நானும் இந்த ஹோட்டல்ன் ரசிகன். ஒரு ரெண்டு வருடதுக்கு முன் கும்பகோணதுக்கு போன போது, தற்செயலாக ஒருவர் மூலம் கண்டுபிடித்தோம். நன்றி சில போட்டோ கள் எடுத்த பொது, அவர்கள் அனுமதிக்க வில்லை. இங்கு சட்னி இன்னும் கையில் தான் ஆட்டி தயார் செய் கிறார்கள். அடுத்தது சில தோசை அய்டங்கள் விறகு அடுப்பு மூலம் தயார் செய்கிறார்கள். கடைசில் 100 வருஷம் ஆன போர்டு மட்டும் போட்டோ எடுத்து கொண்டு வந்தேன்.

Really very nice. அற்புதமான சாப்பாடு. வீட்டு சாப்பாடு போல அத்தன ருசி அதுவும் மாமா மாமியின் அன்பான உபசரிப்பு. அதுவும் கோவில் சன்னதியில் இருப்பது இன்னும் அருமை.நேற்று தான் போய் சாப்பிட்டோம்.
100 வருடம் கடந்து வெற்றிகரமாக இயங்கும் இந்த உணவகம் இன்னும் பல தலைமுறை மக்களுக்கு உணவளித்து மகிழ்விக்க நான் கடவுளை வேண்டுகிறேன்

Yes monoj. Last two months back I was in kumbakonam I have misguided by some fellows and taken food mangalambiga hotel near by poo Market and adjacent to kumbaswarar kovil. After that only I know this old one is near by kubeshwarar sannidhi. After that next day I had eaten tiffen in this sri msngalsmbiga vilas

I am from Sirkazhi. Whenever my dad used to visit Kumbhakonam for shopping on those days he used to visit their and inform us about the refreshments he enjoyed including having degree coffee.He had a previlege of having refreshments st kitchen itself. This was a story of wayback in 1970.

Really looks very tempting food idly ghee roast chutney and sambar, I had never visited Kumbakonam, plans are there to visit, but sure I will have my mng break fast in this restaurant and night dinner.

We visited Kumbakonam a couple of times in 2017 and 2018 but did not get an opportunity to eat at this place. We found Venkataramana and fell in love with the homely tasty food there. My native place is Kumbakonam my childhood high school studies was there itself but badluck we shifted from there to Andhra. It is a temple town. Memorable place.

Sri Lakshmi Vilas, Venkata lodge, Venkata Ramana, Mangala Vilas, Udiphi , & Some night hotels are famous for different types of taste hotels and also dall & & coconut bolli's are famous in this hotels , when we walk through this hotels smell of Sambar will take inside this hotels , there's no words to say about the excellent of taste today we're missing all this 😊🤔😅😭😂

I still remember my first visit to this restaurant. It was during a visit toKumbakonam some 10 years ago. We were looking for some nice vegetarian restaurant to have lunch. Someone told us there was an old restaurant within the premises of Kumbeswarar temple. We went and saw the restaurant but since itwas a very small one and could not Impress us look wise; we hesitated but finally decided to try the food. Lo and behold, the food was so tasty and fresh and we relished it so much that we would take our tiffin for our journey from Kumbakonam to Bangalore only from there besides going to this hotel only during our further visits to the city.

My father is from Kumbakakonam. He died in his 90’ a year and a half ago. Mangalambika was his favorite place. Watching this video reminds me of him and how much I miss him.
