In this video, we explore all there is to know on The Harley Davidson Friction Zone How to Use It! The Friction Zone is a mysterious concept that some seem to struggle to understand and use it appropriately when riding on their Harley Davidson or any motorcycle for that matter. The Friction Zone concept once mastered is a wonderful tool to fully control your motorcycle from the small to large 900 lb touring motorcycles such as the Harley Davidson touring bikes and Indian touring motorcycles as well as many others. The Friction Zone concept is the same on all motorcycles, however, it is different and specific to each individual motorcycle. ‪@motorofficertraining‬

The term Friction Zone is thrown around as if everyone knows all about it...but sometimes there is confusion. In this video, I cover what is the Friction Zone, how to find it on your motorcycle, when do you use it and I also demonstrate some exercises that you can practice to get comfortable with the Friction Zone on YOUR motorcycle.

We can all go straight and fast but I think it's safe to say we all need to practice our slow speed skills.

That is very true Scott. Straight and fast is easy. Proficiency at the slow speed skills will separate the good from the not as good riders. Thanks for your support. ✌️👍👊

I'm having to relearn how the friction zone interacts with throttle by wire.. coming off a cable throttle this digital approach really sucks.

Thanks for watching and commenting. It's all about practicing and getting accustomed to your bike. Practice clutch control and throttle control as often as you can and it will become muscle memory. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you.
