I definitely feel you on having regulars. I worked at my first restaurant for over 8 years. I couldn’t even tell my regulars that I was quitting, I had a few groups that specifically saw me on fridays and Saturdays. I didn’t even tell my coworkers until it was my last day lmao 🤣 holding it in for 2 weeks was harddddd.

Do you live at home or have roommates? Asking because as an ex-server, my paychecks were normally under $8. Getting paid $2.13 an hour, plus tipping out our bussers and bartender and paying taxes. Plus, I owed State taxes every year. Don't get me wrong. I made good tips. I worked 20 hours a week and brought home about $500 a week just from that in tips.
Girl I feel you! I have to tip out the bussers and bar too, plus taxes!!! But all my credit card tips go on my check and then I just keep my cash. I live with my boyfriend though and we split the rent and utilities down the middle!😊
