    There I was only 30 mins ago scrolling through Banggood and AliExpress admiring what appears to look like some good quality well engineered precision tools and then this video pops up 👍 it's sometimes easy to over look or dismiss Chinese brands but actually can be very good.

      Hi 101. I’ve bought clamps from there and now had two tools sent, they have all been well built. Regards JP

    One of those tools, when you need it, its worth its weight in gold. Two things I was missing was some good options to clamp it down. You could fix some T-Tracks to those corner holes. Also missing is the option to attach it to a saw track to be able to drill a set of holes in a straight line. Can also be done with a jig but for €80 I would prefer more fixing options rather than using one of the motorbike handles. Here it would be great if one of those horseshoe stops could fix to a saw track.

      Hi Gary. A track mounting would be a brilliant idea 💡 Regard JP

    Should have watched to the end before commenting! I have used a Wolfcraft version to put in a mortice lock in a door. Worked great.

      I think those stops are great for fitting locks / latches etc... Regards JP

    There are some cracking tools on Banggood. There is some absolute tosh on there too. I am hearing good stuff about compression router bits from them.

    Weird coincidence! I have just watched another ‘Toober discussing things they regretted buying and one of those was a drill guide/stand… 👀
    Granted, it was nowhere near as competent and flexible as the Banggood one you were demonstrating, which looks a quality piece too… 👍🏻

    The one I received had a .04" difference in width between the top and bottom of the posts so it will barely go down half way. Lots of oil made no difference. DOA

      @@Smallbarnworkshop it was £96+7p&p so £103 total and it was discounted. It has no where near the functionality of Enjoy woods, and has some plastic components. However it looks to have longer travel.

      @paulwren97 I agree Paul, I bought one about 18 months ago and I'm totally underwhelmed by it. It works, but as you say, none of the added value of the Enjoywood.

    Are the half hole guides actually centre finder stops?

  • @M.Elyami
    @M.Elyami Před 2 měsíci +1

    I bought it for about $100, it's junk, when you push down on it it get stuck. No solution for it, couldn't make one cut with it, and the brass inserts keep.coming off, banggood is not responding about it either 😄

    I was one of those shouting at you to say those short pins are for centring on a narrower edge😂😂 I’m assuming if you mark for a hole on the board then when it’s set at an angle the bit lines up to the mark. I’ve probably made a right bollocks of describing that🫣😜
