- Eric Cantona’s time in the Premier League was nothing short of inconic.
He fled to the Premier League after continuously getting into trouble in his home country.
Leeds United was the original destination but Old Trafford and Manchester United was his destiny.
In 5 years at United, Cantona won 4 league titles and 2 FA Cups.
I believe he altered the course of English Football forever.
There was of course controversy along the way, but in this video we explore why I believe he was the Premier League’s greatest ever signing.

I was a teenager then playing for my local club. We were dead chuffed when we got a new kit with a collar so we could open it like Cantona 😆

One of the craziest stats about Eric, during his time at United, he assisted 20 of the 37 outfield players he ever played with, 54%! That is insane. And the 17 he didn’t assist, 13-14 if them barely played a full game with Eric; Clayton Blackmore, Chris Casper, William Prunier, John O’Kane, Colin McKee, etc.
He will always be a king of Old Trafford.
