This is amazing!!! Your guides are 100% perfect Subscribed and all. Out of the box question that you or your viewers may know but Final Fantasy X has a weird ghosting in battles when anything is at a distance and im newer to emulation. Any idea what setting this can be. Its the only title that does this and i havent strayed away from any setting you guided thru.

I wouldn’t recommend it, get yourself a 512gb silicon power ssd for $35 if you’re trying to do ps2 and GameCube games at 4K.
Is it possible to reset the folder settings to default? I fudged something up and now fmvs don't play, such as the EA logo and background videos in menus in burnout 3 after changing to USB settins

I haven’t been able to make the covers work, I followed you instructions but kept the files in ISO format. I set the directories to the proper places and changed the file names so as to be equal but I still can’t make it work. Any suggestions?

Did you figure it out? On duckstation I had to upload them through Xbox portal and name them EXACTLY what the game title is and it worked perfect
10:57 for me when I do what you said I don’t get a directory like you I just get two files S and Q.
S file is Program Files\windows apps and the Q file is Users\UserMgr0\AppData\Local\Packages.
I can only chose the two and nothing takes me to the usb drive.
a pendrive can cause problems vs a hdd? various games perfect in the videos and menus but the gameplay have fps drops, could it help using xbox device portal ?
Hello, It's december right now for me and I was wondering if we had to make a patches direcory because it says that in the folders page.
Trying to start the games like how you did but they either show a black screen and don’t allow me to go back to the menu or in NFS Underground 2s case it starts the initial loading screen and keeps freezing
Not sure if you can help me; some of my ROMs refuse to show cover art. I’ve tried downloading new ROMs, new cover art, I uninstalled XBSX2 and reinstalled, wiped all the XBSX2 folders from my drive and set everything up from scratch.
The thing is - it’s the same 5 games that refuse to show cover art. They were showing it before; issue started when I decided to put higher quality images in the Covers folder. But there are higher quality images of the same file type in the folder which show fine for other games.

Is there a way to lock in the settings and files so they never change? I had retroarch previously, but every few weeks it would tweak out and revert some settings back to default. I just want to make sure that xbsx2 will stay perfect, even if my Xbox updates
When I try to use a memory card in a game it says it’s not enough space on it, I did everything you said on the memory card part, any ways you could recommend fixing it??
Great tutorial and fan of most if not all of these guides! Maybe one thing for future vids or something there is a solution known...but i was not able to find it. Issue: When playing jak and daxter there is a shadow bug. This also happens in the native pcsx2 emu, however the fix known there i cannot apply to xbsx2! Any idea?

All folders are created in external usb ssd... so i have to point all paths again...
Yeah, uninstall the old one then install the new one and point to your already existing folders
This emulator is amazing. Had constant issues with Retroarch and PS2 cores across various games, but so far I've had zero issues with XBSX on Series X.

Really interested what games you are running , I’ve tried metal gear 2 , crash nitro kart , street fighter anniversary collection and they run slow
@@nasirriaz2409 Metal Gear 2 seems fine. WipeOut Fusion, THPS, Tekken. So far all good. A few slight stutters with Destruction Derby Arenas but nowhere near as bad as Retroarch.

The only thing is works fine when you exit Dev mode and go back to your regular Xbox. You won’t be able to use quick resume. It seems like it doesn’t save no big deal.

Go to the PCSX2 wiki and apply the right settings shown for the game.

I already have this emulator installed on my series s, I am having shading troubles in some games, for example in scarface and destroy all humans, would be great to fix it because I enjoy it too much, I have tried some configurations that I have found and it got better but is still there. for whatever reason Scarface has mad glitchy shadows now, where XBSX2 had no issues.
Been having trouble for a couple days, I've done this the first time and worked fine until patch l've formatted my ush various times and done this video step by step and for some reason xbxs2 is not reading any of the many bios files I have in the set directory and ps2 covers as well the folder will set but the artwork will not come up and yes all file names are exactly the same as game
I just ended downloading the AetherSX2 version. XBSX2 didn’t want to read bios as well

I had the same problem, you have to go to your usb folders and add some permissions, the process is something like this: right click on the folder that contains your emulator stuff, then in properties, security, advanced, add, select security entity, advanced, search, all application packages, then ok, ok, apply.
Then it can read the BIOS, now my only problem is that memory card is not detected, maybe I have to add write permissions.
Edit: For memory card I just leave the default folder instead of the USB one.

In the video he tells you to select a folder in your usb disk for the memory card in the settings, I just left the default one
Great tutorial. Can anyone advise why xbsx2 won’t run a game automatically when launched via launchpass. It opens the xbsx2 app onto main screen but don’t load the game like Xenia canary does. Games run fine when loading through xbsx2 app. I know the description refers to this being compatible with launchpass and retropass

Yes, they combined them all into the patches folder. So make a patches folder and extract the patches zip into it.
I hope its not too late to ask this but I can play more than 4 players on it for some reason. I connected 5 xbox controllers to test the multitap function and it only "recognizes" 4 inputs or controllers. Any help? Love the videos man

Yo, I've got problems with detecting memory card in games, do you have any advice about it?
I have this issue too recently... homestly I just decided to use the save states
When I try to start a game it gives me a message in the top right that says "Game disc location is on a removable drive, performance issues such as jittering and freezing may occur" then XBSX crashes and it sends me back to the dev mode home screen. Also there is no "Widescreen Directory" for me but there is a "Patches Directory" which I just left alone. Could that have something to do with it?

Awesome tutorials!! What do I do when the gameplay is a little slow? I have a One X, trying to play Tekken 5. I’ve noticed almost all the games play the same way, the menus seem to be full speed but the gameplay does not. I do have it set to Game and not App.
The Xbox One X doesn't have a good enough CPU for PS2 games.

Xbox One can only handle up to PS1 before performance tanks. Some Dreamcast/PSP will be ok but nothing beyond.
