I've had an enlarged lymph node on my neck for 20 years. Never got worse or caused me any trouble. Living proof that big lymph nodes are not a death sentence.

I have lhymp 4 enlarged lhymp nodes for 2 months and i dont know what is it meamwhile i searched it to google and google showed me the symptoms of lhymphoma hiv etc. But i never believed because ive been went ot this before. My very first health anxiety is testicular cancer next is the bone cancer but the true its onlynosgood schlatter disease next is leukemia that time when i have a bruise and searched up and followed by diabetis and hiv and lhympoma. I know im a dumb person. But i went all that anxiety in just 2 months what the hell

Ah been there, its mad how one simple google search can send you down that wormhole of doubt, dread, panic etc. Fuck google, I stay away now. Trust in your gp. Youll be fine, try and give yourself a break from worry. Sinus problems are very common and I find a good walk especially on high ground clears out my sinus and also clears up any anxiety. Dont let anxiety win.
Y’all I legit went to the ER for this. I got so much blood work done. I got an ultrasound done. I got a CT scan done. Everything came back fine. My nodes are still swollen from stress. Ur fine. Ur not dying. Don’t go on the internet. Ur health anxiety is normal and it doesn’t mean ur dying haha

They completely went down. Apparently mono can make them swell for months on end and or stress. And I was very stressed at the time lol

I'm suffering at this moment with two swollen in my neck.. Convinced its sínister.. Went to the doctors about the first one and he said it was fine then one underneath the first swelled up so I'm in panic stations.. Even feeling around now thinking that side of my neck is much harder than the other.. Its always something with me always xx

I have the swelling at my groin over a year now but it lately becomes swollen n tender . I’ve just been to my doctors and he rolled his eyes out and say it feels like lymphoma and I cried all the way home as lymphoma is a form of cancer or cancerous . I now have to wait for a scan which could take upto a month for this appointment! Yet google is not making my fear and anxiety better . I came on here and this is the 3rd video that have watched but seriously it helps ! It could be anything but I’m staying positive . The reason that I’m so scared is that my blood pressure been so high for a long time now ! Poor circulation is dominating the same foot also arthritis so I was thinking it’s a result of the pressure the foot is under.

you are so relatable, I have multiple swollen lymph nodes at the moment. I didn’t know what they were at first I went to google and the only thing I can find is leukemia or non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

You are helping me a lot. My healthy anxiety is so bad. I too, write letters and feel suicidal at times the unknown is unbearable at times. The thought of leaving my 4 year old son behind is the worst. I often feel like a bad mom. Some days I can not eat get out of bed and Google Google Google. You helped me so much. I suffer health anxiety and it was all ok until the DR send me to a thyroid sonogram and instead of getting concerned about Thyroid appearance because everything was fine . The woman who was doing the examination told me “ oh are you with a cold?” And I was like ehhh well I have allergies rinitis right know I usually do because of living in a tropical Island. And she told me “oh because you have on this side a large lymph node “ very large and I was 😳 . So I wait until the results came back and the radiologist said all the descriptions of the findings🤔 and said “ small scattered lymph nodes not enlarged by image criteria” so hello!!!that woman really put me on a stress that was totally unnecessary. I google it and always says its cancer etc etc so ... I was Literally 4 nights like zombie thinking the worst. I got to my ENT and said ok everything looks fine and “ eh but the woman that did the sonogram told me “ and he said to me ... what? They are 5mm and the largest 8mm not even 1 cm and they are normal why she did that?! He was so upset so was I. So I like everyone here went back home but still I am concerned ; they are the same size maybe smaller but then again maybe I had them all my life and know because of that woman told me I am aware of them and I am constantly checking them ... I have a daughter I am afraid of having something bad always like that since she was born. She has 19 yrs right know... and still I have the same fear. So searching for answers I found your experience with them too and listened to all. Because of you I understand more and have reassurance because your dr says the same as mine . So thank you soo much! You are doing an amazing job and really helping others. You are not alone there are many of us with this anxiety mine came too when mu daughter was born. So I think is normal for a mom to be concerned about the health ( not with anxiety) because we feel so responsible for them. So ... day by day. Definitely do not google. Usually it says the worst first. I have to stop doing that because it makes me more anxious and you can get sick really sick with anxiety that’s the irony of it. You get sick for excessive worries about been sick . I feel you girl. Keep it up! You are stronger than you think!

I had a Salivatory gland swell then go down, throat hurt just to talk for months. ENT scoped my throat and all looked well. Then a lymph node swelled on my neck for 2 months now. I’m not sweating it. No symptoms of cancer so all is good!

thank you :) The first thing that pops up when I google "Lymph nodes-" is Lymph nodes cancer. But everytime I google anything health related it shows me something bad.
I’ve had a small lymph node (size of a pea or bean to be exact) well l I think it is one, on my neck for a couple months now I ignored it and then I decided to do some research on it I saw that have one is cancerous I freaked out I didn’t feel like eating I felt depressed for a couple days and every little pain or loss of appetite I always think it’s lymphoma I haven’t gone to the doctors but after a couple of day since I had anxiety I started to eat and I’m a Christian so I randomly open the Bible to a random verse it turned out to be psalms 41 it’s a prayer for health and not going to lie I got a calming feeling like no other and I’m doing great now still a little down but great I’m never googling anything again🙏🏻
I feel you, i sometimes cant help but google every little symptom i have or feel like every sudden change is linked to whatever im worrying about.

Me also suffered from this lymph nodes and I Google it then the result is lymphoma I really scared I was just 19 yrs old I really fear of my lymph nodes they are in 5mm then my mom also had this then I realized it nothing just to panic then after a month the lymph nodes are normal in size so don't Google your symptoms ok

I have 3 lymph nodes I can feel in my neck. Have felt them for a year. Anxiety was through the roof, didn't believe doctors because I believed Google. Had 3 ultra sounds, biopsy, x-ray and blood work. Every test result came back as reactive benign lymph nodes (shotty lymph) . Doctor said we will do an ultra sound 1 more time to make sure its not growing and if it hasn't he said don't think about it ever again lol. Your videos are great !
Brandon Peters I have multiple in my neck man I can’t stop feeling it. I’m not sick and I don’t have an infection because I’ve been on antibiotics for a while and they haven’t gone down
peace world I’m in a better place mentally than I was before . I am still struggling to leave them alone I hate knowing they are there but I no longer feel like my life is threatened by them

Thank you for this. I have been freaking out the past week since I was told I needed a biopsy. I've had a swollen lymph in my armpit for years and just now a doctor is worried.

@@mollyshone2638 yes. Thank you so much for responding! Came back negative for cancer! But like the doctor said 99% of the samples they will say inconclusive due to viability and will recommend the lymph be taken out for further testing. But I'm not going that far unless it starts causing me issues.

I have a lymph node in my neck since 1 week it scares me a lot
Once upon a time i had a pain in my neck for two days then i decided to see a doctor (Surgery consultant), he examined me and asked me to do neck ultrasound. I did and it showed lymphadenitis, he said it’s fine i’m gonna give you antibiotics to relieve the pain. Lymphadenitis can happen after any viral, bacterial, or any other infection so no need to worry about the lymph nodes in the neck because it’s very common among children and adults as well. You only have to worry about the lymph nodes in the chest, between thighs, and under the armpits If it continues for more than one week.
Does the lymph node shrink back?

Actually, i’m not a qualified to talk about this issue, but as i know it will shrink back down to normal size after few days or even weeks if it is lymphadenitis.
@@mrdietitian7760 sorry for asking about this , I have the one swollen lymph node In my neck for 3 weeks and it has not shrink down so I went to ENT and he checked it and said it was lymphadenitis and he prescribed me antibiotics for a week and it shrunk a little bit and went for the check up the next week and he said it was a good sign it is reduced a little and again he prescribed me antibiotics but now it has not shrink but it is there ,it is not becoming hard and enlarging soo that's why I asked about your lymph

Lymphadenitis is a common problem.
It happens. In fact, i have nodes that didn’t shrink back down to normal size from a long time ago and my health is great even tho.
I think there is no need to worry as long as there is no pain & no enlargment.

After a year of groin pain thinking I had an injury due to exercise come to find out a year into the pain that it is swollen lymph nodes one which is a little over 2 cm … in the process of figuring out the cause right now.
I got swollen lymph node under my armpit which went down, not completely but almost it went down, but now i am feeling swollen lymph node in my groin..? After this video, i think i have not to worry about something bad. And yes google sucks.

Every time my lymph nodes swell I freak out! This time I think it may be due to the Herxheimer Reaction since I've been taking Mesosilver (colloidal silver) for a few weeks. They're finally going down. They were really making my neck hurt. 😫
I have several in my inner thighs area too. I will try and get colloidal silver.

Im very bad i had pet scan despite all i say i have lymphoma and maybe ovarian cancer because they saw something strange but my prof said you dont have cancer at all but i still struggling alone😢 😢😢😢

according to google, i have had cancer of an infection for almost the last 20 years ! my lymph nodes have been swollen for YEARS in my neck. years. when you are a teen they will try to test you over and over and over for mono. another thing you could check into is your THYROID for swollen lymph nodes. so in the last few years i have found out i have HYPOthyroidism. which likely started out as leaky gut syndrome. which also perpetuated the swollen lymph nodes.

@@miabella7514 seriously do not be scared ! i have swollen lymph nodes all the time, even right now as we speak. and i'm not dying from cancer. i'm 35 and they have been swollen for at least 20 years. i might be tired and my thyroid sucks. i have lots of allergic reactions in the form of hives too. but i have two healthy children, despite all of this. dont let it get you down xx

Another thing I wanna add is that to not touch, poke, or squeeze your lymph nodes. This can cause it to swell even more and take a longer process

I have had swollen lymph nodes in my neck for over two and a half years and we can't figure out why they are swollen .they hurt and my whole throat and necks gets swollen all the time . And now my lymph nodes are swollen in other places . I have severe anxiety from it !!! I have caused other issues due to the anxiety !!! It's been a living hell . It's put me in a deep depression .

It all started 5 years ago when pregnant with my daughter. I got sick with a cold and ended up having to stay in the hospital after delivery due to bronchitis . And they have never gone away . I had ultrasounds I have benign appearing nodules in my lymph nodes in my neck.

I think ive had a swollen occipital lymph node in my neck for years but as im freaking out, im not sure and i cant recall feeling it before and brushing it off.
I WAS sick or suffering from bad allergies about 2 weeks and 1 day ago, so 18 days as im writing this and ive been told it stays for 3 weeks.

Ive had a swollen lymph node for 4 years. Ive seen 4 different doctors about it and all said its fine but come back if it gets bigger, so for 4 years i worry constantly until i was recently sent for an ultrasound. It came back as being 1cm in size which is the right side of my neck but also there is 2 more under my chin. It said no worrying features or abnormalities and its been left at that. I feel abit less anxious but still not happy lol
I have swollowen lymph nodes in multiple areas for 12 months but it is not grown at all
But i consulted a doctor. My doctor said it was not abnormal and she gave me antibiotics. I drinked the antibiotics in 7 days row and my lhymp nodes got shrinked a little bit but its still there. But i have another coming lhymp nodes my necks are hurting and i have a sore throat that time

Hey! I have health anxiety, it's been getting better over the past few weeks, but I just found this lymph node right behind my ear, it's pea sized, hard, and won't move at all! My parents don't want to take me to the doctor anymore and everytime I ask them about something related to health they get mad at me...What should I do?
Sit down with them any tell them that it is really concerning you. They will understand

@@julianacuc I actually went to a doctor and he told me its a lymph node..but deep down I know sth is wrong for sure..the hard immobile lymph node actually increased in size and is present there for an unusual amount of time..almost like,8 weeks..anyway I m happy for u as it turned out to be nothing but harmless node..god bless u!!

A 2024 viewer here :) it’s sad that CZcams videos can help calm your fears. I’ve been having stomach bugs.. and a tooth infection on my right side but found two lumps on my left side. In 2024 google still tells you it’s cancer.. of course
I will say I do believe if you keep messing with them they’ll swell up. Because I kept watching for them.. found a tiny one, kept bothering it and it enlarged. Then I kept feeling for more and another one popped up

I had serious vaginal infection then I have this lymph node in my vulva.. I know my body is healing.
Now it has gone.
I can 1000% attest to not worrying about lymph nodes right away. I recently had a CT can for an unrelated issue and was told there were two nodules in my lung and my internal lymph nodes were 'reactive' and swollen so the Dr told me they could be reacting to the nodules in my lung. I was in a panic for the two weeks it took to get a PET scan, thinking I had lung cancer. Come to find out, the nodules were just scar tissue and my lymph nodes are just wonky and like to appear reactive (the ones in my neck swelled in the 4th grade with my 1 tonsilitis attack and never went back down in over 40 years) Oh, and I still have not gotten treated for what I've gone in to the Dr's for almost 6 months ago....*sigh* Bottom line, try not to worry because occums razor says the simplest explanation is usually the right one and the simplest explanation is usually 'you're fine'

More than a month ago I got an inflamation on my inguinal groin that hasnt gone yet and doesnt move. I have no other symptoms, no fever, no sweet nights, no skratchy, and got lot of hungry and very active. But I kinda feel anxiety about lymphoma, specially because my dog was diagnostqued with, two years ago.
The fact is that I got a lession combined with gastrointestinal gasses problem. I used to go walk after eat dinner, and feel a pain in my groin that I ignored for about four months. While I still walking my abdomen hurts and my gasses increase.
So one day I stretch my body for a training and I feel lot of pain and days later I feel the inflamation and sometimes pain... I think right now I have an hernia, all my evidence says its an inguinal hernia, and I would like to believe that it's an hernia. But having seen the process of the lymphoma woth my dog, and my wife got a surgey becausea benign hyphofisis adenome, unleashed my fears and still returning to the idea that I have lymphoma.
I think anxiety, combined with bad life experiences, bad heathy habits, bad sleep, and bad way of life, can detonate this obsessions of having something really bad in our body. Some day a friend of mine said to my: "your fears seems to jump from one to another, and the problem it's not the fear, it's that you always will create one".
This doesnt mean that always someone will be good, but certanly beeing at least good of mental health, makes to have better chooses when difficult times are coming across.
I must be honest saying that though I know all this, I can't still liberate my mind of those obsessions.
I’ve had a palpable lymph node in my neck for about 6 years now and I got a MRI and it was labeled mildly prominent with fatty hila and no necrosis which is good….my cbc test had all my stuff in normal ranges but I definitely let google freak me out

I literally strained my neck and started trying to feel my lymph nodes and spent the last 5 minutes trying to make sure they weren't tumors...I think I just bruised one of them from messing with it
Hi dear, I had german measles a month ago. I was shocked to feel pea-like texture and immovable which I believe are lymph nodes in my groin. They're not painful at all, I don't feel anything bad in my body, theres no lump, It just really bothers me because I didn't feel them before. I have not yet see the doctor because of what's going on coz of covid-19. I wonder If these are just shotty lymph nodes, I 'm kind of anxious.

I got two swollen lymph nodes, on under my chin, and another one in my groin. The one in my groin swelled up after accidentally hitting it. It got big then shrinked down. It feels a bit hard and moves a bit not much. It feels a bit deformed maybe because it burst. I got one under my chin that is about 1.5 centimeters. I suffer from hashimoto thyroiditis so maybe it's that. I can feel many lymph nodes all over my body. I'm a slim guy do maybe it's that. They are all 1cm in size except for the two that I mentioned

@@user-dd6rd1jb1l Ultrasound showed my lymph nodes are reactive as if I’m fighting an infection. but they've been like that for 7-8 months. I have a follow-up scan next month to see any changes. I've also been having daily headaches for the past few weeks so I am slightly worried, but nothing serious has been confirmed.

This video has helped so much, I've had lymph nodes swollen to around 3cm in my cervical node, groin, and stomach.
Doctors have me on a 2 week wait before I can get an ultrasound, I've also had chronic sinusitis so maybe that's a factor also.

Jacob C I demanded to have an ultrasound pretty much but I paid privately for the specialist which cost me £140. Quite pricey but the best £140 I’ve ever spent for my peace of mind!

0 Skater X Dont jump straight to cancer. It is very common for lymph nodes to swell from a cold, infection or any sickness. Judging by the fact that you have a canker sore and swollen nodes in the neck, that the swelling is from the sore. Not a doctor just using what i have learned, if you are unsure there is no problem with seeing a doctor. Feel better!
Hi, I've recently recovering from assumed epididymitis and orcitis. The lyphnodes in my neck and groin and armpit swelled a little. I was put on antibiotics ( doxycycline) I finished my course yesterday. The lyphnodes in my neck is still bothering me is this normal
