Still don't understand how they didn't make it big as Underoath, ADTR or Alexisonfire did. They were one of the most original post-hardcore/alternative/metalcore bands of the glorious myspace era.
Most people hated this and even fans of very similar genres would trash this kind of music. I was very much into heavy metal, but most metal fans are fuckin’ douche bags. Or at least the loud ones made it seem like it. I remember being somewhat in the closet about listening to all of this type of music and even old-school(and newer at the time) hip-hop because you would just never hear the end of how much that sort of stuff “isn’t music” and I could only endure so much of that nonsense.

this mid-2000s bullshit (which i like, i just know it's bullshit) is nothing more than pop rock, and it all hangs under that umbrella because it is mechanised and it is manufactured to make melodies sound "punk" and for riffin' to sound kwwlwwwlwkwwlwkwlwkwl

2022 and I've been on a huge nostalgia run with this band. They were one of my favorites, but seriously underrated.

Man, I used to hear this when I was 14 years old. Literally just found this all over again after 12 years. 26years old now and still remember ever fucking lyric off this beautiful song. Epic stuff! Wish those days could come back! 🤘

Here in 2023. I really miss the aesthetic these guys had. Not to mention I got to hang out with joe and Dan at almost every show I went to. They were always down to hang with fans. Even brought me and my gf onto their tour bus to smoke reefer. Some of the best times of my life. Please come back in some form!!
