Thanks Mr zlatan
A great player and a man of testicular vision.
He played , he didnt coach. He is talking thinking star players (if ManUtd has even one) should be treated like kings, caus no one ever says no to him. Thats wrong with modern football: the players rule. While it should be the other way around: you get paid buttloads of money so you give it a 1000%! Thats the difference with last season: the players think they are big stars again.
@@Pieter-ns5nvthere are players that give it their all that are big stars though… they just play for different teams than United. Ten Haag is partially responsible since some of them he recruited. Even from his old club that are playing like ass. They don’t recruit the big stars with good mentality which teams like Liverpool and city do.
@@Pieter-ns5nvso many coaches said no to Zlatan, starting from Van Gaal at Ajax arriving to Pep at Barca. Zlatan has always been a star, but you need to separate his arrogant side from the overall player, because he surely had many defects, but he was an amazing player. He had balls to tell Wenger that he didn't do trial when he was an Ajax player, and in his early 20s he had Capello as manager in a stellar dressing room (Capello other than the coach of the "Invincibles" Ac Milan who beated 4-0 Cruijf's Barca in the CL final, was also known as a coach with high temper and authority. Pep didn't treat him as he was expecting, but even if Barca was a dream for him, Ibra took his own path and kept winning and deciding football in Europe and US, coming back in Europe for an incredible Scudetto with Milan. He know what he's talking about. And ten Hag didn't pay Ronaldo the respect that deserved, because you can take any decision that you want as a coach, but if you can't cope with the personality of one of the best players ever that can give some winning knowledge only by being there, you've already failed.
Bring in Zlatan as an assistant. They'll shape up.
Genuinely think he'd still score 10 goals in the league tbh. The guy is a monster

He is right, there is no Beckham there, no Ronaldo. Because ten Haag can't bring forth the star in them. So they are a bunch of lost talents running around.
He has had a detrimental effect on each of the players.
Casemiro, Ronaldo varane De Gea Fernandes were all big stars.
And objectively he made every one of them worse @ryanmwestate
Biggest issue is that people still think united is united .. its not. Theres no big players and they stopped competing..
When the team gets fucked over and over , and theres a manager who tries to fix it , it takes time.
United fans wanted to give him a year , but thats not realistic as 5years of buying talents for the future.. doesnt improve the team overall, it just creates a big mess with allot of players that expect to play.

Ten Hag is struggling because Man Utd is a toxic club. Moyes, Van Gaal, Mourinho, Solskjaer and Ragnick are all talented managers and yet all of them struggled at Man Utd. Look at what Ten Hag did at Ajax and what he did last year and it's easy to see he's also a talented manager and that the struggles over the last 10 years haven't been fixed by sacking the manager and replacing them with someone else.

Man United DNA IS Big stars.
That's a dumb argument. Big stars=top talent, but if you mean younf prospect then it's still dumb. Man Utd is not Dortmund, Ajax, PSV, or Atalanta, they have to challenge and win some competition not develop and produce young kids.
@@bimapriambada1098 did Ajax consistently challenge on the big stage, yes. Did Dortmund under Klopp consistently challenge on the big stage. Alex Ferguson did not take a team of superstars win. For most part he create a team full of legends. Even the great Ronaldo was just a top talent when he came to United. The same can be said for Roy Keane, David Beckham, Rooney, Ferdinand, Giggs etccc. The work ethic and and recruitment massively change when Fergie left. Ferguson was more about recruiting top talent than anything else. This is actually the position we are in now. We need to believe in the project and support and back the manager. They deserve the treatment of the young player who needs to be raised up. But maybe they think they should be treated like winners just because they are at Man Utd?
If so, the solution in not that ten Hag changes his approach; it's that the players humble themselves. When the players behave like winners, show the mentality of winners, then ten Hag will alter his approach and not be so demanding because he will see the evidence that these players place these demands on themselves.

Worse start in 40!years and our season is over
But they’ve learned you can’t keep moving the coaches in and out, there is no stability in that approach. The club needs stability they are bit challenging for anything at the minute. Get stable and then start challenging for stuff

Zlatan was right about 10Hag and CR7 was right about MU's situation and the way 10Hag applying in MU.
MU is completely different from AJAX. AJAX's development orientation is to train young players and then sell them to make money for the club. MU, on the contrary, has just trained young players to bring them to the A team and compete to win big titles like the Premier League and Champion League.
10Hag approached MU's star players similarly to AJAX's approach to young players who have not yet won any major titles.😊

In all fairness trying to appease the egos of the superstars over the last decade hasn't worked.

That's the truth, but everyone needs a time to adjust and to develop. He will succeed. I am pretty sure about that.
He’s right. ETH has adapted his method to get results instead of adapting the team to his style so that they eventually yield results and the pressure from fans have a big part to play with that. Every manager is hounded after a series of losses without allowing change to be implemented. There is no growth without pain.
Ten hag has delivered many times for ajax even with youngsters, where as these 'big stars' have only put in subpar performance after subpar performance year after year.

Even stars have to listen to the boss. You cant compromise on a player based on his popularity. That will give incentive for others to challenge your leadership. Sir Alex got rid of Beckham. It was actually physical altercation kind of disagreement and he had to leave. None of the players in the current United squad are at a star level that Beckham was back then. Football is a team effort. Stars cater to their status at an individual level and so that is not important in the grand scheme of things. Ten Hag should not waver to divas in the dressing room. Any player that seems to have an issue with his way should leave when it’s appropriate.
