- The map itself was first made with VCD's default square pieces.
Later i realized how the aspect ratio of the original map is much more narrow and higher so i had to experiment around with model scaling after.
And after i realized how GameMaker 8.1 "Generates" models i just thought.
"I'm not going to recreate every single mesh per hand"
So i instead hacked the original game (draw distance hack video) and went out of bounds and made a 3D "screenshot" with DXRipper but kept the camera as straight as possible (this way the models become less stretched).
They are still a little stretched but i find it acceptable for that map.

Like what ya did with the grey scale colour saturation it fits the vibe well
Main reason i had to use grey scale is because the default objects would have looked too colorful. Wish i was somehow able to still render a few things colored like the streetlights and the tower but making this would have taken much more time so i kept everything fully black and white.
Still wondering if it's possible to make the enemy only follow the closest player to him because he desyncs and the particle emitter that renders Slender follows clients and a yellow bin chases the host for them lol
Very bad news:
I just found out that my Steam account was hacked and everything was wiped (again) and i can not get access to it for some strange reason. (I still try but no idea if i can have it back)
This sounds like a bad joke but just a few days ago when i tried to start Steam it behaved strangely and even froze sometimes like someone injected something.
Not sure who did that but it seems it must be someone that knows how to damage someone's account because he seemed to have wiped everything instead of just stealing the account.
I just changed passwords for everything else i recently used on an external device so no other things get deleted.
Also not sure how that person was able to even access my account because of the security mail you get with the code you have to enter.
Well, autologin makes things easy for hackers.
I recently tried a lot different AI programs and heard that certain addons can do weird things if not careful so not sure if one of those did that.
Maybe it was also because of old online games where the security is usually very low?
I can't really tell because i recently did a lot things and lost track what would have done that.
I remember weird things happening on my PC so i had to reinstall just a week ago (but it did not stop after first reinstall).
200% sure many will be upset because of that "again" but i can't do nothing about it and reuploading everything again on a new account is just annoying and a waste of time
since it takes days.
Because i knew that something weird was going on i did a backup of all the maps on the Internet Archieve to make sure these maps stay safe somewhere.

Just to hope the Internet Archieve doesn't delete this for some odd reason because this would be really bad.
Not sure if i still try to use my Steam account since it is annoying if i can get it back.
Just recently i was already playing with the idea to delete myself on Steam because 90% of the games that get released are just boring and having this account for this long time also annoyed me over the years because you can't feel free with it.
Most games and Steam's interface are boring now too.
But before, i would have given an information on every single workshop map that the maps are now on the Internet Archieve with the link and that the account on Steam self destructs in one month.
Now that everything is gone in just a few minutes without me being able to tell anyone on Steam what happened, this just sucks...
And making a new account is just annoying.
If someone has the time to upload all those maps again, anyone can do that if wanted because i lost my motivation completely now.
This is just annoying and i never thought something like this would have ever happened.

took a while to take those off steam xd but i did download that video if whoever ruined your steam goes for your YT
I deleted that video because i think you have all of my maps uploaded back on steam again so the video is pointless now and the video itself is annoying since it is bad how i lost my stuff again and i don't want stuff like that on CZcams really.
I indeed kept the video up for a few weeks and waited until most of the stuff is restored again so people knew why the stuff was gone in that time.
I'm thankful that you and jkcrmptn had restored most of the maps back to Steam.
I have seen you fixed a few maps and added some things. (I think the Steam preview images look better as i made them myself).
Also i saw there are now a few duplicate maps like the Dirtbite one or Mech Mastery.
(The newer Mech Mastery has a fix so you can't go behind the incinerator).
Maybe you find a way to make more custom maps out of those duplicates and all other maps of course.
Not sure if I'm going to reupload the Monstrum Map somewhere else because of how those developers are... (long story lol)
Of course it was a lot work making that map but i don't want to risk it.

Duplicates probly a couple of my old remakes unless someone else put those up but yeah some great templates to build a few new maps out of

Dunno why but I love that level👍
And yeah monstrum is no man's land
Forbidden so I will never put that up esp since steam deleted it automatically anyway
