- Willie, Sarah and their dog, Jack Spaniels, continue their biggest adventure yet - leaving their suburban life and moving over the sea to a remote cottage on the Isle of Skye, off the west coast of the Scottish Highlands.
In this episode, the 'Skye-Lifers' head out on a epic road trip across the border into England, to pick up the new addition to Team Skye Life - Nori the Springer Spaniel Puppy!
What will Jack Spaniels think of the newest team member - will he accept that he isn't an only child any more?!
And will Nori settle into his new home in the Scottish Highlands?

My father was from the North East. His name was Norman. All his workmates called him Norri. How sweet that he now has a namesake. 😊. Norri will have a great life with the Skye Life clan.

The look on Jack Spaniels face while sitting on the end of the couch next to Willie was hysterical. All that it needed was a thought bubble that read, "I told you this was not a good idea, are you ready to send him back yet?" But in the end they will be playing run and chase before you know it. Congratulations to you all, soon you will have two wonderful pups to take on adventures and explore the wild with! 💜💜
Ahaha yeah he was totally in the ‘send him home’ phase at that point 😅 He has since moved into the suspicious but tolerant phase, but also desperately begs to be allowed to play with him too…

It's a fine balance isn't it, giving your new puppy love and attention whilst not leaving their sibling out. You have handled it beautifully. I love Springers. We've had two over the years.....Dylan and Neo. Lovely, hardy, water loving loyal dogs ...with a cast iron stomach. They can literally eat anything! ❤️ 😂

No way!!, Cramlington is where I live. Moved here with my husband, was not expecting little Nori to be Geordie. I didn't know Jack was a Geordie too.

We had a miniature schnauzer and then got another one six years later, a wee brother. Freddie and Barney. Amazing relationship between the two. Huge entertainment. The older one matured dramatically looking after the wee skitter!

I have one large vet bed for my Border terrier pup; I cut it in half so one to use whilst others being washed in the machine. They dry really quick and are like sheepskin rugs, also any wee goes through so they don’t lie on the wet whilst still learning. We took our pup out every half hour, then hourly and so on as he got older and he was house trained really quickly; he just ate puppy pads!. Also not sure if you know but the laws changed recantly and a dog HAS to be restrained in a vehicle - crate, harness on a seatbelt or dog guard or you can be heftily fined!, Have fun! X
Our 6 year old dog Bertram, spent 2 weeks on the window cill, before deciding to check our new puppy Frankie out. Nori and Jack are adorable ❤

I bet you could create a puppy snoring video which loops/replays and market it as a wonderful sleep aide. If you could somehow get puppy breathe smells to come on as well, even better.

Nori is fearless when it comes to Jack and exploring the garden (and the burn…😅). He’s a little bit scared of other people though, so we are working on socialising him gradually, so we can go back to the pub at some point!!

Having grown up with English Springer Spaniels, they are a favorite of mine. Of the 5 we had, ( 3 were adopted from a shelter ) only 1 was crazy. The other 4 were such calm, gentle dogs. When I had my first baby, our only Springer left, was so excited to see him, she shook all over. She came and gave him the most gentle kisses and would always lay right near wherever he was sleeping. They were the best dogs we ever owned. Nori is going to be a wonderful addition to Skye Life Cottage! X
