@BenandEmily Pin? 😉
@Daytona2 thanks 😅
Off topic, but I have a Vogelzang "boxwood" stove in my 1 car garage. Designed for burning hardwood pallets. Wow does it ever make Rambler's stove seem microscopic. 😄
Ben and Emily plus Alan. It doesn't matter where you are, we know it will be good. Don't worry, you won't be losing us. Thank you for sharing your adventures, hope you're safe from the floods.
Well that’s wonderful! Change is good, expansion. Fear not, we will be with you everywhere!❣️
You are two angels come down to earth to give to us all. Your beautiful energies make us keep coming back🙏🏻😇😇
Awesome I can't wait for your video update ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️
Ireland The Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula is absolutely beautiful. xxxx
Love the shot of that chubby gray cat bookin’ it! So cute!
More of Bennies music..please...also would loved to see more of the pub. ( another place i don't. Get to go now that i am disabled.) I will be going along with you wherever you go.
I live vicariously with y'all on the canals now I guess I get to live vicariously over Europe
Go on a fear of flying course. My Hubby flew had a few moments that put him off so it was overland travel He loved driving down to the Eurotunnel into France travelling into Spain right down to the Costa Blanca. Then when the low cost carrier's started he thought he would go on a course...He went on a BA Course at Manchester Airport and never looked back! I work in Travel but couldn't persuade him to get back on a Plane. He does have his relaxing music on the plane.I let him have the window seat. The irony of it all he loves Plane Spotting and knows so much about different aircraft. We fly next month to Spain.Last year he flew 6 times.
Knowing both boats are safe the world is your oyster
Hi Ben and Emily I will stay with you all Yr new vlogs and Yr van build so all the best for 2024 👍
A little dab of mild locktite or gummy glue on the "tickover" screw will keep it where it belongs, and still let you adjust it. Here in the great white north, we learn young that it's no treat being out 2 miles in the bay with a storm brewing and your tickover screw is acting up. Lovely Show kids.
I've been subscribed for about 4 months and loved your videos so much, that I went back to the start and only just reached the end 😄 can't to see the van build! Me and my mum have a 1996 van and are hoping to start renovating it sometime in Feb, to live full time with our pomeranian dog and new ragdoll kitten 🥰❤😁 x
Great news. Best of luck in 2024. Re: gigs. There’s a blues bar in Chicago that hires blues bands to drive around on pickup trucks and play a few tunes at each intersection in the city and some suburbs. Pickup trucks make a great stage.
Cool idea 💡. Maybe we could do that in our city for our Bluesfest, instead of the feedlot set-up we have for the audience
Nice to see Emily showing her love a kiss :-) so glad your news is positive was dreading what you were going to say good job guys
Well all the luck in the world guys, as I am sure you already know van conversions and vanlife bring their own challenges and rewards. We bought our sprinter a couple of years ago and have been getting out and about but wistfully watch you videos envious of peace and quiet and gentler pace of life. A rolling stone gathers no moss and if it's your time to mix it up? then go for it. The burning question will surely be will you have one van or one each ;-)
Travel keeps the music fresh...
Hi you
3 ĺove your vlogs5 and your new sofa! Wishing you a blessed 2024,Bruce
Looking forward to watching Alan's (oh and Alan's servants ) new adventures ! As for journeys, why not consider the 190 km Göta canal crossing Sweden from Gothenburg to Stockholm. You can do this by hire boat or on the Juno. All locks are manned so easy.
Scandinavia via Denmark. Norway you can wild camp anywhere, mountains and waterfalls.
😮❤️
Sounds crazy but my step dad got hypnotised for his fear of flights, he’s totally closed minded about it but worked straight away after a couple of sessions, worth a try! Enjoy your travels, hopefully see you out in the road in the vans x
IMO the Spain & Portugal van trip episodes were some of the best and funniest of all time on this channel, so looking forward to more like that in 2024.
You asked for recommendations on where to travel. I recommend Andalucia in Southern Spain and, especially the Alpujarras Mountains. You travel north from the coast and beaches and up into the most beautiful mountain scenery, with snow on the top even when the weather is warm sunshine on the costas. You can hike or hire bikes. You’ll love it.
But to be honest, as long as you two are together, it won’t matter much where you go.
Sounds like fun😊 enjoy yourselves life is too short not to 👍🏻
Oh my word what fun your having and the van looks epuc
Dear Ben and Emily, its life. Love it, changes come and progress to other realms enabling adventures elsewhere. I love your vlogs. Keep going, Live, Love, Laugh and enjoy the journey together. ❤
By a sailing yacht, you too would make a great world cruising you tube channel.
Look forward to your new adventures obviously you have to make room for us. You’re going nowhere without us. Love ya lots as always. Trevor & Linda xxx
Heheh thanks so much. Yes! Please do join us! 🥰✨️
Good ideas for traveling...love all the different adventures...
I will definitely be sticking with you! It sounds exciting and I wish you all the luck in the world. Take care ❤
Change is good. Have fun. I enjoy your videos.
Wow so much news, enjoy i have been watching you from the beginning and you come on so far Live long and prosper 😊
You can overcome the fear of flying at any of the major airports around the UK, as they do courses for people that have a fear of flying, and when you’ve even finished the course they take you on a brief flight so that they can show you it’s not that bad
Looking forward for your next adventure Takecare Emily and Ben all the best Andy zoom
Exciting news!
We love the folly
Excited to follow your land travels, boat travels, maybe even air travels. Emily, you were able to tackle the cliff edge in that one video. Air travel should be a breeze in comparison.
Can’t wait for your new adventures
I know Benny is a musician, love his music but what does Emily do something creative I’m sure, good luck in your future travels
Exciting times ahead.❤❤❤❤❤
Good luck for your new adventures, looking forward to watching xx
I will be here watching avery saterday morning from Quebec Canada,,,love your chanel ❤❤
Nope here to watch you guys, live and grow, sounds exciting. Drive the Scandinavian area and artic circle.
Interesting, my daughter lives in Switzerland and has been pushing the French canals. Also, anything on the Dutch canals would be welcome too since I worked there for a while. You do have a good channel and I will stay with you but my primary interest is in narrowboating and sailing. I like your video style so that makes your videos entertaining and should appeal to a wider audience if the content is opened up a bit. Good luck B&E!
What exciting news. Really happy for you and can't wait to see the New Year adventures. Maybe a trip to the Arctic Circle.... Or maybe the South of France and everything in between. Have a beautiful week and much Aloha!💖🌈🤙🥰
Sticking with, whether on water or land
I will still be enjoying the pleasure of your company on every episode, as usual. Such a wonderful series with two lovely people. Thank you. And Alan, of course. Would miss him if he wasn't with you. BTW, if/when you do make it to Ireland, the West Coast is the prettiest part. This is where I live, in Clifden and would take pleasure in meeting you and buying you a drink. Whatever you decide, I wish all three of you every success and happiness all the way.
Wow eastern europe would be so neat!
Exciting, looking forward to your future travels.
I flew regularly for years...then experienced two near crashes...one in a large plane through an electric storm...the other in a light aircraft with a fuel problem on ascent from takeoff. Subsequently spooked every time I flew so saw a hypnotherapist for two sessions only...never had a problem flying since. Good luck !
New adventures with Ben, Emily and Alan?? I'm in!
Thats great News, and i will follows you at your new adventure. I watch your Videos Not only because im interested in boats, its more of the people behind this Lifestyle and i Like your personality. I think/believe you are in real as "crazy" AS you are in your Videos. So im excited whats Happen in Future. Greetings from Germany and thanks for Sharing.
I wish you well your new adventures i hope it works well for you both
Sounds great can't wait for the new adventures
The idle adjustment screw should have a spring around it. The specific purpose of the spring is to prevent it loosening off. An easy fix!
Rambler is like one of those magic squares We had when we were kids ( I'm 68, so that was a time ago lol) I'll be watching your great videos for as long as I am around!
I can’t wait to see your travels!!! 😊😊
The birds are Fieldfares and Redwings, which are Thrushes.
This is the first time of watching your channel, so we're hoping to get to know you. Now you're changing plans and maybe leaving the canals, but we will stay with you and see how it goes. Good luck.
Can’t wait,bring it on 🤘🏻😃🤘🏻
We’re so excited for the news!! Looking forward to seeing the new adventures 😊 Definitely recommend the NC500 if you haven’t already done it 😊
I (Wes) used to be really bad for flying, but for a while at work I had to fly super regularly, and although it was intimidating, taking lots of very short flights really helps. Perhaps you could plan a trip where you do several
Love to see you got your sofa from an English company nd when you said emerald and I could see blue I was thinking of mentioning it but I explained that it was a green 💚 colour.Wish you both of luck 🍀 in your venture..😊
Good luck with the new venture 😊. You guys have got to try the Republic of Ireland 🇮🇪 and especially the Ring of Kerry
Can't wait for your new adventures x
Sometimes Benny's voice is quite Bowie-esque.
Hypnotism worked for a friend's fear of heights, and she was extremely sceptical. It might work for flying too.
I've at last acquired my own boat! She's a bit bigger than Rambler, but nowhere near as big as Roisín. One day I plan to have her shipped across the channel, and work my way down to Marseille.
Thank you for taking us along with you. I'm looking forward to your land-locked travels, but if I crave more water I can go back and watch you from the start.
I am sticking with you. I love you guys x Go and see the world. I bet Alan is excited. Napton and Stratford on Avon are near to where I live.x
Great news! Sounds exciting!
Fear of flying used to be medicated using diazepam. Not sure if they still do that, but it takes a trip to the doc and request a written note (as airport regs can demand a note, if they see you under the influence). Might be advisable to also have a tablet you can take before the day of the flight so you know what to expect.
I also compose and like your music.
Excited for your next chapter
8 hour nite logs would be ideal for your small wood burning stove.
Ohhhhhhh funnnnn!!! I’m building out a van!! I can’t wait to see what you come up with!!!
very exciting guys! (the way that weaves is on heavy rotation in my car atm - love it) keep on smilin xx
You two are more than the narrow boat. Along for the ride-should be fun and exciting!
As long as you post I'm interested ! Benny makes such beautiful music , and Emily videos grab such wonderful feelings. The way you two share you life journey is so honest &charming . Love the vlogs .
Brilliant, time for a change. EasyJet do courses on fears of flying I think?
Hi Alan.Tell them we like your catcam work and expect you to contribute to the 2024 adventures.Besr wishes for whatever you all do in the future. Bob
I have a phobia of flying too. When I have to fly (not very often) I get the doctor to prescribe Valium for me. I wouldn't recommend it on a frequent basis but occasionally. You could try hypnosis but you have to get a good therapist. Looking forward to seeing your further adventures..
Congratulations on the plans.
We split our time in our narrow boat and campervan. Adventure began with campervan 20 years ago and narrow boat 10 years ago. We love touring in France and Spain - often our routes follow rivers from ocean to source (or the other way round). Go for it.
Good Luck! Looking forward to following along in this new year.
British airways and others do courses to overcome a fear of flying that involve psychology sessions followed by a flight. Might be worth looking into one of those as if you’d like to fly in the future.
I’ve just found your channel what a wonderful couple I can’t wait to watch back through your journey ❤
Thanks so much! 😊
Exciting plans. Sounds v interesting!
I worked for an airline for 29 years .. 'Fear of Flying' is totally logical & intelligent. Being locked inside a metal tube, sky high for hours is barely tolerable. Have fun.
Where ever you go and do will be amazing ……we will keep watching all the vids …..here is to lots of happy travelling ……👍👍👍👍
I bet you could airbnb your boat/s for the times you're gonna be gone. :)
Looking forward to your new adventures!
And kind of want one of those sofas 😅
Nice one I’ll be booking my ticket to come with you two bob
Best of luck in your new ventures, we are with you all the way. Enjoy, we are looking forward to it. Take care and love to Alan x 👍❤️
So glad I found your channel.
I too have a fear of flying, which seems to be getting worse with age.
Must be a past life thing 😊
Fall in love with the idea you want to get on the plane and go somewhere
Ben Emily & Alan this is all fantastic news 😊 the sofa is lovely. It’s been a pleasure to watch you all from the start 🥰 and I’m sure the next chapters will be brilliant too , wishing you all the happiness in your new home❤
It will be so fab to watch you both travel around Britain and Ireland in your van and I can’t wait to see your travels in Europe! Have wonderful fun and we will all love watching you as usual.❤🦌❤😊
Exciting times! Will be looking forward to your travels around Scotland 💖
Ben, Emily and Alan, looking forward to your adventures but don’t worry about content, we love you, I would be quite happy to watch you sitting on your sofa and cooking dinner for Half an hour x
Alans new scratching post (x2) 😂
AHH memories. I had my 50th birthday in the pub at Napton after coming down the flight on a VERY windy day. (30 years ago). Good luck and much happiness on your travels.
Yey. So happy to hear about the plans.I am 70 this year so I think our travel plans in our motorhome are a bit limited now .but we have visited some amazing places in Europe and uk. Handing the baton to you lovely people. Can’t wait to join you xxx
Sound exciting, I for one will still follow you. I started following Life in a Nutshell when they were on the canals over here, they are now sailing the southern oceans in their yacht. If your looking for a holiday here in Wales, how about hiring a boat on the Monmouth and Brecon canal or visiting some of the many narrow gauge railways here in Wales. How about visiting Pembrokeshire, lots of history here. I actually live near the place where the last invasion of Britain took place in 1797 when a French force of soldiers landed. they were heading for Bristol but wind blew them of course. they serenaded on Goodwick Beach after being fooled into thinking a massive force was coming up against them, the force where Welsh Women in tradisanal costume which resembled the army of the times. One welsh woman captured 12 French soldiers with just a pitchfork, her name was Jemima Nicholas. see link below.

I am so excited about your new adventures. What ever you do will be amazing. Love you to bits no matter what you do. Enjoy. Have fun. Glad you aren't doing a DIY but would be withbyou either way. Much love to you also. ❤
