It is our hope and prayer that this series builds up over the coming weeks and gets better with every episode to leave you eager for the subsequent episode. And we couldn't think of a better subject to discuss than the Spiritual Realm. Shrouded in mystery and misunderstanding, the Spirit Realm is a widely discussed topic in both the Church and pop culture. But how many of us really understand what's going on in the domain of the supernatural? In this introductory episode, we seek to set the stage for the rest of the series by explaining our motivation to delve into these subjects and where the Church has misunderstood some key elements of God's Word. We are so honored you are along for the ride with us and eager to see where the Lord takes us over the course of this series. Helpful Notes:
In this introductory episode, we cover some of the key players we find in the Biblical account of the Spirit Realm. The scriptures parse out multiple different kinds or classes of spiritual beings. The following is a list of the various types of beings and at least one scripture reference for where they appear in the Bible. Among the types of Angels (or Messengers of God), we find: Archangels (1 Thess. 4:16; Jude 9), Cherubim (Genesis 3:24; Ezekiel 10:4; Hebrews 9:5), Seraphim (Isaiah 6:2; Revelation 4:8), Fallen Angels (2 Peter 2:4; Jude 6; Revelation 12:7-9), and the Watchers (Daniel 4:13, 17, 23). Additionally, you see further subsets of spiritual beings referenced throughout the Bible, such as: Shedim (Deuteronomy 32:17, Psalm 106:37), Rephaim (Joshua 15:8, 18:16), Nephilim (Genesis 6:4), Principalities/Powers/Rulers of Darkness (Ephesians 6:12). It is our intention to examine some other ancient historic literature which is outside the canon of Scripture, but endorsed or directly quoted by the Biblical authors. It is important to note that while these extra-Biblical books may not be regarded as divinely inspired, that does not mean they aren't helpful in providing important context to help us gain a historical picture of what was going on in their culture and worldview as the Biblical authors wrote. For more on this subject, we refer you to Dr. Michael Heiser in this episode. Dr. Heiser sadly passed away earlier this year, but his legacy for the Kingdom continues on. Let's be students together on this subject and discover some amazing truths in God's Word!
Milenna, I don’t mind Jordan elaborating and expressing his thoughts. I don’t mind long podcasts. I feel like you cut him off because he may speak a lot but I’d like to see you let him speak because he has a lot of wisdom of the Word. I say this with love - hope to see change.

There’s likely a lot more that goes into podcasting that we don’t know about. For all we know, they are paying an editor to go through it all and this could make their costs significantly more. Someone needs to manage the timetables. Let them sort it out 😊

The spiritual realm has always freaked me out! Like from a demonic perspective. I avoid places that claim to be "haunted", tarot readings, mediums, literally anything related to those topics. I won't even watch scary movies. Excited to learn more! Maybe my anxiety can be eased through knowledge

Hello Milena! I started following your channel over five years ago. I’ve never really been one to comment, but now I have to! Over the course of time, I myself have gone through many changes in my Christian walk, and I had quit watching your channel a while back. A few months ago, I came across your channel again after quite some time, and watched a video where you mentioned the wickedness of Disney. I was so happy to see it as I had also cut Disney out of my children’s lives! Then I saw that you are appreciating and observing Shabbat, which my family, and I have also been for a couple of years now! I saw the video on your modesty journey, the shepherding of your children’s heart, etc. I am so happy and thankful because I can witness and testify to all of these changes in my own life and heart as well! Praise the Lord! Along that path, the Father has also opened our eyes up to the origins of the holidays, His beautiful amazing feast days, His set apart name, and so much more. We have lost many people on this journey. But it is worth it! And now, I am only 12 minutes into this video, but I am excited to watch! In the last couple of years, I have begun to really dig in to the Word and I’m in LOVE! I can totally relate to what you’re saying about understanding the timeline of events! All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness! 2 Timothy 3:16

Can we be friends? My husband and I have been in the same boat. The road is definitely more narrow than most realize and it’s felt lonely at times to feel ostracized simply for fearing The Most High and following His commands.

I’m listening once again to all of your videos of the spirit realm and Wow.. all of the sudden the Old testamente makes sense for the first time for me in so many ways. So many questions all the sudden answered which I used to have. And with all I know which is going on the World now of horrible things and horrible people leading, it all kind of makes sense. Even their mission and what the bible also says about what will happen before the return of Christ.. I could write in detail but do not dare in public because of what we are up against.. but let me say, I so believe the nephillim (or how you spell it) still have Some pure evil genes going on especially is certain circkles which are knows also for being perverted, powerfull and very.. keeping their genes close between Rouling countries… I used to be spirituel, until God took direct contact again and again and saved me, and now some of their theorios which never made sense for me, now I see how they have been deceived and I feel like you explaining all this is actually what is truly going on and is what is more closer to some truth.. I know this all sounds weird, but … I so get it now. THANK you for this series❤

When I first read what the angels were described as my jaw dropped, this is exactly why when angels appear in the Bible they say do not be afraid. It makes so much sense.
My husband and I have just recently been introduced to Michael Heiser's work - he has been devouring his books. It really does open your eyes to so much in the bible that don't make sense to our modern ears.
I particularly love his explanation of why God went after Moses after calling him, and what Zipporah did.

That superbook episode is my daughter’s favorite. She is 5 1/5 and she has watched the final battle episode at least 15 times and always comes back with a different question or observation and it has lead to the most beautiful and deep conversation about the Bible and the kingdom of God. Highly recommend it

When God made man, the Serephim, Cherubim, angelic beings were all there. Man is a magnifier made to worship, or magnify God. No other heavenly host has the gift that we do. They all have their unique functions, but being made in the image of God is what makes us special. We are mirror images made to magnify Him!

Ok, holly cow!!!! I totally thought going into this series I would know or have knowledge on this subject. But truly this is all new to me! It excites me, yet saddens me that growing up in the church I knew nothing of the significance of all this! I agree that it is a bit intimidating, and honestly puts God in a perspective that, I guess I'm a little fearful of... but maybe now I can understand why he says to fear Him. Dang He is no joke! He is not a God we can create in our imaginations and put in our pocket that we are comfortable with.
Truly I want to say thank you for this knowledge you are bringing to the table, Milena and Jordan! I know I can trust it too When there is scripture attached to it all. So thank you also for putting in the work and finding all the scriptures for us to see and educate with ourselves. This is something that I'm so anxious to know more about.

Y’all would love Real Science Radio. A Christian podcast that seeks to share the really sciency and techy topics from a biblical perspective! I’m talking quantum mechanics and the dual slit experiment, to French explorers who claimed to have found a “20 million year old” underground reservoir to designing experiments to show how photosynthesis in plants displays God’s love for his creation! It’s wild and I love their show as a Christian but also a research scientist who is very much into science and archeology and the evidence of Gods handiwork all around us!
Great conversation and series topic. It's important to know the workings and layout of the spiritual realm. Dr. Michael Heiser was awesome in explaining this topic in academic and layman's terms. You both seem very engaging and on fire for God and scripture. I subscribed!!
You guys should definitely look into Catholicism!! There is something to be said for learning from the great lovers of God throughout history vs. relying upon contemporary academic scholarship. The Catholic Church has always put forward faith and reason as not only compatible, but essential to the faith. “Faith seeking understanding” is one of the oldest Christian sayings regarding the pursuit of interpretation of what God has revealed!

My brother and sister, I praise God for encountering this channel. Your wisdom has blessed me immensely. I would suggest for the both of you to start seeing what you call “ tangents “ to be the guidance or interruptions of the Spirit of God. Let the Holy Spirit guide the topics you are covering. The agenda will be an outline ,but don’t be boxed in by it. You must allow room for the Holy Spirit to guide the dialogue and share what He sees best for every occasion.
