Definitely the best informational video on these units I've seen yet. No long winded crap. Just the down and dirty on the unit. Thank you.
We are glad the video helped you out with the info you needed!
One of the best informative clips I have ever watched... going shopping soon! Thanks
Great video
I bought the 9 tripleshot love it. I still need to get the big transducer in right spot, works great below 10mph but goes out at higher speeds, need to adjust more I guess I have moved multiple times
Still like it?
My 9 triple shot will come on and let me select language then got to the standby screen and will go no further, connections are good battery is full 12 volt, transducer is good, don't know what to do now!
Great video my problem is that when in the tide screen it thinks it’s 2000 and I don’t no how to change it can u help. Cheers
I installed the Hook2 9 on my boat last year. When I turned it on this year, I can't find the depth sounder this year, worked last summer. Found on one screen " sonar is not on" or something to that effect? ? I have the Tripleshot transducer.
My depth/bottom chart aren’t right. It’s in 20 foot increments but advertised 1 foot. How can I fix it
how does the gps and waypoints work
I am unable to get my sonar to operate on my Hook2
An avid fisher suggested the Hook2 9 SS can also ad the triple shot and the extra view becomes available? can I upgrade the ss to a TS transducer?
Can you change to palette colors on the down scan imaging on the hook2 7x fishfinder
no
My hook 7xHDI splitshot gps unit doesn’t have the option to split the screen. Not sure why this would be. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.
You need the splitshot transducer.
Just got a boat with this model, how old is it? Also, my brother has a unit that shows the depths around you as you're moving, does this have that capability ?
Ok so if i have the 5 inch model that comes with a splitshot transducer, could i upgrade later to the tripleshot without having to replace the whole unit?
I was wondering the same thing. Did you ever find an answer?
@@Ahead323 yes the answer is no. The display on a splitshot isnt set up to display side imaging.
Can you network 2 Hook2 units to talk to each other?
no
I gave up on it and bought a GARMON, love it..
So Garmin is better? I’m debating between the hook 7 reveal and Garmin 7sv
will it work on shallow water lakes under 10 ft
Yes it will. Minimum depth is probably around 2 feet or so for it to work properly.
come faccio a tradurlo in italiano
This was listed as a Lowrance Hook 9ts. NOT a Hook @ NOT a hook revele. is there a video about the Hook (9ts) meaning 9inch Triple shot transducer..?????
I bought a 7 in triple shot and my maps are a blank white screen any suggestions? Do I have to buy a separate card?
Mine to, did u figure it out
@@bigmommacatfishin6708 thanks I thought it might be something like that, does it matter which one
I bought the navionics card....still have a blank white screen, but my sonar and fish finder doesn't work. For chirp all I get is a thin yellow line across the top of the screen, no down scan and no side scan, About all it's good for is a speedometer, nothing else works.
No info out there either.
If the model number has an X in it that means it is GPS only no maps can be read on that unit. Card slot is for software upgrades only..
@@darrylvance5874 thanks for that
My experience with the Hook2 12TS is a complete nightmare. The machine shows noise and clutter, it will not find the bottom in 54 or more meters of water (in any mode). Lowrance here in Australia are are diabolical to deal with and terribly unhelpful. I would not touch the Hook2 or Lowrance with a barge pole.
could not agree more, i went through 2 units that read 2.8 ft deep, lowrance finally admitted that they have a software problem so they upgraded me to elite for 175$, now i can say this after 1 week with elite, i love this unit, now lowrance is back in the business of providing a good unit, if u buy the hook dont cry to me about ur probs, i know 2 other peeps that are reading 2.8 ft deep, hook is total junk but elite seems to be solid so far
@@barry45357 I am sure there was an inherent problem with the unit and there has been a massive cover-up. I am 51 years old and I can tell a liar a mile off and I knew there were people at Lowrance lying and doing so contrary to their personal ethics. Lowrance as a company are a total disgrace. Shit products, shit people, shit company.
@@iain1969 well lowrance upgraded me to elite TI2. now this is a very good unit so far. ive had it for about a month and no probs yet. hit the power button and 32 seconds later ur seeing depth.. thats what i need, so sad that u have to spend 800.00 to have a unit do what its suppose to
attention ,sonde tres fragile , quelques mois d'utilisation et elle est hs...
I don’t like these videos because you jump through everything way to fast. If you are new to this you can’t learn anything because you are just punching buttons. I’m sorry but I cannot keep up with it.
You can always quickly rewind a bit, or hit your spacebar and it stops the video, hit the spacebar again and it carries on.
