He is lying there was no team meeting that day before match and this guy was told by so many to bowl first because it was raining 1 night before heavily even on the morning of 1999 final match , a street cricketer will have more knowledge to bowl first as he is saying his team strength was bowling , then after this kind of experience in cricket when you take such pathetic decisions , why should the world donât think of him as a mysterious cricketer with history of gambling.

Heâs a liar. His entire team was against this. At least 4 players told him to now bat first giving that it was raining for the past 2 days. The idea to bat first in general is not bad but when you know itâs been raining and there is moisture in the pitch you bowl first. The fact that he made that decision on his own suggests he was up to something fishy.
