Would definitely suggest having training facilities at 10 for all future experiments as it means that you're managing one of the variables a bit more for all of them

In my TSC Backa Topola save (up to 2039 so far), he is still managing at 71, currently at Sweden, and won the Euros and a World Cup while managing England

Currently in December 2028, Ralph in my Blackburn Rovers save quietly left his near yearlong stint as England manager after the 2028 Euros where he lost in the second round to Spain 4-3 after extra time. He got the England job after taking charge at Crystal Palace in 2023 and leading them to an FA Cup win in 2027 before ditching them for the national team. Lazio and Porto are both interested in picking him up.

Ralph Watch? I still play FM22, and in my 15th season of my current save. Ralph Hasenhüttl is a SCOUT. He has a 20 for scouting, 12 for GM, and 1 for everything else. After leaving Southampton in 2023, he moved to Leeds to become their Chief Scout (why? who knows?). After 5 seasons at Leeds, he moved on to become the Chief Scout at Bayern Munich, where he has been ever since. He has not coached anywhere since leaving Southampton after the 2022/23 season.

You should probably add at least some stamina so they don't tire after 15 minutes. Or even max out the supposedly "only 4 attributes that matter" pace, acc, dribbling and jumping reach, again I'd probably add at least some stamina. There are also some attributes that don't cost CA which could help.
I believe there might be some configuration of attributes that could bring frozen 1 CA players maybe even to Premier league.

I'm in 2035 with FC Vaduz. Ralph has been Austria manager since 2027, got to a world cup quarter final before he lost to Scotland. Has also been at Al-Hilal and Burnley.

I have updated transfers so I can see that he resigned as wolfsburg manager in 2028 but I am in 2034 and he is retired now, he hasn't been austria manager or managed any of the teams currently in the prem but he did win the dfb pokal

What happens if you mess with this a bit? Some twin type game where one is 20 pace/accel but is hard capped at 150 PA, with the twin at 10-15 pace/accel who gets 200 PA

Maybe have the players' Work Rate and Natural Fitness set to 20 as well as Acceleration and Pace? Would mean they actually want to run and wouldn't lose their physical attributes as they got older which might help. Also a minimum of 10 for Stamina and Determination.
Also have their PA set to 190 as I think this helps with growth rate.

Ok, ermm, a long reply here ... like how Zealand managed to prove the META attributes to be CORRECT, you will actually also need other attributes to put it off. Decent (10-ish) Sta + Str, for one. Decision + Anticipation. Teamwork + Workrate. Determination.
Of course there are other attributes, but if you just wanna test the impact of Pace, think these are the more important ones to allow the players to use Pace better. Nowadays, i accept that the Techniques are just not as important ...
Think the PA should be 190 or 200, because the CA grows at a ratio to PA, it was said. The training facilities need to be 10-ish for accelerated growth too (but i do feel that "low" facilities are in fact realistic for these clubs) ... as always, Professionalism should be 10-ish. Ambition too. We have already gone through Determination ...
So, yeah, in short, we are still gaming the old CM99 way of having high CA/PA. Only high CA players can have high Physicals anyway. So, there. 🤷

Perhaps retry this exact same experiment, but with the lessons learned. You started all players at age 17, then after simming a season, and Buxton relegated, you unfroze the players, tried again, and still were relegated. Then you made the last adjustment, and Buxton ran away with the league.
However, start with your tweaks, but make the players 16 instead of 17. Gives them an extra year of growth. Might have better results.
The problem is with that is the game reverts them to youth contracts and they don't have contracts until 2045 when they turn pro, so the team doesn't play them. They can't sign a new deal because of the future transfer. This is an issue from this most recent FM and was not a problem last year

In the lower leagues, sometimes speed is everything. I played a custom database, which has all leagues down to tier 10. My striker was a free agent whom I found that had 16 Acceleration and Pace, but 1's and 2's for almost everything else (A PA of only 80, and his CA was about 30 when started the save).
Yet we won consecutive promotions for 5 years straight as teams could not stop my speedy striker, even though he only had improved to 6 Finishing over those 5 seasons..
You have an entire team of 20/20 for Pace and Acceleration and a PA of 175. The team should dominate Vanarama, and with playing time, their other skills should increase fast enough to reach the Premier League before the end of the sim.

My Ralph just managed Man United to relegation in his final season before retiring…. Yeah. He’s had a mental time in my save.
First season Austria and made the semi finals in the euros
Second season Got made the Bayern Münich manager (I know!) Came second in the Bundesliga and won the Pokal. Round of 16 loss to Madrid in the Champions league
Third Season. Bayern Munich sack him halfway through cos they are 7th.
Fourth season unemployed
Fifth season Manchester United. finish 12th (last season they came 15th tho)
Sixth season comes bottom with United and retires.
That's insane. The fact he kept his job despite finishing 12th then 15th as well is ridiculous

Current save year 2030. Ralph got relegated and the boot from Metz in 2024, took the Estonia job in 2027 and has been there ever since. Not particularly exciting 😎
