I didn’t know about this till I watched Enola Homes 2. I mean they knew the substance in the factory was killing the women yet the bosses trying to cover it up. 😢 it’s great that someone spoke up! Healthy working environment shld be a right to every workers. And thus currently we have proper sop. Thanks to this ladies who stood up for whats were right even tho the fear of loosing their job and income.
It's easy to fail to appreciate how fundamental the things they were fighting for were (and what they were risking in doing so) from our present day position. Thank you; that was very engagingly presented!
Thank you for your clear explanation and congrats on the Netflix traffic. When receiving unemployment benefit i wondered how such a thing came into existence. Clearly there was a cascade of political ancestry, that all worked for the greater good of mankind. I think worker unions have had a tremendous impact on the quality of our lives. This realization has made me more grateful in life generally.
Technically I came before watching Enola Holmes 2, a friend told me this movie was base on a true event. Want to know about it before watching the movie! Thank you for the history lesson keep it up!
Correct me if wrong but I believe the match girls continued to die from sulphur. if i recall aright Jack London writes about the Match Girls in his 'People of the Abyss.'
