Really happy that I found your channel. I've been diagnosed with general anxiety and didn't even realize I had it. Your tone and approach I think are exactly what I've needed. I'll definitely be watching more of these!
You are so spot on. The more I touched lymph nodes the more tender they had become. That immediately increased anxiety. I've been saying a lot of positive affirmations around health to reduce my insanity and it seems to be helping. This is a great video that I'm sure a lot of people struggle with. You are awesome.
May God bless you with all the happiness in the world 💕 your videos helped me get out my bad phase with same lymph node anxiety and doctors kept telling me that there's nothing to worry about but I couldn't calm my anxiety till I found your videos.may god bless you with everything you want ❤
Oh I wish I'd had this video when my anxiety fixated on lymph nodes . That was such a comprehensive and factual review of how we easily misinterpret perfectly normal nodes and its resulting effect on our thoughts , emotion and reactions. This will be such a powerful tool to anyone with this worry who views it . Thank you.
Thank you so much for this content. I’ve watched this specific video about 7 times… as lymph node anxiety tends to always return for me throughout my HA journey.
Bro i also feel lymph node in my neck And i m checking it through out whole day and concerning about it for last 3 days...i have found lymph node in both of the side in neck...
Great advice - I learned this with my neck - and it can take weeks before they stop hurting once you stimulate them... best advice, if you are really worried, ask a doctor to have a look and then just trust his advice and stop touching them so the pain can go away.
Thank you so much for this. I accidently came across a lymph node in my neck and have been feeling awful for 2+ weeks. It moves, isnt sore and the longer i leave poking at it the smaller it gets, although today my anxiety took over. This really helped me reset
I am so glad I came across this today..I’ve been doing exactly the same, been so worried and In a complete state 😢 Will defo be using your advise and stop this instantly.
Thank you so much for this video it help me a lot Im a breast cancer survivor for ten years and I fellt lymp nodes in my right neck and I so scared but after I watched your video it make me feel good .God bless u always
Me too breast cancer survivor of 5 years. Now I’ve got a thyroid nodule but all blood test for the thyroid is normal. You can see it in my neck but cancer is rare. It will probably go away if I stop checking my lymph nodes and stop touching it. Once you have found a lump on your breast and it’s cancer I think you end up with health anxiety. Really we should be living not worrying. ❤
Literally the funniest thing is that your video popped out as next after one i was watching "how to check your lymph nodes at home", u really did helped me, thank you
Worry is the key thing to all your problems the less you worry all your symptoms will go away. Remember worry Is stress and stress is what cause these things to happen in your body.
This is the most thing i want to hear. I had node under my jaw for over 2 years i didn’t have any symptoms until i googled. Then i got every symptoms of lymph node i become very fatigue, can’t eat but sometimes i feel it could be a real too. If you have symptoms reply please ❤
Dunno if this will get buried or not but thanks for doing this vid! I’ve been struggling with anxiety regarding my health for the last year now. Always touching my glands and feeling and them to make sure that I don’t have lymphoma or a metastasized tumor from somewhere else. I started going to more and more doctors visits because I get so far gone in my own head and thoughts, Googling symptoms and then believing that I have this disease or that disease. Just to find out from the actual doctors that I’m healthy. Not to be cheesy but you really helped settle the anxious thoughts that seem to permeate my thoughts all day. Sorry for the rant, but I’m glad I’m not the only one who does these things or feels this way.
Thank you so much for this video I'am breast cancer survivorv 10 yrs ago .but I felt lymp nodes in my right neck so Iworried I went to see my GP and my Gp said as long not getting bigger you be my fine. stll got the lymph node still same size. But when I watched your video Im strong now norhing to worry thanks to your video God bless you
This is what exactly I needed, I literally was checking my armpit few minutes ago. I saw two doctors and they confirmed to me that there is nothing to worry about and that it's normal but my brain is not convinced and I keep looking in Google and of course Google will always bring the worst cases and put them in front of you. The only thing that bothers me is that it hurts, shoulder, neck and sometimes armpit, so that makes me think again if maybe the doctor missed something or the symptoms are worsening. Thank you very much for this!
@@tejashrajput6817 Sorry I missed this. I'm now better, I needed to go see a therapist because the symptoms were worsening, and since then I feel a lot calmer and I don't check the nodes anymore. It was totally anxiety related :)
Going through the same since three months. Scans done, blood work done, nothing comes up. I feel my neck and shoulder swollen and painful at times but doctors are not taking me seriously. It is so frustrating.
I am anxious about this now too. I found it, kept tapping it, poking it, then forgot for 2 days and I checked thought was gone. But then I checked again and again until I felt it every time I touched below my jaw on the left side. Cannot see it but I feel it when touching my skin. Read all about all kind of lymphomas now. I am literally a mirror of how you were behaving. And I try to fight this health anxiety but somehow it catches me in these loops where I get like in a trance. Just checking and checking and verifying if it's still there or if it grew or I I have other symptoms.
This is so what I am going through again and what started my journey with all of this as well. It came back around again lately. I dug so far in my neck that I actually hurt it it got so bad, that I hurt my body. It makes me sad that I did this. I suffer from anxiety and OCD around health. I also know that it is a cycle and the more you feed it, the bigger the monster gets. So, then I got sad about doing it and knowing better.
I really appreciate this video I have been checking my sons lymph node relentlessly got him appointment at the dr ect. We haven’t got results back yet but either way this video helped me a lot mentally thank you
Thank you so much. I have a small, bean-size lump above my clavicle and I did get it checked, as I have always had throat problems, with swallowing, infections etc., and they said it was fine. He said my thyroid had quite a few nodules on, but obviously wasn’t concerned. Self diagnosis can be a nightmare sometimes and can get you more stressed. Thanks for a great video. I do feel much better listening to your advice ❤
I self-diagnosed trigeminal shingles a couple of months ago. Very hard lump at my jaw joint [this was my body fighting like a mofo to get rid of the infection], painful itching like HELL, and a few other symptoms. I think it's a good idea to look into things. Most of the time swollen lymph glands are nothing to worry about, especially if you're fighting off an infection--that's what they do. But if they are persistently swollen, you keep getting sick, etc. etc. go to the doctor no matter what Google says.
I truly appreciate you because I had a random lymph node swell I was scratching my neck randomly ,then bow felt one swollen and sore.... it went down in the first week after that it's never did it again but my awareness was more keen so I felt it again and it feels like a pea and For months its been a slow paranoia that finally turned to anxiety kept feeling it over and over again and this video helped thx so much...
Omg… same here . For me it’s been there for about few years , I’ve been assured it’s fine but my health anxiety makes me go back every few months and makes me sick worried :(
@SuperPrettyrose same actually..even the doctors can recognise me now that I am gonna ask the same question though I visit there in a gap of 3 -4 months
The lymph node on my neck started my health anxiety, had a PET scan (Normal)... Ultrasound (Normal) and lymph node biopsy (Normal). Spent thousands. All because I trusted Google and not my doctor. 5 years later, it's still there. Finally over my lymph node health anxiety.
I have had them for 10 years. I got them checked about a year ago and the doctors said it was fine. I got a ultra sound and blood work, it still worries me because I still think/touch them every day. See your comment helps me😌
Thanks for the video! Today I was shaving my beard and felt a little bump on my neck (not visible to see) and I immediately started to worry and booked a GP appointment. I'm pretty sure that I've felt it when I was younger but didn't even flinch at the time... but now that I'm 32 I've suddenly developed a state of concern around my health... sad really. If I'm like this at my age with no chronic illnesses and generally fit and healthy, I can't imagine what other people must be going through. I wish all of you good health and patience 🙏
@@haar1424 yup, no concerns by her at all, however for peace of mind, she's booked me in for a blood test to double check and make sure I'm fine overall :)
@@C4LIBEE good. I wish you good health always. I also have some lymph nodes behind the ear and jaw area, and one in the groin area. They are not visible, but I can feel them, and this makes me anxious.
Not so long ago, I found one under my jaw. I was so scared I was shaking constantly. Thought I had cancer and imagined myself dying in the hospital. After I realised it was normal, I stopped touching it and worrying about it. It doesn't bother me anymore. Thank God.
@@alexvolpe04 Hey bro, suffering from the same right now. Mine is pea sized but they come in all shapes and sizes. Im going to book and appointment and would advise you do the same. Not that it is anything to worry about it just eases your mind a lot. The risk of it being worse than it is is rare and googling it really doesn’t help as they shove the worst right in front of your face. You will only freak yourself out even more and set yourself in a paranoid state. Ive felt mine for about a week or so and sort of have a cold. I have a fairly weak immune system as it is due another medical condition but hopefully that it all it is. Usually they go from anywhere between 1-3 weeks but can also stay permanently and thats just how it is. Hope everything works out for you as hopefully the same for me and others.
@@gettingfactsoutthere yeah I’ve got an ultrasound for my neck on the 5th next week so hopefully it goes okay - I’ve also come down with the flu now so some are swollen and can feel some more in my neck, for some reason this flu seems to have got rid of the bulk of that anxiety I had however I am still concerned, my lymph nodes aren’t huge, biggest one is probably around 1cm or so but they do feel pretty firm and 2 seem to be symmetrical and have like a little chord coming off them, not sure if that’s due to me always touching them and making them irritated, I was feeling around my neck earlier and found like a hard piece of bone that feels like a bit of a ball almost but I’m sure I’ve felt for years but can’t quite remember if it has been there for that long or not, I do recall feeling it in my neck a few years ago so think it’s normal - I’ll let you know how the ultrasound goes though, have been dealing with health anxiety for around 4 months now
@Alex Volpe It was small like idk a bean size. It would hurt if I squeezed it so I didn't squeeze it. It would only appear if I got my chin to touch the neck, then it would come up, but when I touched it with fingers, it would go back down.
@Alex Volpe Mine was also like a small ball, but it moved around very easily, and I had only one. Mine also wasn't visible at all, I could only tell that there was something up if I touched it. Bacteria can also cause it to swell up maybe if you touched your mouth with unwashed hands, etc.
Thank you so much, I have one in my armpit that was fine until I started looking for it and constantly prodding and freaking out. I think I know how I’m going to tackle this now.
@@htedf3615 I’ve gotten over my episode from watching her videos. I go by the look check instead of feel, and if I really have the impulse to feel I just lightly pat my armpit and leave it at thay
24 year old Lymphoma survivor here. On the flip side, please don’t ignore a swollen lymph node especially if it’s alongside other symptoms and has been swollen for more than 4+ weeks. I agree with not checking them constantly its not necessary. If they’re not very prominent and you have no other symptoms then do not panic. However, I don’t agree with them ‘always being obvious and visible to the naked eye’. I had a 5cm mass in my neck and it wasn’t really visible to the naked eye. Half of it was tucked beneath my collar bone and the chain of nodes in your neck extend to below your collar bone - it was not visually obvious by any means. I saw 6 doctors before I was referred for further testing and yes they do just watch and wait but my mass was paired with so many other symptoms that I later learned were the classic symptoms for lymphoma. Also, I’m in the ‘prime’ age range for lymphoma (between 20-40 or those aged over 75). My oncologist was surprised I was not referred sooner but here we are. But yes as she said, do not be poking and prodding them all the time, you will make them swell and this only worsens anxiety. For me as a survivor, I am advised to check lymph node sites monthly and I do this every month. Monthly is a good general rule, another good thing to note is if you’re always feeling them i.e daily, you’re likely to miss any changes in them. It’s similar to when someone is losing weight, the person themselves don’t notice it because they look in the mirror daily and miss small changes, but other people they see less regularly can visibly see the difference and this is simply because they do not see that person daily and there’s bigger changes over longer periods of time than short. I’m currently at the highest risk of relapse so it’s important for me to check but for the average healthy person there’s no need to panic about an enlarged lymph node, keep an eye on it and please don’t constantly poke at it, if you’re really concerned have a health professional examine. Since my diagnosis, I do suffer from health anxiety which is pretty common amongst cancer survivors, my oncologist informed me that it’s only natural to worry. I’ve had therapy for this and feel much better in myself, though I do still have scanxiety and if I have prolonged symptoms for anything I often worry. But this is something that should be worked on for any one who experiences health anxiety. It’s so hard when you’re constantly worrying about becoming unwell or dying. But you have to not let those feelings run and ruin your life. I’ve learnt to live everyday because if I don’t the only person missing out is me and I won’t let my health destroy who I am or take away my happiness. I do love watching your videos, it’s really helped me to know that there’s so many other people out there with fears much like mine. However, I just wanted to also share knowledge from a different perspective and that things aren’t always as obvious as was described in this video. Sending love and positive vibes to all ❤️
I had testicle cancer. I lost people to cancer over the last 5 years. I can't break this cycle because of what I've experienced. I'd rather not be alive anymore than worry about this. It destroys your life.

I woke up this morning with a lump in my groin on the left side. It’s about an inch long and oval in shape. I’ve never had anything like this. Maybe swollen on sides of neck when I had a cold. I did check it through the day and the pain area is growing. Any advice?
Omg I’m in a spiral, after having my covid jab I’ve had two lymph nodes on my collarbone risen for ages, pea sized, and I found what I think is on below my collar bone and I’ve been prodding it and poking it and it’s not like painful, I’m digging myself a hole, this has brought me some peace, so thank you
This is a problem for me, I keep poking and prodding constantly last week I convinced myself I had Lymphoma, this week it's back to throat cancer because I have a discomfort in the left side of my throat when I swallow sometimes, which it's been happening for two years now and I have t sjoen any new symptoms or got worse My bout with anxiety started because I found a lump inside my cheek , only to find out it was nothing more than a fatty tumor I get a blood test every 3 months and thry always come back normal my doctor doesn't seem worried
“.. because i was poking this thing, and poking and poking it all day long..” 😂😂 I was laughing the entire time because Im exactly like you! This video is hitting me hard! But yes, I gotta stop poking them! 😂
I don't know why but everytime we search any symptoms on Google it always shows the result as cancer 😑.. suffering from health anxiety i always use to poke my body everywhere ... And always find that there is something hard present beneath my underarm skin which is not visible outside... Well gonna accept my future.. from now onwards i m not going to poke anywhere
Hey Guys, I’ve been struggling with Health anxiety for awhile now. My new fear is lymphoma! Have one swollen or normal I don’t know node on the side of my neck. I’m just wondering if ppl deal with drs saying different things? My one dr wouldn’t do any tests he swears I’m okay everything is fine. Went to get a second option and she is sending me for blood work and maybe an ultrasound depending on what the blood works says!!! Now I’m having such bad anxiety like she’s worried. I don’t know what’s better a Dr saying your fine or a dr testing you!
hello Cherelle thanks for your video's all the time i needed it. I hope you see this reaction and hope you can help me. I have hypochondria and now i have a new worry, i have a really tiny small lymphnode maybe like 2mm lets say 1,5 cm above the collarbone. Your video's always helped me alot but i rememberd always that you said: arround the collarbone is abnormaI and you should let it check by a doctor, i have been by the doctor for it and he saïd its nothing to worry, its really small and moveable. And completly normal he told me we have this lymphnodes also in the collarbone, he said its so small only if it get bigger come back but he think that will not happen. Me a hypochonder, is so difficilult to believe its nothing. I never felt it before but to be honest i also never felt or try it to feel there i am terrified for feel things. My question concrete: Can i really believe my doctor that its okey and that is also because is small like 2 mm even if it's above the collarbone i hope you will say yes! Let it go! I will do it then that's for sure, i'm done with this hypochondria ......Thanks for your videos !
Dependent on the person, some lymphnodes in certain areas of the body can be felt, for example most ppl can feel them in their groin area and under their chin around the Jaw line, those are considered superficial, it is important to note though that if you *know* for a *fact* that one wasn't possible to feel before but all of a sudden it is now then something is possibly wrong inside the body! But before you run to the hospital give it 2-4 weeks, if its not decreasing in size or if its getting larger then yes! Make that trip!
My son had one for a year in his jaw, I googled once and never googled again . We were told by the doctors don’t keep touching them as it activates it and can make them bigger. Very common but visit GP for peace of mind
Hi Cherelle, I‘m from germany and I struggle with health anxiety for about 3 years, since my babyboy was 6 month old… I‘m afraid to die so I can‘t be there for my little son, the love of my life😢 I can also feel some lymph nodes on my neck and also somewhere else on my body and this health anxiety is one of my hardest. A few days ago I found two „new lymph nodes“, one on my neck, one near by my ear and my anxiety kicks in. I‘m like „its a lymphoma and I‘m definetly going to die soon and my son will be raised without his mother“. Those thoughts make me cry every single day 😔 I was at two different doctors and both told me everything is fine, after they made an ultrasound, but at least I don‘t believe it‘s true. Thank you so much for making videos about health anxiety and the symptoms, that makes me feel that I‘m not alone. Lots of love ❤
Jordana i have had inflamed lymph nodes for about two years. I too felt it may be something bad. However, I have realized it’s coming from my gastric problems. I was recently in Germany and the Apple strudel and beer made the problem flair up. I am now in a Cándida elimination diet. I’m slowly getting back to normal. Best wishes and love for you and your baby.
My husband is a stage 4 lymphoma survivor (from when before we met), and he always tells me, "TRUST ME, if you had it, you'd KNOW!" Because of his other symptoms, he had like severe fatigue, and night sweats were HUGE! Like drenched his sheets! And yes, he could visually SEE his lymph nodes in his armpits.
May I ask, have you had your vitamin and minerals checked? When you’re low on vitamins it can cause anxiety, fatigue, and lots of symptoms that are basically anxiety symptoms. I been watching some of your videos on health anxiety because i’m vitamin d deficiency and it’s a long recovery.
Hey, can you explain further.. i had a severe vitamin D deficiency and post that I felt fatigued, palpitation, anxiety… can you provide some useful link
Oh my god I’m going through this right now…I poked and prodded all of my neck and shoulders and collarbone for hours and hours and now I have a swollen node on my collarbone…that is really painful and it wasn’t there when I started poking the area…I have lots of symptoms of Rheumatoid arthritis and my brain still goes to scary stuff…x
Actually I also have one under my jaw which is really small ,so I did all the tests like HIV and others and all were negative so I’m now having a sense of relief Tanx

May god bless you, you literally saved me cuz i was worried so much due to sudden swelling in my neck lymph node in right side from the week i was suffering from frozen shoulder. Now I know lymph was helping me fight the frozen shoulder. And now my frozen shoulder is gone without treatment in 4th month but swelling in lymph node in my neck is still there which i can feel by touching that but not visible in first sight until i tilt my head on side titghly. Hopefully it will be gone in few months if not few weeks. So much love and blessings from India.
Hi cherrele i had done my fnac result was consistent reactive lymphadenitis no malignancy and no granulomas seen it mean benign caused by infection i wanted to know from u if these lymph doesn't grow bigger and remain same permanent then its no serious?
Oh this is so me. I have found 2 lymph nodes in my daughter's neck 2 years ago. And they are still there. At first i didnt worry to much. When her doc checked it some time ago, he said its normal for slim children like her. She had a cbc some months ago, wich came back normal. She is full of energy, she doesnt sweat too much (i mean normal sweating), not pale, her appetite hasnt changed, the lymph nodes are not very very soft, but they definitively move freely. These past days, i see her and i cry thinking the worst. Even if she is playing like she always does. And i touch them too much. I know i need to stop, but its stronger then me. I think i made them swell a little bit more by touching. Can please someone share with me their experiences with their kids, similar to mine? I am literally stressing so much about it.
My son has one in his neck. He also has two occipital lymph nodes from birth. He did some scans recently and I was told they are normal and he will probably have them until he’s 7.
I don’t have any swelling that is visible, just tenderness all throughout the body. I can feel a small mass in every tender location deep inside the skin. Above nipple, on neck, upper flank area. I’m so nervous.
Hiii Cherelle, i can feel a movable pea sized lymph node under my chin. I can’t see it but I felt it by accident yesterday while brushing my neck with my head lifted. I’ve been so scared ever since and can’t calm myself down…. Going to gp tomorrow . Convinced i have cancer
PLS IM BEGGING SOMEBODY RESPOND ME... if i got my ultrasound done and it clearly says that supaclavicular nodes are not swollen and pathologically changed i shouldn't be worried even tho i still can feel a slight difference between the left and right upper collar bone side...
i cannot breathe thinking about this im literally shaking cause I still feel like there's something going on with the virchows lymph node and even You said in one video that it's a huge red flag when they show up, idk if i should trust my radiologist
Hi, how are you now? I go through the same thing as you, I have supraclavicular lymph nodes on both sides but the left one feels more altered than the right, I have had them for 2 years.
I have a swollen lymph node right underneath my chin / left jaw line. it has gotten worse since it first started bothering me which was about 2 days ago. It's painful to the touch, and it's swollen. How long until they go away??
@@ajayyeditz9478 I had to go to urgent care and the doctor gave me some antibiotics which helped out. in total, i think it took about a week and a half to go back to normal
I just want to say that my stress legit made my lymphnodes swell to 4 cm. YEAH my stress did that. Not anything else. I spent thousands of dollars on tests. Nothing. Stop stressing they will go down. Go to the pool. Eat some food. Listen to music.
"You need to leave your lymph nodes alone" let me clarify this sentence... IF and ONLY IF you have no other concerning symptoms. Dont use this statement as an excuse to dismiss actual REAL concerns. Especially if you have multiple other concerning symptoms.
Hi Cherelle I have been feeling lymph nodes in my neck and I keep on poking them again and again almost all day long from last one month.. I’ve seen a couple of doctors they examine them and said they don’t feel anything which they meant seem to be normal I haven’t done any tests and they never asked me for like an ultrasound or something.. so should I still believe their expertise?
I have a lump under my chin that’s been driving me insane. Noticed it a few days ago and I have a doctor’s appointment to get it checked this week. Google has caused me to completely spiral into the worst case scenario(that I have lymphoma). I’ve finally just accepted the fact I need to wait until my appointment and not let Google diagnose me. It’s easier said than done but I just need to wait for this appointment and go from there.
Omg I really found my self here I found very small lymph node behind my ear and after a week I went to a doctor who had difficulties finding it he really struggled and got little puzzled took the ultrasound and he found many more around the biggest one was like 4 mm and tbh I have chronic sinusitis and infected wisdom tooth at the moment 😅 I don't know whether to cry or laugh because Lymphoma is my obsession for like 3 months now and I keep poking the digging and feel my neck tender overall it's crazy HA sucks
Mate I’ve been in my own little hell these last 3 months, got some swollen hard feeling nodes (convinced one of them feels irregular in shape), just under my jaw, one is oval/bean shaped, one is more circular and the one on my left side is bean shaped, all are around 1cm but just feel quite hard compared to the lymph nodes I’ve felt in the past and currently have around my neck that have always been there all my life. I’ve also got a swollen tonsil on my right side with what seems to be tonsil stones in as well, had a viral infection a few months ago which was pretty bad, had tonsillitis, sinus infection and all that, and I think they’ve just stayed swollen ever since - health anxiety has been mental though, everything from dizziness to numbness, getting better but just pushing for all the tests with my GP at the moment all clear and normal, have convinced myself so far that I’ve had either multiple sclerosis or lymphoma which seem to be very common diseases that us fellas with health anxiety think about - you and Trey Jones have been a massive help to me these last few months, been driving me mad as I’m a healthy 19 yo guy that shouldn’t be concerned with this kind of stuff
@@Nohablogringo- I am haha, my right lymph node has gone down and doesn’t feel as hard as it did, same with another one behind it, the left one still feels a little enlarged, around 1cm - got an ultrasound next week so should hopefully all go ok, otherwise just trying to get through this health anxiety as stress causes all kinds of problems for our bodies, sooner we get rid the better - also the ulcer is healing quickly, still a little swollen/inflamed but going down

@@user-dd6rd1jb1l hey how are things? Thank you so much for this. I accidently came across a lymph node in my neck and have been feeling awful for 2+ weeks. It moves, isnt sore and the longer i leave poking at it the smaller it gets, although today my anxiety took over. This really helped me reset

Awesome information thank you!!
Thank you because this has been stressing me out for over 22 years wondering if they chemo messed me up
Dunno if this will get buried or not but thanks for doing this vid!
God you have no idea how much I needed this. Thank you. You're so essential to HA sufferers.

Cheers for this. It's good to be aware etc but after having a loved one pass away. I went into overdrive checking everything. Thank you x
How are you now.. even i have slight pain in my armpit
@@tejashrajput6817 Sorry I missed this. I'm now better, I needed to go see a therapist because the symptoms were worsening, and since then I feel a lot calmer and I don't check the nodes anymore. It was totally anxiety related :)
@miraevante5800 God bless you. I struggle too.
How are you now
Going through the same since three months.
Just checking and checking and verifying if it's still there or if it grew or I I have other symptoms.
i can feel mine on my right side more than my left! no pain! just is more feelable when i lay down and it is right below my jaw!
This is such an important channel and topic
I really appreciate this video I have been checking my sons lymph node relentlessly got him appointment at the dr ect. We haven’t got results back yet but either way this video helped me a lot mentally thank you
Any update? X
FYI, most thyroid cancers are not diagnosed correctly until they remove the thyroid. Don't be too lax please.
But if they are persistently swollen, you keep getting sick, etc. etc. go to the doctor no matter what Google says.
any update?
I truly appreciate you because I had a random lymph node swell I was scratching my neck randomly ,then bow felt one swollen and sore.... it went down in the first week after that it's never did it again but my awareness was more keen so I felt it again and it feels like a pea and For months its been a slow paranoia that finally turned to anxiety kept feeling it over and over again and this video helped thx so much...
is it still there??
Omg… same here . For me it’s been there for about few years , I’ve been assured it’s fine but my health anxiety makes me go back every few months and makes me sick worried :(
@SuperPrettyrose same actually..even the doctors can recognise me now that I am gonna ask the same question though I visit there in a gap of 3 -4 months
And by constantly asking doctors for reassurance we are making the health anxiety that much worse :(

Thanks for the video! Today I was shaving my beard and felt a little bump on my neck (not visible to see) and I immediately started to worry and booked a GP appointment. I'm pretty sure that I've felt it when I was younger but didn't even flinch at the time... but now that I'm 32 I've suddenly developed a state of concern around my health... sad really. How big was it? dealing with this at the moment, what was the shape/consistency of it? Specific questions but just needing reassurance

Sending love and positive vibes to all ❤️

hello Cherelle thanks for your video's all the time i needed it.
Hi! How are you now? I have 2 lymphnodes in both sides on my collarbone since 2 years
Dependent on the person, some lymphnodes in certain areas of the body can be felt, for example most ppl can feel them in their groin area and under their chin around the Jaw line, those are considered superficial, it is important to note though that if you *know* for a *fact* that one wasn't possible to feel before but all of a sudden it is now then something is possibly wrong inside the body! But before you run to the hospital give it 2-4 weeks, if its not decreasing in size or if its getting larger then yes! Make that trip!
Thank you

I‘m like „its a lymphoma and I‘m definetly going to die soon and my son will be raised without his mother“. Those thoughts make me cry every single day 😔 I was at two different doctors and both told me everything is fine, after they made an ultrasound, but at least I don‘t believe it‘s true. Thank you so much for making videos about health anxiety and the symptoms, that makes me feel that I‘m not alone. Lots of love ❤

Best wishes and love for you and your baby.

These past days, i see her and i cry thinking the worst. Even if she is playing like she always does. And i touch them too much. I know i need to stop, but its stronger then me.
Update: woke up with an ulcer under my tongue this morning and this has just triggered the cycle of anxiety, I’m just convinced that I’m in the early
@@alexvolpe04you…alive?
@@Nohablogringo- I am haha, my right lymph node has gone down and doesn’t feel as hard as it did, same with another one behind it, the left one still feels a little enlarged, around 1cm - got an ultrasound next week so should hopefully all go ok, otherwise just trying to get through this health anxiety as stress causes all kinds of problems for our bodies, sooner we get rid the better - also the ulcer is healing quickly, still a little swollen/inflamed but going down
@@alexvolpe04 i also have 2 swollen lymph nodes under jaw for about 2 months and it is hard and easily movable. I also just woke up with ulcer on gum.
What it could be? I am scared.
I had gone to doctor and he said don't drink cold things and gave me antibiotics but it worked very little
@@user-dd6rd1jb1l hey how are things? I had an ultrasound and they said my lymph nodes look normal/benign - and to be honest mate I think we’re absolutely fine, have been battling this health anxiety nightmare for the last 5 months and I’m just exhausted with it now, I had a really horrible looking lump under my tongue which lasted like 3 weeks, went away then came back, that triggered health anxiety and I was convinced I was dying of cancer all over again, phoned the doctors and sent her a pic of it and she suggested mucocele, left it for a couple weeks and boom, healed and now it’s all normal, still have the lymph nodes, still the same me but just getting rid of this anxiety that’s seeped it’s way into my head for some reason, became obsessed with my health and all, stopped working out, became a recluse and stayed inside because I was convinced I’d be dead - but what I’ve learnt from this is that there’s no point worrying over all these little things in our bodies which we’ve probably had all our lives and will have until the day we pass, it’s just one of those things - what we need to focus on is living our life to the fullest so that we don’t need to fear death, hope you’re doing better friend and let me know if you need to talk about it
