The idea of protesting on the street is to make the avarage person uncomfortable enough to think about important issues. As you can see from this video, people are talking about it. (Though a lot of it is Twitter brainrot) But it seems like it is working. A person getting late to work is negligible if it brings attention to literal children being genocided.

It's probably worth distinguishing the difference between substances, I agree it's smart to recognize that. Alcohols is worse, but everyone is fine with it. You can do far more damage in a few months of heavy methamphetamine use than you could in a lifetime of weed use.

Stop being ironic, Mr. "Reading Comprehension."
The problem about these people who constantly virtue signal, especially about heavy political topics like this, is that they ignore the everyday person in favour of people who are completely unrelated to them. It’s not a “Zionist” take to not want to deal with or hear people obstructing traffic to push whatever message you’re trying to put out. The only effect you’re going to have is make everything worse for the average person, not the government.
Also, comparing a protest for something happening in another country to a protest that was about an issue the United States was going through is crazy, it’s miles beyond the same thing. Popular people need to understand that WE HAVE LIVES, it doesn’t make us bad people for not wanting to participate or have a stance, we just want to get by and leave it at that.
lol look up what virtue signaling means. I think you are a little kid trying to use big words that you dont understand. Someone protest and being arrested for protesting is not virtue signaling. How many times has a protest blocked your street but here you are crying about it like its the end of the world. And there have been protests all through history not just civil rights. Nearly every war America got into has been protested and YES they took to the streets and brainwashed government sheep like you started to enact laws that took away Americans First Amendment right which is Free Speech which includes protesting but Im so glad to learn that your minimum wage job is more important than keeping our rights as Americans intact.

Every civil rights movement has worked for this very reason. Explain how protesting the way the opposition wants you too, has brought positive change to any social movement, becuase if it did the movement wouldn't have existed in the first place. Are you this dumb?
Why is it always the main roads they decide to block with protest, instead of paths and roads that lead to military buildings or city halls.
In my home city whenever theres a protest, its always outside the city hall, as it inconveniences the local government, as it should be doing.
I think about that man who shot a climate change activist in Panama, because she was blocking a highway. He went too far, but also what do you expect when you decide to make the everyday people suffer instead of people who can have actual impact?
It’s because if its on a main road then it gets people talking and doing research as to why it’s happening it’s basically to tell more people about what’s happening and where the us tax dollars are going
@gorillagamer6621 what kind of person is going to sit down and do some research about a situation, that they have no personal connection to, just because a group of entitled people decided to make their lives worse. These protests will only make their side look worse
@@meturameta5805 well it will soon be effecting their personal life with the us raising taxes so they can afford to send supplies to Israel
@@gorillagamer6621 I'm pretty sure people would rather have the taxes be raised than joining in on something they don't know or should decide on at the cost of their jobs and income.
@@meturameta5805 the problem is if this goes through then people are going to have to get 2nd or 3rd jobs to support themselves
3:55 how tf are they at a debate but they don’t know where Singapore is
If you wanna see how blocking the road doesn't help your protest, just watch any just oil protest.
another day another:
Hasan complaining about polotics that dont effect him
reasonable take from asmond
horrible take from kaceytron
Uncommonly good take from xqc
what a day am i right guys?
its crazy how this (kinda) went from a political take of Palestine and isreal to streamers insulting each others personal lives.
Yeah, really didn't expect a good take from XQC. Wild day!
To be fair the politics are effecting everyone who pays taxes in America because they’re taking that money and sending over to Israel
My thing with the roadblocking is that while it does draw attention, it doesn't really draw focus to the issue the "activists" are yelling about. All you're thinking about is how a bunch of annoying college dropouts are screaming about how evil Israel is and you're just trying to take your kids to go and grab some Arby's.
It's not like the Civil Rights movement where the everyday American people had a more tangible relationship with those issues, primarily with stuff like boycotting segregated buses and restaurants. Besides that, these protests are over a conflict that is honestly too complicated to try and push a single black and white narrative as compared to the issue of civil rights being the need for equal treatment of all races by both society and the government.
That's not to say that the Israel and Hamas conflict isn't important, it's more so that I'm not really considering the opinions of protesters who tend to just be radicalized college students, blatant anti-Semites, and people pushing anti-American sentiments. The reason I don't support these protests is because 1.) I tend to be against movements that are too radical, believing them to be just another extreme in a world too complicated for such ideologies. 2.) Anti-Semitism, or literally any form of prejudice, coming from a group of individuals who tend to be far more politically progressive is just a disgusting form of hypocrisy, as well as the fact that prejudice is just bad. 3.) America aint perfect, but I'd sooner side with the idiot president than some psycho screaming "Death to America" during some rant about Zionism.
Now admittedly, I'm not as well-informed about the whole situation between Israel and Palestine as a whole, I got the gist of it, but I just don't have the authority on literally any of this stuff; however, that doesn't mean that I feel right about letting an angry, 20-something blue hair try to lecture me on why Israel needs to be dismantled or how saying that Hamas are terrorists is inaccurate (kind of a generalization, but you catch my drift). It's like, I know I'm not exactly Henry Kissinger when it comes to understanding geopolitics, but I certainly know I'm not getting an accurate and fair assessment from half of the people doing these protests.
Ask how peple feel about just stop oil. And peta
"And doing PODcasts with POkiMAine" Lmao
I didn't expect Sliker to randomly show up
Seeing these tweet defending hasan for being objectively rude and disrespectful is insane
Well he is right.
Hes right unfortunately
Nome of these people in this video should be taking seriously.
Could someone give me the beat at 10:00
The tiktok xqc replied to kaceytron 💀
XqC being fucking based
Xqc really loves his father so he prob saw that hag attack family and got really triggered.
I mean I am a minumun wage worker that is struggling ends meet, if a huge crowd of protestors was blocking my ability to get to work I will be upset and willl probably support whatever they are protesting against. Best way to protest is go towards our government building and do it there or within the parameters of a company that is supporting Israel instead of places that is unrelated to the protest. Better yet, go to Israel and protest.
So witb your logic if black lives maters blocked your commute you'd support white nationalists out of inconvenience, just asking?
Goblin was such a surprise feature😭😭😭
I agree with gold for once If they do that it's just gonna turn into just stop oil and you don't wanna be them
Dude, even if they blocked the road and nobody would remove them do they really think commuters would stop and be like: ''Hey! These people are right! I support Palestine now!
Fuck no, they'd instinctively be against their movement..
Well once again a slew of bad takes
-Hasan is Hasan. A clown who think he can with actual political debates as tho he streaming then get frustrated when no one take him seriously
-I don't agree with Asmongold take here; When the laws are unjust it is the civilian moral and patriotic duty to correct said that whole point of the 2nd amendments. I not saying activist blocking the roads and harassing the middle class to accomplish social justice is a good thing (often it just backfire) but on the other when injustice are simply ignore what else is there to do? I do agree with Zack is saying about protest isn't going magically bring about change but it definitely the first step towards it
- Devolution of rich streamer throwing mud at each other completely forgetting the point of the discussion is just the sad state of twitter. Like like Tracy is somehow more offended at Zack and XQC calling her fat then the actual portical take they had lol
*Hasan
I do agree with you there about the law being unjust, than civilians are allowed to protest it. The issue I see in this is that most people protesting Israel right now are not from that country and it has nothing to do with them (unless they are from said country or palestallian). I will understand if they want to protest a company that is supporting Israel but at least protest within that company parameters and not somewhere else that is unrelated to the protest. And I do agree that protesting does work, I just don't see how protesting a foreign country is going to do anything when our government, the Israeli governmnet, and Hamas already decided how to deal with the situation. At least that's my view on it.
Hasan defaulting to petty insults, and mockery when things don't go his way is a typical Hasan moment in fact everything happening here is typical of these streamers. Streamers in general just shouldn't be political let's be honest.
that shit was funny tho come on
Wait are people being sarcastic or do they actually think Hasan somehow "won" the whole discussion? Bro was acting like a child the whole time while everyone else was calmly listening to his baby cries. Except for blondie.
Hasan falling flat on his face everytime when making political statements is incrdible. He could just not talk about politics, but hes too dense to stop.
And here you can see a deaf person.
15:07 "Many asmon viewers main source of info is asmon" unironically that has to be one of the most stupidest things i have ever genuinely heard
I agree w xqc kinda, he's completely right when he says that a lot of people are gonna hate people stopping them from going to work and are going to say "fuck your movement" because people who are just trying to make ends meet simply aren't worried about whats going on in another country. Do I think they should stop the protests? nah, cause it really is the most effective way to protest.
I think blocking the roads is absolutely an effective form of protest and forces people to pay attention to you... However, Yes you're being an insufferable prick to people who are not informed or dont care to be informed on the issue. So yes it is absolutely should be illegal for you to do it. People do have the right to pull you out of the way or drive through you. It would be chaos if there was no punishment for blocking the roads in protest.
More like get more people to hate and ignore you.
It is effective for the wrong reasons. You're not going to get anyone on your side if you annoy them. It's effective at getting people to hate you.
@@YourPal1 Sort of? It will drive a LOT of negative attention your way, however the hopes are that the annoyed people will cause such a fuss to the local authorities that they are forced to do something because the citizens are starting to be annoyed.
@@YourPal1explain how every civil rights moment faild becuase they annoyed people. Yall need to get off yt and read a book.
