I also planned on releasing a gmod animation recreation of a Kitty0706 ytp. But now I intend to release it after The Bet (Edited) because it was taking too long. Plus, I really want to get it done after 5 months of working on it. There has been some really weird issues again related to The Bet (Edited) that is preventing me from making progress. The old version of The Bet (Edited) is not properly syncing up with the new HD version I’m creating. But I’m sure I can work on fixing this issue. Again, thanks for all the positive comments and I’ll still be working sound effects replacement videos and others you might be interested in. Gordon Wick will also return.
fun fact you can run out of sprint at a stand still in hl2 as when you begin a sprint the sprint takes a small amount of energy away to start and you can abuse this to make it drain your entire sprint bar

Quick personal annoyance with this scene: they choose shotguns with slugs, semi auto, low capacity, instead of the multiple rifle caliber weapons behind them, also they choose these shotguns over the P90, which is designed to go through body armour, and has 50 shots in full auto.
I mean for all we know maybe the rifles are all chambered in extremely underpressured .223?? But in all likelihood shotguns definitely sound cooler and meatier than rifle calibers lol
What I love the most about this scene 5:21 is that it depicted that even John Wick was having _some_ difficulty taking down the enemy. Subtly heightening the tension.
I just love the attention to detail here, like the weapon select sounds as he pulls out his pistol, and the different collide sounds like a fence sound when he collides with the fence, and then different slamming noises as the body hits other objects. Amazing work. Truly a masterpiece.
@@Foxymus yeah it is a type of loading technique, you just grab two shells side by side and keep them closest to your thumb and then grab another two held by your ring and pinkie fingers and slide them into the tube two at a time (perhaps look it up i cant find the words to explain it well). its pretty much the fastest way to load a tube fed shotgun, real easy to fuck up though. i wonder how many times the scenes had to be reshot (ha ha) because Keanu Reeves fumbled shells

@@Null-- yeah I saw the footage too. He put alot of work into his roll. Getting good at doing IPSC and 3 gun drills is not something you do over night.
I'm getting this recommended almost a year later but fantastic work! This doesn't make me laugh too much (outside of Gordon Wick's voice and the sound for drinking booze) but it does remind me how cool HL2's SFX still are today.

Actually the smg is morw powerful than the combine rifle and does really good dps if you're up close, learned that through gmod multiplayer.
