repetitive words and actions from BOTH of us would have him 'so smart"#! And it worked with whole neighborhood loving HIM!! Thank YOU INSTEAD of treats HAD him shining upon hearing "thank YOU"!! đ
As for the girlfriend with a drinking problem, bring her to a hospital where there are very serious cases of liver damage. Show her the dialysis machine. Let her see what happens to people who didn't stop drinking until it's too late. Have a doctor "scare" her with medical facts.
That wonât stop most people lol, addicts arenât stupid they know the damage. She needs to deal with the problems in here life causing her to drink.
@@JoelEmmettMcGarrity
Maybe if you can make people stay there for a week... listening for the problems and the scary stuffs; and the costs of staying alive.
Or sneak naltrexone in her food or drinks daily and she'll start to lose interest in drinking and not know why. They cost 140.00 a month here in Canada.
â@@erichanastacio9695 That doesn't work. If it was that easy, that would be cool though.
Story 5: Counterattack with Jersey Shore stereotypes.
OP makes butter knives look sharp. Has a crxxpy mom and decides to take her along when OP goes aptt hunting? OMG. OP is a Mensa candidate (sarcasm)!
I relate so hard to the last story because I told people that I was from Texas and they started saying almost the exact same things not exactly but similar
Ditch the dude keep the cat. He is jealous of a cat. Let that sink in for a bit. He wants it good relationship with the cat w/o the work
Us Floridians are just crazy. We just have the most known crazies
Well cats prefer running water compared to stagnant bowls.
2nd story best solution is to break up with him and hire me as new bfđ
Your stories are always awesome, but as an alcoholic, saloons are definitely still a thing đ got a couple here in the Bay Area
Story 4: Iâm not sure she was cheating on the op but rather with the op
Story 3: I don't drink but she doesn't drink and drive she apparently only gets buzzed enough to be suspected of drinking by someone who knows her pretty well.
I don't think drinking is her problem I think it's a symptom of what her problem really is. OP is harping on her drinking but seemingly never asked why she's drinking.
Cats like running water
2nd story
Boyfriend could get a new cat and treat it just like op did to that so he would the attention back and the first cat would have a friend too
My uncle from Florida removes dangerous animals from public areas and he had to actually wrestle an alligator
You can't kick out a 16 year old lmao that's illegal and their not an adult yet..
Ok. As a resident of Florida, his stereotype isnât necessarily wrong...
Just I was thinking like "are you sure about that?"

@@macandrews9548 don't forget we're in 2022
Story 4: Playing devil's advocate here, even though he says they got close and they had talked about spending their lives together he didn't really specify that they were either together or getting together.
Boyfriend needs to teach the cat tricks, something he does that is not the same as the OP
i think the boyfriend shoud just get a dog and spend time with him so that the dog would get attatched to him
Really revenge dog now?
Dang bro you makin vids at 8 Mach speed like seriously tho you epic 2 in 1 day
Story 1. Mom, KICK ROCKS! POUND SAND! GTFOOML!!!!!
Water bowls are messy since cats play and spill the bowl
I now want to get into a fight in an old timey saloon. It sounds like a lot of fun.
Story #3 is definitely the hardest to solve. I am an alcoholic. I absolutely hate it. I drink alone, and I have to fight with myself to buy limited portions so that I can't drink so much that my digestive tract is overwhelmed and starts bleeding. I hide it from people so that they won't get on me. I've been hospitalized multiple times for it, detoxed each time with benzos so that I won't get DTs if I stopped, and still gone back to it. I have sought help, but have determined that the only way I can be cured is to replace this addiction with another one. AA uses Christianity for that, and the secular AA-style solutions are limited and have so far proven ineffective. I've been this way over a decade and I've never found a solution. I wish the OP and her the best of luck breaking free of the cycle. One is too much and ten is not enough
I wish you the best of luck, I understand how hard that can be. I know you can stop drinking, just a little bit at a time!
Love you vids keep it uppđđđđđ
Animals you need to let them know who is the boss
Story 5: its like when i tell people i am from west virginia. with out fail people start singing country roads...
I agree about the cat part
If your gf have a drinking problem leave her homeless for 2 to 3 weeks and she will never complain or think about drinking
