- Team Tandem drift events with up to 2 or more players. Drift as close as possible with other drivers (without contact) to exceed the 4x multiplayer to stack even more points.
- Two drivers drifting side by side increases multiplier to 5x or 6x. The more drivers drifting in a tandem (drift train) will further increase the multiplier eg. 3 drivers = 7x, 4 players = 8x etc.
- This will encourage crew drift battles. Crews co-operate as a team and compete for the highest drift scores against other crews.

My theory on why we can’t downshift when we use the E-brake is because the creators of NFS Heat is trying to give it a realistic feeling with it. Let’s say, you have a drift car IRL with a stick shift and a lifted E-brake, you actually have to let go of the E-brake completely to do a shift. That is the exact same thing that happeneds in Heat. By doing my own research on this I found out that it works completely the same as IRL, try it for yourself and you will notice it!

CrayG has not noticed or tried Brake to Drift I see. Not an attack, but, people should know:
When choosing BTD your Handbrake strength becomes so weak, it cannot power slide your car around corners and you CAN STILL initiate drifting via 2x tapping of Gas pedal. It's NOT old BTD at all. It's shit.
When you use GTD the front tires can lock forward when you're taking a corner which, again, is something you DON'T want to happen. Handbrake in GTD works spectacularly well.

Well on the part where you’re talking about not being able to shift while hitting the e brake, I think they added that for the realism idk if you know about drifting irl. I know in previous videos you’ve mentioned that you don’t know a lot about cars and that you’re still learnin. But drifting in NFS shouldn’t be as complicated as it is and this incoming from someone who learned to drift playin Gran Turismo
Exactly this, there is only one thing your gear hand can do at a time, shift or pull the brake, but this is an arcade racer, so im not sure its needed in this style of game
No time limit. Just make it so that people can take their time down the hill to gain maximum points. Also another thing they could add is like a checkpoint right before the finish that starts a timer not allowing the guy in first to cross the finish line until the timer goes down to zero. Like a 30 second timer.
Good point, I hate time limits. Just as the time runs out is when I find my drifting sweet spot, lol.

Would be perfect for people playing in a party to choose wether they want a delay between each other taking off at the start. Or they can all just go at same time to tandem. So many things they could do to improve drifting in nfs heat.
Like that it allows other racers who wish to stay away from the pack in order to maintain high multiplier without crashing into others or others crashing into them.

I use showcase drag showcase,the best drift setup in the game..by far
if anybody has a problem with playing like that go to settings on your ps4 or xbox change the buttons the way you feel more controble i did that and i feel wayy better 😊 playing it now as fact i past it 2 times already and took me like 2 days each time began a game

Spot on bro, I knew I wasn’t going crazy lol... my car wouldn’t down shift and I thought I was trippin or game had lag lol. It’s been buggin me a lot on tight tracks, hopefully they fix the drift parts on the next update but for now I’ll use whatever it takes lol.

The drifting is nowhere near as realistic. You hit the e-brake and it slows you down to quick for starters, transitions are too slow and clunky when you use e-brake, forcing you to either stop too fast, or instantly stops the drift and forces your car to an instant grip position. What they need to do is simple. Make the e-brake lock the tires and nothing more. The rest is all steering until you get back on the gas.
They should make a third drift option where drifting is done strictly by using e-brake, no gas or brake to initiate.

Dont forget how mid drift you hit ebrake to transition and it stopd your drift completely and goes into a hard grip mode style. They need to remove that completely. Just make ebrake completely lock your rear tires and it will be good.

I go with drift parts! Sometimes I install my on-road suspention depending the track Im going, but still go with Drift tires and differential. Other times its Drift parts all the way. Its hard? It is! Harder than Drag, Show, Speed and all that? It is indeed! You have to work much more with the pedals and the wheel? You do!! But when you do it, then you really feel like a Pro!!
Drifting on s15 is easy when you got the right setup, i dont even really using e-break, i just weight transfer..
People still didnt get how realistic drift parts work in this game. They actually think the realistic one are the drag stuff and shit, the ones that make them drift like pros without even work with the pedals and the handling. "Oh, but I can make a lot of points". So?? But you cannot get the enjoyment of a real drift made by your hands.

They have a lot of updates to make the game better (especially drifting) & to keep us interested. Imo i don’t think the game was complete and they rushed it to meet a deadline but it’s still a fun game tho...

the drifting you mean with the time should be a time trial drift race just like the time trials they have now in heat just to be drifts or even to make custom drift maps thru out the city or map
I mean you're not supposed to downshift while holding the E-rake it's not how it works in real life but I definitely think drift events need to allow multiple players at once and I feel like we need to be able to tune our angle...if they don't want to give us sliders at least make the drift suspension give us more angle
I beat the game hella fast too, and the gameplay got pretty dry for me as well. Wish I was in a crew with some active people.
They need to include drift zones. When you leave the drift zone or hit an object your multiplier resets. I could rank up a million points not drifting lol that doesn’t make any sense 🤣🤣
If you use brake to drift you can still shift well..
Also brake to drift on circuit cars will get the awd abd fwd cars out faster because e brake robs your speed
Edit: plus you can use 3 fingers on the controller instwad of the usual 2..

I hope you know drifting was clearly done this way on purpose it's not a mistake the drift parts work as intended. Link drifting doesn't give you points like other game it ends your drift combine that with low drift score requirements to complete events with 3 laps each the game simply doesn't want you to do big drifts just small scoring single drifts.

It should keep the position multiplier, honestly. Think about it : if you want to stay 1st, you obviously need to go fast, means you can only get so much out of each corner. And obviously, you can fight for it and trouble or overtake first, or just gain a lead in the beginning and then go slower when people are too far away from you. At the other hand, you can willingly forfeit the multiplier to do wide and slow corners, which was still a win btw. Beeing 1st only meant it was easier, but never guaranteed. Deleting the multiplier would just mean people would absolutely exploit the track and never move on with the actual track to farm points within the least track distance, not to mention that the current drift event coding is generally trash and let's you go off-road. Top-tier drift records are literally with AT LEAST a 3rd of their points gathered offroad, away from the track, and what fun is an event where you do better the slower you go?
And even then, NFS'15 had both types of drifts : Sprints with position multiplier and timed circuits without multiplier.
What you're suggesting literally means punishing people for going fast. In a racing game.
People these days are super competitive, they WILL exploit everything they can.
