- Instlation of the Xitomer Top rack plate on a Suzuki V Strom 650& 1000 rear rack. Amazon Xitomer rack doesn't come with instructions, so I thought I would do a short video. This is an inexpensive, quality rack, that bolts on top of the original rear rack on a Gen 3 Suzuki Vstrom 650. #suzukivstrom #vstrom650 #xitomer

Those top rack plates are a must. They are so handy for strapping things on the bike. Timmy needs one so thanks for the video. 👊

Excellent information on a top rack for the V-Storms!! It looks similar to the SW-Motech rack I put on the 1050 but at much lower cost. The 650 is getting set up quite nicely! Great video Dave!!

@@verbalwidget7267Interesting note, the back end of your 650 is exactly the same as my 1050. Turn signals, tail lights, fender and the pannier racks. Are you still looking at a top box for helmet storage?

The Suzuki rack is pretty weak. In case you plan to put a top box on, explore getting a support bracket from Xitomer.
It’s pretty cheap plastic.
The top plate just allows me to keep bags on the larger surface and places for the straps
