- If you were to ask a Bible-believing Christian, what the reason for all the evil in the world is, the answer you’ll most likely get is “Adam and Eve giving into temptation by the serpent.” While this is certainly a major part of the story, it is not the full answer. In today’s episode, we are continuing in our series on the spirit realm by taking a tour through three events detailed in the Bible which scholars have identified as “the three rebellions.” Dr. Michael Heiser is one of the most notable scholars who has done extensive work on the subject in his publications. For more on this topic, please check out his books-namely the Unseen Realm-and his podcast, The Naked Bible podcast. In the coming weeks, we will take a deep dive into each of these rebellions to get a better idea of what happened, why it happened, and how to better understand the world around us today in light of these events. it is an absolute joy and honor for us to study alongside you in these extremely fascinating topics. As soon as Milena started to talk about being on the fence, my screen went black. I was looking in the comments to see if anyone else had the same glitch, but nothing. I take this as the enemy not wanting me to see the word and light of God. Sounds like something small, but it surely doesn’t go unnoticed to me.

My husband and I recently started diving into the spiritual realm as well and just like you, Milena, I read the Bible completely different and it makes SO MUCH more sense now!! I am so excited for the series to continue to help me grow deeper in the Bible and ACTUALLY understand what God means in His word!

I fully believe that it’s the Holy Spirit gathering His bride, the remnant.. getting them awake and ready! Satan has kept this world in a spiritual trans and coma! And now the Lord is taking His bride back! There is a spiritual hunger and thirst across the world to KNOW Him now intimately like never before ❤
I’ve been interested in diving into the spiritual realm for a while. Conversations like these are so needed to bring to light the reality of just how powerful the spiritual realm is and just how much we need Gods wisdom and guidance. I love this!
I had not opened my physical Bible in some time. Just using devotionals or my app on my phone going through random scriptures. Funny that a few days ago I randomly had the desire to go back to Genesis. I realized that I did not really understand deeply the story of creation. From the first episode of this series when you stated how the word of God is true. Everything that is stated happened. And it was like a light bulb went on and I realized that I was not looking at the word of God as anything more than just stories. The Lord has shown me through your words in that episode that this word is my lifeline. It is all truth, it all happened. There is no other truth. Thank you both so much 🤍
And even though this discussion in this series may be far beyond my comprehension yet. I find myself wanting to understand the word of God more and wanting to dive deeper and that's enough for me right now. Your passion for understanding the word is inspiring and the way you share simply to help others and connect with others is great

I feel like the Holy Spirit is inciting this fresh desire to learn more about the spiritual realm! My husband started getting into this stuff and introduced me to it so now I’m slowly learning about the Elohim, sons of God, who are the Nephilim, etc. it truly opens a whole new world I never knew was there before. This series is going to be incredible with bringing awareness!

This is so interesting! I come from the background of looking into Christian mysteries and Christian gnosis and it is so refreshing to see people speaking about these topics without fear. Evil works its way through mainstream media, music, film and even the foods we eat. I hope you bring your more mainstream audience to reflect on these topics with love and not fear.
i love this series! it’s so needed for me right now. my family member is an unbeliever and always is telling me Jesus isn’t the way, there’s no way God would allow that be to be the only way, the Bible contradicts itself, how could the Bible be true, how can creation be true if the earth is millions of years old.. etc etc. it’s so hard to hear her say these things and my heart really grieves because the answers i give cant satiate her skepticism. i’m so hungry to learn more and ready to learn from y’all.
i would like to suggest that maybe y’all decide how deep to go into the certain topics discussed in each episode. it’s hard to follow when there comes an explanation of something and then it’s cut short. i know it’s probably hard but it would definitely make it better to follow.

I have a question- Would you guys ever consider doing a series on pagan traditions such as Christmas, Easter and the bunny, valentines, etc. To see how the church later adopted all these traditions that actually have demonic roots. I’m loving this series! Only critique I have is that Jordan goes off into a handful of points not particularly pertaining to the specific episode and it makes it a little hard to follow. I feel like much of the episodes are “look forward to learning about this” rather than what the episode itself is about. Other than that, you both are giving me so much knowledge that I truly appreciate!
In my church we have a new believers class in these topics such as the fall of man and Gods plan of salvation

And GK Beale’s (I believe OPC) book “God dwells among us” (about temple theology, but points to evangelism.)
Thanks for discussing this. I love this topic. I got interested in the topic of angels and the spiritual realm when I was studying head coverings, “for the angels.” And then when visiting a church and the pastor was preaching on Eph 3 and the purpose of the church. In it it discussed that as we meet together and fellowship as believers, the angels(rulers and authorities in the heavenly places) causes the angels to turn and glorify God through watching us as a church. I thought it was super interesting.

When Jesus died and came back he took on the form of a body that was not identical to the one he was in. When Jesus rose an angel ‘came down from heaven’ and rolled back the stone and sat on it - so angels when allowed into this realm take on the form of a human body perhaps that’s how they were able to procreate because they can take on the form of whatever exists in this earth realm within whatever boundaries the lord has set out for them

Blessings to you and your family. It's lovey to see that you are seeking to understand scripture regarding the spiritual realm with such fervency. My only concern is that the book of Enoch is being referenced here when it has been noted by many theologians to be heretical--contradicting the word of God. I understand that non canonical books can be historically accurate and useful to understand context, but the book of Enoch should be disregarded at all costs. I appreciate you and your channel 🤍🤍🤍

Guys remember in sodom when angels came to see Lot and Lot said wash your feet and you can get up early then the guys in sodom tried to sleep with the angels (Genesis 19) I found that so crazy you might be right there was a type of angels that had ways that were similar to humans maybe because they were just cohabitates on earth but they clearly had supernatural powers because they then struck the men with blindness so they could not find the door

Interesting that Jordan said that book of Enoch isn't God inspired yet it is quoted through out scripture. I learned and read book of Enoch not long ago this year, and came to a conclusion that it supposed to be part of our Bible. Because our God is huge on numbers, and our Bible has 66 books and our Living God known to use numbers 1,3,7 the most. and to have 66 books in a Bible doesnt seem to be accurate. Would love to hear your guys response Jordan and Milena??? #asformeandmyhouse
I would say to this, that God is sovereign. He has miraculously preserved His Word for centuries and decades. The cannon of scripture we have is complete. I would look more into the history of the cannon and not get caught up in numerology. God is sovereign and He accomplishes His will. What we have in the Bible is complete and sufficient. Hey guys! I heard you mention a book of Enoch, but I don’t see that in the Bible. Could you direct me to what you’re talking about? I know Enoch is in the Bible, but not a book.
The book of Enoch was found in the Dead Sea scrolls amongst other biblical writings. It was apart of the bible until elders in the church removed it because those that wrote it were not inspired by the Holy Spirit but rather recalling and writing events it wasn’t by divine control of the Holy Spirit for it to be considered scripture. If you google book of Enoch you’ll see it, Enoch explains what happened before the flood and many more, he was significant to the lord and his recount of events were true but maybe he was just not meant to be a scribe for the holy book so therefore the book was removed but his writing were traced back in history to be accurate and the Dead Sea scrolls found were even more proof

After the flood Noah and he's family are ordered to be fruitful and fill the earth. No questions there but where my question comes in is: did caucasians, africans, indians, arabs, chinese, ect, all come from Noah's family? In my mind that doesn't make sense.

Okay my husband knows way more about this topic than I do but I do you want to put this out there. In the garden of Eden, they were not talking about a literal fruit they were talking about the fruit of the womb Satan slept with Eve. That’s why they realize they were naked, and cain was from Satan. And that’s why he was so evil and Abel was from Adam. Satan slept with Eve and got her pregnant.
Again, my husband knows way more about this than I do and can go into way more detail about the scripture for I am a newbie Christian. But the way he explained that makes so much sense throughout all of scripture.

Pease learn about the style of literature that Genesis is. It is not a history book and it is not a science textbook. Now we have the ability to learn about science. God gave us brains for a reason. I hope people watching this will understand you can be a Christian and still use your brain and believe in science and evolution.
Genesis is literal. Numbers 12:6-8 says God spoke to Moses differently than He did to other prophets. To Moses he spoke "Clearly and NOT in riddles." Moses wrote Genesis, God told him what to write. He spoke to him clearly, not in riddles. We are called to be set apart from the world. We will be ridiculed for our beliefs, scripture says so.
We must filter science through the Bible, not the other way around.

I didn't hear it that way... They both bounce off each other... I think this comment wasn't necessary... None of us are in their lives or their marriage.. They know each other better than anyone else does. I'm sure if Jordan feels disrespect he will address that himself. if this truly needs called out I think they have a close enough circle of people that could do that as well. Milena, I doubt you'll let this get to you much... But I love listening to the way you both communicate. Of course don't ignore a true conviction, but ignore the nit picking that can come from nowhere.
