    Great video, love the look of European Trucks. Here in Florida it’s more about expanding lanes on the highway due to population growth. Love your videos.

      We need here more highways and more lanes but laws, regulation, etc etc needs loooong time for planing and so on. It's not the best infrastructure country :-(

    In America we run trucks side by side in front of grinder. The milling machine never stops. Trucking is the highest cost on job

    Super Video. hab gerade mal geoogelt und musste feststellen das Wirtgen jetzt CAT Motoren einbaut. Ich war mal bei uns auf der A 8 am Chiemsee auf Außenmontage bei einer Fräse da war noch ein Mercedes OM 444 V 12 eingebaut. Das war ein geiles Gerät.

    What do they do with the milled out material. Is it recycled back to new asphalt mixture during road laying.

    Ben, love your work. I spent 4 years in your country with the Army. Loved driving the Autobahns. A lot of time up and down Alligator Hill hauling construction equipment. Do you know this hill? Easy going up but very dangerous going down if you don't know what you are doing.

    • @BeytekinConstructionMachinery
      @BeytekinConstructionMachinery  Před 4 lety

      Hey Raymond, thx for watching! No, didn't know that hill? Where you was stationed in? Happy New Year!

      Benjamin Beytekin I was stationed in Karlsruhe, about half an hour south of Heidelberg on the A5 autobahn. I was there between 1983 and 1987. The Aligator is a 7 percent grade with curves all the way down. The biggest problem for big trucks like we had was using the brakes as little as possible so we didn’t loose air pressure. If you did, the truck would automatically shift into neutral and no brakes. I know of one time this happened. there was work on a bridge and men were on scaffolding. The truck lost control and raninyo it, killing a couple of workers. After that, we avoided that hill at all cost.

    Hi Ben. Now will they use one of those very wide resurfacing machines and cover it all in one go or will they put 2 layers on. He is sure cutting deep - I presume they they have a tight schedule, hence the use of 2 machines, now it is getting towards the 'Holiday Season' starting. Also how far (distance wise) is the length of the job. Nice video.

    • @BeytekinConstructionMachinery
      @BeytekinConstructionMachinery  Před 6 lety

      One direction in one weekend. Three milling machines, two InLine Paving units. Around 100 trucks. Costs: 1.4 million Euro.

    • @christopherlovelock9104
      @christopherlovelock9104 Před 6 lety

      WOW - And why not, after all it's not their personal money they are using. I bet, as we say, - (a few "brown envelopes") - went under a few doors to get the contract. It's common enough over here, so why not anywhere else. How long was the length of the job in distance.

    • @BeytekinConstructionMachinery
      @BeytekinConstructionMachinery  Před 6 lety

      Around 1.4 km. Well, I do not hope they got it with those methods ;-)

      Alas it is all too common in our Country I'm afraid Ben, I could give you loads of examples, - and they are just the ones known to the 'general public'. From Motorway projects to our local council wasting ratepayers money, (around £15,000), just to move a bus stop 50 metres farther along a road. As the noise of the buses stopping and starting was annoying one of our councillors who had just moved to the property where the stop was sited outside.
