try the c10 with showcase suspension, drift tires, showcase diff and put a twin turbo 6.2l v8 and its the easiest truck to handle or to begin to use
There is no twin turbo it's only a dual turbo completely different

I'll have to try this and see if it works better than my Vette. I've been drifting a C7 Corvette. No engine swap, all Ultimate+ parts, Twin Turbo'd, Speedcross suspension, Drag tires, and Speedcross Diff. It drifts like a DREAM. Hitting triple the 3 star goals of most of the drift zones. It drifts SO much better than any other car I've tried. This includes the 240z, 180sx, 350 and 370z, rx7, both miatas, all the mustangs, and the dodge viper.
Might have goof'd. Not at my game now or when I posted. I'm using the suspension and diff. that are road/drift. Pretty sure that's speedcross but I could be mistaken.

I just still use 350z with drift suspension, drag tires and drift differential and had no problems. Grinded the drift zones in 2 hours lol.
Im on speedcross suspension w drag tires and showcase diff and i smashed the zones in a lil less than 2 hours and almost made 1M haha
willy I only had to use speedcross when I did off-road drift zones but other than that it was easy as fuck with the right car and parts. I gave up on it at first cause I couldn't get it down with other cars but once I used the 350z it was so easy lol.

Ive been running super showcase suspension, elite drift tires, super showcase differentials on RX7 with auto transmission and finally link drifts with ease now. Having a ton of fun with it. Thanks for the tips on not using drag tires and speedcross shit, drift/showcase parts are definitely the only way to truly master the drift in this game.

With automatic I have found that keeping the clutch stock helps with the shifting up and down in and out of the corners it keeps you near redline without shifting or bouncing off the limiter.

CrayG is right!!, Drift parts are usable. It's all about practicing with the drift setup, on my s15 I'm running a similar setup with an Ultimate screw supercharger (for torque), Pro drift suspension and Super drag tires. On this track I made 700k points w this setup, hope it helps u guys

I personally love Speedcross parts I use them on my RX7 with high end downforce and medium turn sensitivity along with brake drift tuning. I sometimes need to use the handbrake to transition my turns. This build feels a lot like NFS Payback. Having a car that can drive clean in free roam and run from cops is a must for me. My drift scores are a little lower but I easily get 3 stars in all drift events.

Loving this setup on my 180sx. Don’t have ultimate parts yet but it still feels good. The v6 defs makes it feel a lot better cus has the forged SR20 in it and it didn’t feel as good

Well I tried, but i think i'll keep the zo6 with drag tires. I think it feels better on long corners with high speed where you need some good traction
LISTEN to this man! I've just started to discover using lower tier drift parts can really bring a build together. Also, when he talks about stance he's right! STANCE MATTERS! Mess with your camber/ride height and you will notice a difference

I figured out drifting last week. In order to hold a slide for an extended period of time you have to keep tapping the gas. Like button smashing type tapping the gas. If you keep button smashing the gas the car will hold the slide. You also have to counter steer the same way. Constantly tapping the joystick in the direction of the slide. They way the game explains it to you you think you just release the gas then get back on it one time and the tail kicks out and will hold the angle. Anyone who has tried it knows the car kicks the tail out then suddenly grips and shoots off track. In order to keep the car in a slide you have to button mash that gas trigger to the point your index finger is about to cramp. I use this with automatic transmission and it works. You can even link corners together if you time the transition right with the ebrake. You'll notice that when you button smash the gas the car kind of locks into a crab walk and it will hold the drift for much longer corners. I use drift suspension and speed cross tires.
Coming from horizon or GT where you have to finesse the throttle will throw you off. You have to treat it like an arcade game and keep tapping the buttons to get drifting down in nfs heat.

@@smasters01 yeah keep tapping the gas, even if you don't think you need to, just keep tapping it through the whole corner. When you get the hang of it you'll be able to pull off some amazing numbers.

I cant use manual but with the s15 it's still drag tyres for me cos of that I think try the i8 as a drift car was surprised and the Amg gt convertible is a beast probs my most enjoyable drift car atm I do the same for race cars always have race tyres then try all different parts on the other until I find the setup that's enjoyable to drive not necessarily quickest

My yeehaw ass been using a forged 4.7 swapped Cougar with a 4 speed and a showcase diff with everything else stock. Getting like 600k in some drift runs
Yo I also use the Razer wolverine ultimate, I mapped the shift buttons to the paddles on the back but I couldn't get used to it, I like it on triangle and circle, just gonna wait till they make that available...

Try using drag tyres on a powerfull car with maxed out drift and race/track (whichever is on the bottom) it works amazing its sometimes hard to have fully clean drifts but its great for hitting very high scores
