I put this motor in mine mated with the 4 speed trans and that’s been a deadly combo for me in the 180. My Silvia has the 4.0 too. I love those motors!
I dropped a Forge I6 in the R34, with Ultimate+ parts and it gets the same 400+ rating, as well as topping out at 234mph (No Nitrous). It does really well with the six speed auto trans. On long races fifth and sixth gear get you to top speed really well.
The strat to the nos on sonic is simple. Use four out of 5 bottles out the gate. Use one after the first turn. Save the nos for the halfway stretch. Use the refill. After the cut use 3 bottles. Then use one bottle after each turn for the rest of the race. Make sure you use the second refill.
I wish we would get more in-game information about the different engines and their potential, and also the 4 stats (hp/0-60/ft-lb/top-speed). Can be confusing and expensive sometimes.
I ran the 200 test with the 3.8 V8 and it picks up faster than the 4.0 V8 and 3.8 V6. I got 223 mph while 4.0 V8 was 217 mph and 3.8 V6 I got 217 as well. Idk, maybe its just preference.
I personally dont need anything but a Give away of the game , for new viewers would be good i think. Either way good shiz man ur content is so good and i think its mainly bcs u have such a chill vibe.

I've been running de 4.0l flat6 and idk I still prefer it over the 4.0l V8 in the S13. You have 2k more rpm and since I drive manual it feels better for downshifting in corners. It's a wider band of power. With the S15 I run the 4.0l V8 because there's no much option there.
Yo Craig, check out the 4.4 V8 for Nissan Skyline GT-R R34, was able to push the 0-60 in 2 seconds. Be sure to use ON-ROAD tires, not racing, not track. The setup I got is Twin Turbo (all ultimate+ parts too), Super Track suspension, Onroad tires, Pro track differential, not sure about the rest but if you got a PS4 and you wanna play hit me up, or you can just message me on here for the rest of the tune. Currently not on my PS4 so I can't tell you the exact tune.
You can get the bmw m5 f90 and swap its engine with the forged 1,430 Bhp engine and put the ultimate + parts and here you go. You get the best car in the game with 400+ general rate and 10 on all rating bars if you add the dual turbo ultimate + and any ultimate + nitro of your choice.
The s15 is my dream jdm car too, my dream muscle 69 mustang, preferably a 429 but I doubt I'd be able to every find one so I would still accept the 302
Duh who would have thought the v8 with bigger displacement would be better choice. There’s one of those hidden gems for most cars hidden with low cost and speed rating. I look at torque, if it’s close to the higher priced engines modding it is gonna bring rating up to match or pass the higher rated motor.
If you just strictly drag racing 3.8l v8 with all ultimate parts dual turbo elite+ track suspension and diff elite+ drag tires with a 4 speed will pull your 1/4mi at 8.37

Just found another hidden gem, the Corvette Grand Sport with the 3.9l V8 engine is insane. I got a 2:43 on Sonic with it. I know your a tuner guy, but you should try it out! it can keep up with the F40 and other top tier cars
I believe I have tested all the engines. And looking at the stats you shown. I would need to check but on the nissan there is a much faster option. As for the s15. I had recently changed its engine as well and significantly improved. I'd have to check.
You *should* be able to go under 3 minutes without Nitro on Sonic. I have a couple of cars that will do it. @CrayG, try the 2000 GTR with that V8 (I think it takes that one), it's a beast. ;)

Im just curious. Are you tried all the other full spec engines you mentioned, or just judged, by the stats? Some channel mentioned the engines even change the handling of the car and that is not presented in the stats.

Not sure if you’re aware but the 245hp 3.8V6 makes 1078 ft lbs of torque- so you might wanna test that one out and see if it’s possibly faster 🤔
I think the 3.8l v6 is the best engine for the 180sx it maxes out at 975hp and 1078 torque.

Yep. That's what I run on mine but I run supercharged and my 0-60 is 2.33 and still need two ultimate plus parts.

The silvia doesnt lose much speed in corners like the rsr so i think that it could be faster

I swapped both Silvias with the R35's V6 over the AMG or McLaren V8.
Dragging the highway outside the shop the 240 with drag tires and the 4.0 inline 6 has been literally untouchable on an even start.

The weight of the engine changes the handling I've come to realise .. ie bigger litre will make the car heavier
They don't have a high enough potential horsepower to make them worth being tested
