      @@GCITurf Looking forward to seeing more videos and footage of this as it transforms......cause its a rough start for sure. Question, do yall normally use a Pre emergent on the infields? I noticed in this video you started the spraying as you left the infield and right before you hit the outfields. Will you add the pre em later after your going to do the overhaul/leveling, etc?

    Played golf one day and saw what looked like grids of golf balls everywhere. Then I saw the sprayer on the next hole. Noticed they were balls of foam. Cool idea for marking your edge of spray.

    That’s about what my yard looked like when I got my house back in September. I’m 7-8 months into it now and I’ve got almost a completely weed free Bermuda acre. Only thing I’m fighting right now is a spotty rash of dallis grass. and some bare spots. We are just now ripping into the mid 90s here in oklahoma. So soon I should be golden.
    Just got about 26 tons of sand to level it out.
    Gotta get this triplex fixed up and I’ll probably keep it 0.75 inch or less the remainder of the year

    Common Bermuda.. look good. Almost an oxymoron nowadays. It’s truly heartbreaking when I see some of the local ball fields looking exactly like this. I’m fairly certain they have 419 as well. I want to spray “feed me” on it in 2,4D in the clover patches🤣

    Pete I'm worried about the possibility of my well drying up from watering my lawn; should I be concerned?

    • @GCITurf
      @GCITurf  Před 2 měsíci +1

      That all depends on the GPM your well produces + depth vs how much you water. Hard to answer that question without knowing details.

      @michaeljarret7870 Před 2 měsíci

      @@GCITurf Right, it's 120 feet deep. I water twice a week, 6 hours per day; the well is running 6 hours straight with no breaks in between. I don't know the exact gpm; if I had to guess, I'd say 1.5 to 2 gpm.

    It was probably layed takin care of that first season then wasn't touched after that, I see this alot where I'm at here in Michigan especially with commercial properties they get it all done up initially with irrigation and everything all nice than after that first season never use it or do anything besides mow
