- A compilation of the ways you can meet your demise and the endings in Cursed 2, a passion project by DisasterSquad in the style of games like Last Half of Darkness and Uninvited. In this game a childhood friend returns to save Jennifer and stop the demon cult.
There are three games in this series, all of them free to play. It does have a lot of nostalgic music and sound effects from various NES games, particularly Uninvited, Shadowgate, Friday the 13th, Willow, and Dragon Spirit.
Although several enemies can kill you with different attacks the fights have the same game over so I excluded redundant deaths from different attacks (the exception being the zombie's poison).

This game feels both like a childhood that has never actually existed, and like a fever dream at the same time.
Reminds me of those old Newgrounds/Kongregate point-and-click games back in the day.

To be fair, I was wary of the doll from the start. I didn't put the batteries in it because I suspected something like that would happen
It can trick you, but it only happens once per playthrough and often it doesn't lead to large amounts of progress being lost.
the sequel is simply fascinating, i never thpuight this time is showed multiple endings, including that last fake ending, wonderful
The level of improvement with the nostalgic elements of NES games made this a lot of fun to play through, even if I'm pretty bad at that final skeleton fight.

I love death says he wouldnt make you immortal, but can make you not take damage. So naturally you twack him with a hammer to test that theory
Since he said he can't "make you completely invulnerable to death", he also meant that he still can off you if he wanted to.

I love at the start of the bad end, when you finally kill the blue boss. They fall to the bottom of the battle screen in this cool moment of triumph, then the music cuts off as it just skips straight into the screen of them dead on the ground with no cutscene between it. Just cool death and then *corpse.*

This game's enemy art ranges from timid MS Paint to Rob Zombie horrors, it's brilliant
The attention to detail is amazing
For this one I'm sure I can say this game is underated
Full-screen zoom, raids without delay in the inventory, raids on things that shouldn't move... We've got what you need for jump scares.

Also love the gunshot echo, as if the round hit the heart and your mind is reeling in the last seconds before death.

Jumpscare sound is very similar to one of death jingles when you die in Infernax demo (that one extremely high pitch), just changed a bit, but I highly doubt that it's from Infernax.
I think 18:40 is a "pelones" meme song. A famous guy on youtube, Sr. Pelo created 3 funny characters and told people to make music with the screams he previously recorded for each of them.

Ive been playing cursed 2 recently, (going to play 3 after) and Ive been on the Jennifer bossfight where I died, and this time the gameover was some guy shouting GAME OVER YEAAAAH! I love this dev lmao, so much stuff to uncover in this game!
A handful of these instadeaths caused me to quietly rage quit for more than several minutes before continuing

Finally, after many hours of grueling combat and near escapes with demons ghouls and the undead trudging through a literal hell on earth I managed to bring her back from death itself. And after all of that unbelievable nightmare that would surely traumatize and nearly break any man,

imo some of the insta kills should have some kind of different game over screen like in the bathroom with the mantis it would have been a lot more scary is the protagonist have some kind of reaction and when he gets killed in the game over we could see like the mantis eating him or something like that

There's a ghost on the first floor of the maze. If you have at least 1 point in mind you can barely see it, otherwise it's invisible. You want to use the music box from Jennifer's house to keep it pacified.
So in conclusion....there are A LOT of ways to die in this game
