Pelvic lymph nodes

  • Lymphatic drainage of tissues of the body is more important than we realise and we take it for granted most of the time. The lymphatic fluid from the lower limbs and the pelvic region flows through a number of lymph nodes in the pelvis to find its way to the abdomen. Let's have a look at these groups of lymph nodes and try to better understand their anatomy.

damn this guy is amazing. finally understood this stuff. "But remember! The ovaries didn't start down here. They started higher and descended." I never realized why the ovaries drained so high in the body. Now this stuff freaking makes sense. It's a great test question too to ask about the ovary lymphatics so I might see it on my exam.

Loved this explanation! Can swollen lymphatic vessels you pointed to at 2:38 also somehow be in correlation with toes going numb from time to time? I feel like if a problem in spine (L5 that presents itself as toes going numb) which drains to lower part lymphnodes could also mean that you can feel it in the lymphnodes in the groin? Or am I mistaken?

Question...... where can I find info of the lymph system in the pelvis and lower lumbar? I had an accident 7 years ago and we are struggling to manage lower leg/foot oedema. It is causing pain and there doesn't seem to be a specific trigger for it.... trying to understand how the two connect. Basically I subluxed both sij's and it was stuck for 7 years

I’ve had an inguinal lymph node, the size of a typical almond just the nut for over 10 years I’d say it doesn’t really bother me nor do I feel it much casually I’ll feel a little bitty strain but that’s about it. I had a ultrasound done recently and it’s fine I was wondering should I remove it anyways or just let it be? Thank you so much for your time means a lot!

I noticed in many of your videos they have the issue of the Play-Doh not sticking to the model. One way to remedy this situation where it is not sticking to the model but more sticky to your finger is to spray the model with some isopropyl alcohol and just give it a enough time to completely air dry prior to applying any type of Play-Doh or silicone molding substance. And I don't know why or how this particular lymph node episode has shown on my tablet but I am starting to suspect that I have a major issue going on since I have been to the doctor several times complaining of severe pain in my in banal area and also in my clavicle where I can see and feel tons of these rocks bulging out in these areas which completely prevent me from doing anything at all even leaning forward or turning my head due to the extreme stiffness and pain. According to the ultrasound report it states that my lymph nodes are in excess of 10 cm in size. Since I've been in Las Vegas for over two years I have been attempting to get a general practitioner and that is completely impossible and the nurse practitioner never goes over any of your reports with you.
