- AVE VERUM CORPUS (KV 618) composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart played on my Hauptwerk Organ sampled by Sonus Paradisi.
Mozart composed this beautiful motet in 1791 He set the 14th century Eucharistic hymn in Latin "Ave verum corpus"
The composition is only forty-six bars long and is scored for SATB choir, string instruments, and organ but in this arrangement it is for the organ solo.

You’re very welcome
This is your beautiful shot of a particularly good arrangement. Excellently constructed Crescendi❤️!
In my youth, it felt like every choir in every church service and every organist had this in their program.
The movement by Mozart is indeed a little miracle. I hope it never grows too old!
Thank you Philip. That piece made the hairs on my arms stand up. Lovely piece and played perfectly and emotionally. Yet again 100% my friend.

Beautiful!! Which sampleset did you use? And where can I get the sheet music of this transciption? Greetings from Germany (I‘ve got exactly the same organ 😁)
Dear Christoph. Thank you so much. I am afraid I cannot share the score, because it is not myself who have made this arrangement. It is by a danish organist called Lasse Toft Eriksen, who has his own CZcams channel!
The sample set I use is that of Rotterdam by Sonus Paradisi!
Wow Phillip, beautiful! Can you publish the arrangement?
Dear Alexander. Thank you so much. I am afraid I cannot because it is not myself who have made this arrangement. It is by a danish organist called Lasse Toft Eriksen, who has his own CZcams channel!
Hi @@philipaggesen. Thanks! I can't sem to find it, can you provide a link? Thanks again!!!
A beautiful recording that radiates a certain holiness through its calmness and great legato.
Which arrangement is it? At least not the one by Liszt, I would guess from the use of pedals.
Thank you Nils-Ole. It is by a danish organist called Lasse Toft Eriksen. He actually has his own CZcams channel!
It was lovely. I’d personally rather you used a number of pistons rather than the cresc pedal. so that you could be choosy about the stops.
Thank you so very much. If you look closely you can see that I actually use my foot pistons to switch through the stops ;)
