I admire how you did all this with a smile on your face. I would be freaking out (ive my hair almost same length as yours).

I swear I love how optimistic you are during the bleaching process, i have naturally black hair and I recently went through the whole bleaching and toning.. and bleaching process again lol, I literally could not remain this happy and cried a bit lol. Nonetheless you look so beautiful with this shade you did an amazing job. <3

It might not seem as much, but it's actually a lot lighter & brighter than when you started. And very little to no damage at all which is amazing. You did a better job than most salons!

I’m glad you showed the honest process here for how hard it is to get a nice lift and color when starting from dark brown. It’s not easy and takes the right products and patience. Great video!

Hey Aubrey, you're super cute. Just a tip for next time - make sure you put the lightener / bleach on you mid lengths and ends BEFORE you do the roots. That way you won't have to risk the integrity of your hair by bleaching it twice. Also, Manic Panic Ultra Violet is a toner for white blond hair. It won't do anything on your level of hair colour. To counteract the orange tones you could try a blue direct deposit colour mixed in with conditioner.

I'm glad that you like your hair, that's all that matters. But, if you decide to try again I really recommend trying some different products. I recommend blue flash lightener, it's cheap and can be found at Sally's. It lightens your hair enough so usually one round is enough. And for a toner/dye I say stick to Wella. Those are the two brands I use and I maintain white blonde hair. Every once in awhile I switched it up to dark red, brown, silver, and I can get it back to white maybe in 1-2 sittings of bleach and 1 toning session. I have used manic panic since it's pretty great with dyes but a lightener I do not like it. And to keep my hair from damaging I just put coconut oil in my hair over night before applying bleach. Works wonders!

If u want to make ur hair more ashy, next time use Matrix 5 minutes blue toner with 3% oxidant for the levels 8 to 6 , so it will be more ash. Violet toner is only for light blondes- anything levels 10 to 8. This one looks good as well 😀
