I like doing the 100 notes of every denomination savings plan. This is where you collect 100 of the ones, 100 of the fives, 100 of the tens. And so on until you complete the 100's denomination. Total savings would be 18600.00. So far I've done the ones, fives, tens, twenties, and have 11 of the fifties. Total savings so far is $4150.00
that sounds like a plan. My I am about to do mine but I am going to begin with $25 in every envelope. Hoping it doesn't take me too long to finish. But needing to save up for a car. my 2001 mini van is about to die. :)
@@nebbarnes3404 I just sold my car. It was a 92 and had low miles. But as my brother says, It's rusty underneath and so i better sell it. Well I did. Now my mother is going to be looking for a vehicle while all I need to do is pay a down payment of $3000.00 on her new car while I get her other fancy car. Well worth it.
My husband and I started this a few weeks ago, we are at 265 saved. We are doing 1 envelope a week and it encourages me to make these healthy money changes. We have a safe and healthy budget, paying off $19k of debt next year, and we couldn't be happier! And we are newlyweds starting this change with our relationship with money. New subcriber as if this video! Keep up the amazing work!!
First of all that is amazing, I just want to congratulate you on your hard work so far. That I personally feel like is the most important thing is creating healthy money changes and fitting the journey to what works best for people individually. It’s no one size fits all. We want long term success with money!! 💰💰💰 thank you for subscribing and following me along on this journey! ☺️❤️
You could totally use coupon holders. That's what I'll be using in my videos. The accordion style ones. They stretch to accommodate your money, AND your money stays flat. No hundreds of envelopes to keep up with.
I just started mine. I love the simplicity of using regular envelopes. I’ve been off work most of this year and I’m really going to hit it hard in 2023.
I’m a newbie at watching this stuffing community and it’s very encouraging. Congratulations on stuffing all 100 envelopes. I see this is from 8 months ago. I hope you are still doing well on your savings journey ❤️ have a blessed day
Thank you so much!! I am currently working on my second round of this challenge I update usually weekly!! I’m glad it is encouraging! Just want to show it’s possible one envelope at a time!! ❤️❤️ i hope you have an amazing day!
I started this challenge about 2 months ago, I'm making progress and stuffing at least one envelop per week, I go to college in August of 2023 and I'm so excited to continue my journey through life and the future, keep up the greatwork
Thank you so much!! And welcome 🤗 i will subscribe back to you! I love it exclamation mark I’m gonna start it again in the beginning of the year too! I can’t wait. It’s so much fun.
Congratulations on your envelope challenge!!!! I want to start doing money binders in a money saving challenge for a whole year so that way we can get ahead somewhere in our lives! Knowing my husband with his “needs” aka wants, and me trying to figure out an outlet while taking care of son, it’s hard. Prayers and wishing luck on everyone with their saving challenges!
Let's start buy saying congratulations !!!. Your video was the best video I have seen. You did not speed though it. Love it. Now just save for your self.
Awh thank you so much! I was going back and forth about whether to speed up the parts I was unstuffing and counting but I'm so happy you like that I left it in real time! That's the plan hopefully next 100 envelope challenge is all for me and whatever I decide!!
Watching this has gotten me thinking up how to do it in my virtual budgeting system, without necessarily adding extra strain on my budget. My student loan total is a little under $10k, so if I do this once alongside my somewhat aggressive payoff plan I could be done in a year or so... Thanks for lighting that fire!
You’re welcome! I love that my video lit the fire for you. Means a lot to me. ❤️❤️ that would be a totally achievable goal because if you did 100 envelope savings challenge you get $5050 and then if you just divided the rest of the 10,000 by 12 months. Boom bam you got this. And you could totally keep it virtual by either just having like a paper with all the numbers whether it’s on your phone or a physical copy that you could pick from or even a random number generator. I am uploading videos in real time of me doing my second round of this challenge every week. And I’ve been breaking it down by $100 bill increments which I feel like has been a game changer for me!!!
Yes that is how I felt!! I’m doing the same with the second round of the 100 envelope savings challenge again! Using up the envelopes i have. Maybe next round I will make some cute ones ☺️
Hii new subbie!! Congratulations on completing the challenge!🎉🎉 Thank you for doing it all in real time, I don't like the sped up 100 envelope unstuffings lol.
Just started my 101 envelope challenge, I started at $50 though and went to $155 so I'll have approximately $10,000 when I'm done. I'm going to try and fill 2 envelopes a week to be done in a year.
So much fun, just completed mine this morning. I wanted to see how you unstuff and found your video! I'm starting another challenge next week! Thank you
That’s awesome! Congratulations!! What an accomplishment! It’s always the best unstuffing and being like I DID THIS!!!Thank you for watching and your comment! ❤️😊
Let me make a suggestion to the group. If u are new at this 100 envelope challenge stuffing. Start off just doing 50 envelope first. It will be a bit easier to complete and second try and start from the bottom up. If u clear out most of the big numbers first it will go much faster with the lower number. Everyone we got this. If u haven’t yet 2024 is right around the corner.
My first time doing it took me almost 13 months! ☺️ also, it just depended on the week. Some weeks i would do 1 envelope then other 3. It would depend to if I was doing smaller amounts, or the larger ones. I just tried to do my best I could!
It is totally up to you! Some people do one a day, some people do one a week, some people do one a month. That’s the best part is you pick what works best for your schedule and your budget. I personally stuff weekly cause thats my pay schedule! I do a few envelopes a week depending on what my budget looks ☺️ sometimes i can do bigger number envelopes and then sometimes i have slower weeks.
What is the Challenge exactly? Why are there such different amounts made of such varying denominations? Which video explains what the challenge is -- when you close out each envelope?
The 100 envelopes savings challenge if you do it just from 1 to 100 for each envelope you save $5050. I did majority of this challenge before I started filming my cash stuffing. I can try to make a full video of how I set everything up soon because I am going to be starting another round of it for 2023 so I should have a video up explaining in the next few weeks. Anything with my cash stuffing the way my denominations are is just what cash I have. I do not pull out money from the bank to stuff my envelopes so I do not always have big bills. But money is money and small bills don’t bother me. You can kind of make your own rules. Some people will change the amounts they put on each envelope to save more money. Some people pull an envelope every day some people pull an envelope every week. I personally love it because you can set it to however works best for your savings journey. For me I was trying to stuff one envelope a week and then if I had leftover money I would stuff extra. But if I had months it was slower I could stuff a smaller envelope. It is a great challenge because you can make it as flexible as you need to be for your life!
This was so interesting and satisfying to watch. I’m gonna start doing this in the new year, and plan to do to it for the whole year of 2023! Wish me luck 🥹🥰
Thank you! There’s no particular reason. I get all the cash from tips from work so sometimes I get more 5’s and 1’s certain weeks and it doesn’t bother me having them in any envelope ☺️ i saw your comment right when i filmed my new video! So I actually decided to do a bill exchange video which should be up in the next day or 2!! ❤️☺️💃🏻
Just started today doing the 100 envelope challenge today. At the moment I'm not working so it's going to take me a good while before I am able to get it all completed. Yet that's ok with me. It will get there one day.
Exactly I love your attitude about it! The best part is, it’ll be there no matter how fast or slow you stuff each envelope!! Progress is progress baby! 🤗
Hello! So what I would personally do is once you get paid budget out where every dollar is going to go for bills/expenses/savings. Then decided for that paycheck how much you can put towards the 100 envelope savings challenge. You could either choose to open another account to transfer that money or I would withdraw it from the bank. And stuff those envelopes ☺️ I think it just depends what works best for you of stuffing actual envelopes or just keeping it in the account! Let me know if you have any other questions!
So I'm doing this challenge myself but I've modified it to work in my own way, that being the focus isn't really about it being 100 envelopes but more about the ending amount $5050. Simply put I work at the AHL Hockey arena for my town and we have a lottery put on by the hockey teams official charity, the lotto is called 50/50 and the idea is the winner gets 50% of whatever was raised that night, and 50% goes to the charity. So with where I work and the savings challenge totalling $5050, I'm really pushing myself to get it done by the end of hockey season (which is from October to April the next year) and the amount of spots/envelopes I fill is based on how many shifts I had that month. So far it's working pretty great and I've got more saved than I ever have before. I say spots cause I'm not actually using envelops, just a container to store the cash in a safe place in my room and spots cause I'm using a digital tracker on my ipad.
I love the way you’re thinking!!! I think that’s the best part of challenges like this it’s like you know the end goal, and it really doesn’t matter how you get there how you break it down. Just making it happen!!! You got this I believe in you!
@@alexistacklesmoney Thanks and yea, I'm hopeful I'll manage to get it done. I actually calculated out how much I've saved so far and re-adjusted which spots were considered "filled out" just to make it slightly easier on myself, because by my calculations of how many upcoming hockey shifts I have and upcoming concert shifts too, well I may not actually get it finished by the end of hockey season if I only do as many spots as I had shifts that month, that said I'm still gonna do as many as I feasibly can and if I don't get it done entirely then I'm ok with that, it'll still be more saved than I ever have saved before so I'm ok with that.
I started mine when i was 19 and now im 20. Im not be able to finish mine because the low income :( maybe i should just stop at 50 envelope in 1 year, but i still have to be grateful 👍
Yes be grateful and proud of yourself! Saving any amount is an accomplishment. And if you have to change it up as you go to better fit your life that is okay ☺️ i am proud of you!
I should be filming a setting up for my next 100 envelope soon and I will show the full chart again! If you want it before find me on instagram and message me! I’ll message you a picture of it
@@alexistacklesmoney I love it! 😁 I have a neat older truck (09 Canyon, manual 5 speed) but it was spending more time in the shop than in my driveway so in a moment of frustration, I put in an application for a vehicle loan. I expected to be denied because my credit isn't the best, but the wonderful dealer and finance folks found a loan program that worked for me. I have a car note now, but I know good payment history will help my credit in the long term 👍
I was googling and searching if it had a meaning, but I didn't see anything about it. It looks like someone just stamped it with one of those markers maybe? 🤔 who knows!?
I know there’s these videos I always see his videos on TikTok, talking about the errors on money and all that but I never know what to look for it, and even what you would do after that 😂 i should get on it though!
That sounds like a great idea. And yeah, I had no plan on how many I was going to fill every month or what numbers I just went with the flow of what I had left to budget at the end of the week!
Don't get it🤔 Seems a waste of time, effort, and paper too (all the envelopes). Also, who handles cash like this these days? Personally, i barely use any cash at all any more, and surely very few people get paid by cash these days?
Honestly, I use/handle cash every single day in my personal and work life. Of course, cash isn’t for everyone but I think that’s the best part of personal finance is you do whatever is the best for you. Whatever motivates you to save money and build a better financial future is what you should do. ☺️
New subscriber here 👍 congrats on finishing the 100 envelope challenge 👌 I was telling my bf about this and the next morning I stumbled upon your video 😊 so this much be my sign to start 😊
Thanks for subbing! Happy to have you here friend! 💕 yes definitely do this challenge! It is hands-down probably my favorite saving challenge. I’ve finished it twice now. And I love it!!

Yes be grateful and proud of yourself! Saving any amount is an accomplishment. And if you have to change it up as you go to better fit your life that is okay ☺️ i am proud of you!

Wait, did we all emotional spend this fall? It wasn't just me? 🙃
Nope not just you! 😩 my emotions were all over the place
@@alexistacklesmoney I went out and bought a Tahoe 🫣
Oh no 🫣🫣 but do you love it?!
Yes! Sometimes you gotta make decisions that are best for each situation! I’m happy it all worked out for you!!
$5
Take that 5 dollar bill out it has a red star might some money
I wish I would of saw this before!!
I was googling and searching if it had a meaning, but I didn't see anything about it. It looks like someone just stamped it with one of those markers maybe? 🤔 who knows!?
I know there’s these videos I always see his videos on TikTok, talking about the errors on money and all that but I never know what to look for it, and even what you would do after that 😂 i should get on it though!
so you did not follow a plan. You just put what you had? I am about to do this challenge too. But I am going to do $25 in every envelope.
Did you notice that you flip the money over to count it then flip it back over to put it down? 🫠
Yes I have noticed I do that 😂
New subscriber here 👍 congrats on finishing the 100 envelope challenge 👌 I was telling my bf about this and the next morning I stumbled upon your video 😊 so this much be my sign to start 😊
